cotton101:It is true. When good men do nothing evil will triumph. I never so my dad abusive to my mother. I never can imagine that he ever would even consider stepping out on her. So I totally understand were you are coming from. I joined nairaland and realized that I lived in a fantacy world. Not only are irresponsible men rampart but they are even celebrated. look at people not ashamed to say "I am a LovePeddler" "I just poke my schlong anywhere it lands" and feel no shame. Tufia kwa |
darkhand:No he is not a wimp. He sounds like a very educated well grounded man and many women love and want that. Nobody wants a barbarian which is unfortunately what is mostly lying around. Thank God my only unmarried sister is open to all types of men. She has a bigger pool to pick from. This nonsense that you people keep spewing is getting old. Calling a man a wimp because he has an issue with irresponsible men. Shame |
You people are so immature. This is not an Oshiomole thread. I have no alliance to anybody. I don't even know who is running or not running. You are so small minded t think that it is attack on this man. It is the issues. This is not primary school or a clique. More needs to be done and it does not matter if it Oshiomole or Mr nobody there. This is the bloody problem with Nigeria that people just cannot be so feverishly attached to someone |
I feel ever so sorry for you type! Let me ask you this: How many of the private schools in Benin where tuition fees that are as high as N50,000 per term have air conditioning units in the classroom? Even at that, the governor is not doing that as cheap publicity rather, He is making an effort to set a standard of what Educational infrastructure in Edo State ought to look like! So you really are in denial of the standard drainage that Oshiomhole's government has put in place on ALL the newly constructed roads upon which the walk ways sit? Wow, Nigerians! As for the Uselu flooding, even though that road is FG road, Oshiomhole has gone a step further to use the state taxes to design a modern water storm layout that will channel floods from Uselu-Ugbowo axis down to Ogba river and this work is already on-going and they have started with the teachers house section. As for the flooding of Benin City,Oshiomhole under two years, despite the then led PDP house of house refusing to back the idea, He was able to get the design and costing of Benin City water storm project out and we now have an idea of really how much it will cost to deflood Benin City, which by the way is a whooping N36bn.He did not stop there,I am aware He has already awarded the first phase of the project costing N6bn and the project will be in 6-phases. I think these are signs of a government that is out to better the lots of the people living in the state. If only the previous government were able to conceptualize the idea of deflooding Benin and put in place a working design, that would have helped Oshimohole's government! Like I said in my previous post, Oshiomhole no doubt has tried, but there is still alot to be done. In all, given the meagre resources at his disposal compared to say Delta state,I would give oshiomhole a pass mark.
Don't waste your pity. When did Oshiomolhe give out the countract? Was it ot in february. How much work has been done. Everything still looks the same. It's been almost a year since the so called work started. Nothing to show. Please stop talking about those doggone ACs. It is starting to irritate me |
Me and you who knacks more mscheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew. You that Mr Kadry has to take strength training for before he can keep up. Professor or Knacking. LOL. Which country side. That man? I am still waiting. The Bible says they that wait on the lord shall renew their strength. LMAO |
enosa where was the "high standard drainage system" installed because uselu is still a river with just a little rain. I cannot imagine a better spot in Benin to install this new drainage system. It is shame that we embrace failure with so much conviction. He put ac units in Idia college and emotan grammar school. Are you kidding me. I myself can put ac units in those school why in the world would I pat a freaking governor on the back for put 2 or 3 ac units in two of benins most influencial public schools. It does not take much does it? You even make him sound like he is a failure. Also once again the beautification projects do not count. With all the nonsense that goes on in Benin right now it is laughable to applaud the governor for planting a few flowers. |
Awwww. So sweet. You can shoot me a message whenever. I think you will figure it out. Marriage is the most difficult thing someone can ever do but it is also one of the most fufilling thing. That does not mean that it is the only thing. I still don't understand why people cheat over and over again when they know they have made a commitment. What other choice is left for the other person besides walking out of the marriage? sad part is they will cry foul when you choose to move on. Truth is somethings we will never completely figure out and who says we have to. |
A picture is worth a thousand words. Why would he even try when his own people will defend him. It is the same issue with the whole of Nigeria. we celebrate mediocrity. |
The parents finacial situation should never be the childrens problem. It is not their issue to know if there is plenty or not. The only time that it would be obvious s if someone end up under a bridge somewhere |
May be you'll finally see when it is too late. Did you read that charges were dropped and fresh charges were filed? he wasn't convicted for the offence you are going nuts about. Read between the lines.
