That number 10...I never understood it...my mum must be d worst offender. Sth will drop from her hand, instead of bending to retrieve it, she will yell for someone to come pick it up....at her feet oh. Sweet mum...we teased her endlessly about it when we grew older.

Op u are so on point! Many of those socalled A-listers no longer excite me. I attend events early now to enjoy the opening acts....they crack better jokes. Once d big goons take d stage I mentally switch off.....boring lot.
I was aghast watching/listening to Basketmouth at Mo Abudu's 50th bash, he was outrageously boooring, such dry jokes......d entire crowded hall was eerie quiet....no one even giggled! It was that bad.
I think many of them have veered into other business ventures so they don't give as much of themselves to creating jokes like they used to. Basketmouth, AY, I go die, Agwu have outrun their course,,,they should just pack up n quit d stage.

I wasn't aware that SON goes about verifying d quality of materials being used at building sites oh. But what about d original foundation being inadequate for d additional 4 floors added to d building? And construction taking place on a building while people are residing in? Mr SON didn't consider all that. God save Nigeria from these charlatans parading as experts.

I got a celebrity artist he admires to come n surprise him at a private dinner I planned for his bday. I had always told him I could reach d artist but he never believed me.......d look on his face that day was magical....well worth my effort. He still talks about that event n I am also quick to bring it up whenever I need him to do sth for me......and he never refuses.....my man is so so sweet!

Age is only a number. Unless it's required for sth important, like medicals or legally, u reserve d right not to disclose yr age. Though I agree with d op that u shouldn't lie about it anyway.
In my case I don't lie abt my age but I choose when n to whom I wish to reveal it. If a person asks for my age, I assess why he/she wants to know n that shapes my answer.....A person's age is not a prerequisite for being my friend.

I'm so guilty of this silent treatment. Once I fall silent during a discussion or argument, my man knows trouble is lurking....he just ends d discos n leaves my space. Depending on how he handles it, d situation may persist for hours.
Actually I need that time to cool off, gather my thoughts n phrase my communication module. And when I eventually lay into my speech, he begs me to stop because that he prefers d silent treatment! Women, can men ever fully understand us!

So u feel what people are sharing is fabrication, u have to realise that the spiritual controls the physica.. let me tell u waht happened to me just two years back during my service year.. my first day at camp I was a little bit scared coz of the many bushes and all.. at night prayed a silent prayer for God's protection throughout my stay in camp..

I laid on my bed to sleep and closed my eyes, after just some seconds I opened my eyes just a bit an lo and behold I saw a tall white man standing at the corner of the room his hair was coiled, he looked at me and smiled then he waved his hands that was when I my eyes closed then suddenly I woke up back but alas he was gone, I wasn't scared coz I knew he was my Guardian angel.

As a Christian, of course I know abt d spiritual realm.....d Bible talks about it n anyway, our Faith is rooted in d spiritual. I'm also not unmindful of mysterious unexplainable occurrences. We also have illusions n delusions n some of these stories may fall into these categories. That I don't believe a story does not mean it's not true or factual. When I think a story has been overly embellished, I read it like fiction.

Nigeria police never follow proper procedure in everything they do. Are they authorized by law to help a landlady eject tenants forcefully? What are d courts for? And those police women were wrong to expect d tenant to follow them without finishing her bath. I am sure d landlady had "seen" their Oga adequately before their arrival...that's d reason for their overzealousness.
But I pity d attackers.....d police will deal ruthlessly with them for touching their officers oh! They shouldn't have taken the law into their own hands.

A responsible, responsive n proactive govt would have reviewed d NYSC laws in view of d current security challenges, but with this lame duck govt, that's a tall order. Parents have protested in strong terms d sending of their wards to these volatile insecure areas and have suggested that NYSC postings should be done either to state of origin or geo political zone d student hails from....who wants to throw their child into d lion's den. Otherwise let the scheme be suspended until further notice....it has lost its value n relevance anyway!

My sister read my post well.....I said IF d school knew she had this health challenge, then d instructor's actions are inappropriate. I also think we don't have d full story so we are all being hypothetical to some extent. Once there's a proven underlying medical condition, it changes d rules of d game in certain instances. There's a reason why people plead insanity in murder cases.
The poor girl was sick and now she's dead....everything else is rhetorical!
