When did Yoruba start? Did anyone call himself/herself Yoruba during the times of Oduduwa or Oranmiyan? The concept of Yoruba ethnic group started much more after these historical figures

My brother in-law was a member of an Archeological team that excavated the site of an ancient community near Iresi, Osun and they found remains of people who died there 5000 years ago.

Radiocarbon dating showed that the Obelisk at Ife (commonly attributed to Oranmiyan) was constructed around 100AD.

Coins minted by the Roman Empire 2000 years ago have been discovered in Archeological sites in Nigeria

The kingdom didn't originate from Yoruba but the incumbent Oba ruling dynasty originated from Oranmiyan, a Yoruba prince and grandson of Oduduwa.

Before Oranmiyan, there was no Oba in the town, instead they had Ogisos. Oranmiyan renamed the town (formerly called Igodomingodo) , Ile Ibinu which was corrupted to Ubinu and later on Bini.

Suspects- Business partners, the victims wife, the girl’s ex boyfriend.

Pointers- Police should look into any recent business dealings the victim has done, any recent disagreements? Next of kin should be questioned also!

2) Multiple stabs to the chest, Tommy and even legs. These were done to make sure that he didn't survive.

In cases of self-defense, one or two cuts to weaken him would have been enough for Chidinma to escape but she continued stabbing him.

3) In all of these stabbing, Ataga didn't attack or injure her in return- this mean he was in a disadvantaged/helpless position.