Was it his responsibilty to hold the prisoner or not? I am not sure why it was treatede as a criminal case. It was his responsibilty and he let one of the most dangerous people in Nigeria escape. He might not get jail time but he failed and as such punished. he did not even get demoted. This is sad. It sends a message that Nigeria is still not taking this Boko Haram situation seriously |
oh yeah?! how was it before adams came on board? i bet you could leave your house and stroll then when the rains were pouring abi? we nigerians never appreciate any good thing. no wonder most other governors like the one in delta state would rather pocket the money instead of using it to better the lives of his people!
He has been there more than 3 years. What exactly has he done. Please don't count his beautification projects. Those don't count |
Her children should be taken from her until she decides to heal herself. The only sickness is she has is an acute case of s*tu-pi-di-ty |
Boyloaf:ROFLMAO. I actually enjoyed reading all the comments. Reminds me of those barbers in the movie coming to america. Bunch of old men who just want to abuse themselves. LL |
The poster is just being funny. The fact of the matter is that when it rains in Benin you better not leave your house unless you have trained to swim in the Olympics. There are simply no roads. |
What a joke. He should have lost at least a rank. This is a matter of national security |
LOL. You are so wrong for that. Really though it is annoying. I can't take any article seriously that has that word "storms" in it. |
maclatunji:I agree with you. I know it is a lifestyle for some people but I find it hard to wrap it around my head when someone tells me that their children are in boarding school. I just always wonder WHY? You are not the one raising your kid if he is in boarding school. Period. No matter how hard you try to make it seem that that is not the case. When you see your kids once a month except for holidays then the other kids in the boarding school are the once raising them |
So someone wrote it for her mscheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew |
Why do they have to use the word "storms". It's so annoying. All celebrities are always storming into somewhere in Nigeria. Omotola stormed into the market and was buying fish. genevieve storms into the mall to buy shoes. It is so lame |
Are you seriously asking if you should keep waiting? When will you grow up. Look how you keep setting yourself up. Please move on. You don't know how strong you really are until you faced these kind of challenges and you take the hard but more realistic approach to solve the problem. You will be fine without this loser and your will your children. It is unfortunate but the worst thing you can do to yourself right now is to keep living in fantasy. Move out and move on. |
horny4u:Is his father absent or is there something that the poster told you that we do not know |
What do you expect. When he is done here he willprobably go force his 15 year old housemaid to have sex with him or slap his driver for driving too fast or bribe the police man on his way home all the while shouting about what is morally right. Nigerians for you |
I am so happy that they have found happiness. I could just cry. Thank God he is taking control and letting his children bully him |
May her soul rest in peace and may her legacy live on |
flakkygirl:No offence but women like you are the types that do not live their own lives then move in with their children in their old age to try to cause problems in their childrens lives. This is why we have so many troublesome parent in laws in Nigeria. Even when they still have life left they will decide that they have finished living life and sink their evil talons into their childrens marriage. |
LOL. The funny thing is that the darling is not like a romantic darling. I think they have called each other darling for so long that it almost sounds like they are just sayng each others name. I actually read an article recently that said doing that can make it lose it's value sort of. It makes sense because I am sure when my dad says darling what is for dinner he is not thinking in a romantic way. I like the idea of using first names and then a pet name as the other thing. |
frenchman2:I like how he says they are not related by blood and then ends it with it is inbreeding. I doubt that these people are irresponsible. Both of them lost their spouses over 10 years ago. Then they find themselves and not someone who is not appropriate. They were also being discrete. I applaud them. You don't see people that have that sort of respect for themselves these days. The kids are probably embarassed thinking what people will say. they are thinking about themselves not their parents happiness. Meanwhile their parents did not deny them their own happiness. justwise:You are so rotten ![]() |
softgirl he needs to go see a doctor asap. I think I have an idea what it is but he needs to go see a doctor. I don't think it is life threatening but it needs to be managed. A similar thing happened to someone I know and it was when she got pregnant that it started too. When you are pregnant your immune system is basically compromised so you might have flare ups of certain things that never would have bothered you before. This is not going to be an only you thing. It has to be both of you and I highly doubt that is is fungal or bacterial. Just my two cents. You have to rule out certain things because if there are certain kinds of flare ups your doctor might not want you to have a vaginal birth. Whatever you have should not be guessed. Do all the tests and the less common ones like HSV 1 and 11 |
Bruises ke? Ask him what the bruises look like or ask him to show you because your doctor will definitely ask you that. By the way why is he not going to his own doctor. |
I am sorry but your friend is a F--OOOL. I am not sure how a man can even marry her. She will probably not listen to him. Her pastor will dictate what happens in the home. I will not give my own father that much power over my life not to talk of a pastor. Is he God? |
