In a culture where men are revered almost to the point of godlike it is not a surprise that they donot even work hard in bed. Nigerian men are typically in and out. So these women probably see ayoung blood that is still eager to please and has notbeen damaged by the typical Nigerian traditional marriage curse and they get hot. Meanwhile their husband is somewhere else being told how big his 2.5inch penis is by a 21 year old that he spends his life's savings on. End of story. grin

Why is her mom discussing t with you. It should be between the girl and her mother. She needs to be redirected and taught appropriate behavior not for this incident to be the topic of an extended family meeting

For someone like me that loves knacking sometimes 3 times a day when I am not working. I don't stand a chance in hell with that kind of job. tongue embarassed

BTW what kind of biz are you idoing?(if you don't mind my asking), if it is shoes and bags business please holla at me, I am planning to chase Kadry out of the house with all my material things, the less space he has for his own things, the bigger my chances of sending him on exile cool
LOL. I know it sounds funny but that is another thing. In all seriousness if you are tired and you just "allow"" him it is not like when you are ready for action. The one that he takes one look at you and he picks race for fear for his life. I understand what you are saying sha.

My businesses are all around home health. My agency provides care for the elderly and the developmetally disabled. I also run day programs for the developmentally disabled and also medical transportation. It's hectic and sometimes stressful but I can decide to take time off when I really need to. I work long hours but I can choose to do all my paper work at night when the boys are in bed.
I have dabbled in the handbag and shoe stuff but I just couldn't give it my all. I am in the middle of doing something in fashion with my sister and best friend. it will not be a boutique or anything like that but I will be sure to let you know about it when we roll it out. Maybe you can sample somethings for us since you know so much. I don't give nairaland discounts o. Don't think that you will sample for free. LOL

She is a nurse. This is not illiteracy. This is just plain stubborness. I bet you she would scoff when she was corrected and say it is the african way and she does not want to be westernized. The baby is dead she is live. Life goes on I guess

I quit my job in investments and I have no regrets. That job was stressful but nothing like banking in Nigeria. That is a whole other beast. That is a job I know I will never ever be willing to do. I just thank God that I grew some balls and decided to give my all to my businesses. That sort of schedule cannot be good for any relationship. I don't care what anybody says.

RomanceRe: Are SS & Igbo Women More Beautiful Than Yoruba Women? by Outstrip(f): 3:13am On Oct 09, 2011
My mother is igbo and my dad is Edo. I am so fine grin grin grin . I think calabar women or women from those parts are beautiful. Maybe I don't really see what the poster sees because I am surrounded by igbos and edos. I have a yoruba friend that is really really dark skinned and gorgeous. She kind of looks kanuri to me but she says there is no histoery of that in her family. They all look that way.

I don't think one adult can "maltreat" another adult unless you let them.

Why are you not wearign a condom still? What is wrong with you? I think you should have her take another test. There is a chance that teh first one was wrong. I don't know what to say but she not only put you at risk but even any unborn child. Keeping this a secret would have meant not taken drugs to ensure that any baby she delivers is not HIV positive. I pray you figure out what you really want to do and make the best choice for you
CrimeRe: Absu Gang violation: Victim Agreed To Be violated – Police by Outstrip(f): 7:59am On Oct 08, 2011
ANIMALS. Useless country. What a disgrace. Shame. Shame. Shame. Wow. This man very obviously is a rapist. He most likely rapes his wife and thinks it is okay because she did not kick his ass. What a dumb ass. This scares me because any man that says that it was not rape is a rapist. If you know the details of this crime and still say you are not sure or that it is not rape then it means that they can rape. You have to know that something is bad to not do it. Shame on Nigeria. That country is a jungle. Honestly I see animals doing a better job.

Please I need some advice for my sister she has been in a brutal relationship with a guy who isn't ready to marry her legally, she has 3 kids for him but yet this guy is not serious with life he beats her, the worst was when she was 8 months pregnant for her last kid, she fainted after serious beating and ended up in the hospital. The last was about 3 months ago when he beat her and pushed her down from his car on the high way, I don't live in Nigeria so I had to arrange with a couple of people and her mum to get her and the kids out of the man's house, he was never married, she got pregnant for him in the name of love and he asked her to move in with him ,he never performed any right on her. So she finally left his place about 3 months ago, and when the kids when on holiday in September he started begging that she should let the kids come to spend the holiday with him and his parents, he has not been paying the kids school fees, he paid the past ones paid by his child mother and we felt perhaps he was getting sober, so my sister allowed her two eldest daughters 7 and 4 to go spend the holiday with their granny at Abeokuta, when the kids were to resume back to school in Lagos, he didn't bring them back to their mother and said he has looked for another school for them at Abeokuta that the kids will now be living with his mother, that he has also gotten an house maid for them their, and he never got an house maid for a mother of three even when she was living with him. Please I just need to know if their is any organization that fights for the rights of victims of domestic violence and women in this kind of situation, my sister is so frustrated and wants her daughters back.

please you can post here or send any important information to: blessedmascot@yahoo.com

Thanks
There is no short cut. She needs to go through the legal system. Give her counsel. There are some female lawyers in this section that might be able to help her. Your sister did not use wisdom. She should have known the level of wickedness in the heart of this man and his family by now. PrivateMessage debrief. I think she is a lawyer. There is another female lawyer here. I also need to start keping track of their usenames so that I can refer people to them.

Also try to start a new separate thread because this might get lost in the belly of this thread. Good luck to your sis
FamilyRe: Is It Wise To Explain Your Financial Problems To Your Kids? by Outstrip(f): 1:28pm On Oct 04, 2011
agog:
Children will always be able to figure out these things even if we think we're sheltering them from reality. Our hardships are part of reality, even in a child's world. Children can observe things and are smart enough to know when adults are hiding stuff from them in the name of "protecting them".
You spoke my mind in this. If they are carried along with what is happening in the house, they are lesser likely to fall to outsider enticements (in the case of teen girls). They also pray for Dad and Mom situations to be changed.
The money in her parents account should not be an issue with this. proper upbringing is what will make her choose not to be a prostitute.

Why steal a baby when you can adopt one legally. huh huh huh
Evil sometimes does not make sense. She could adopt one legally but maybe this baby was just a few months old and she could be passed off as a new born. All the wicked woman had to do was fake a pregnancy and reappear 9 months later and say she had the baby in Lagos or something. I feel so sorry for these children because you know that they most likely will be tortured and abused on a daily basis. That child will just wonder why the mother hates him or her not knowing that she was just used to stop people from talking about her fake parents childlessness
