babasin:@Babasin. With a student visa, you are automatically entitled to a residence permit in I think all European Union countries. On your second question, no country in the world is waiting for black people to give jobs to, not even any of the big three of US, Canada, UK. The logic is: as a black man and a Nigerian for that matter, wherever you are, you have to beat the odds to succeed. The people from baltics are doing shitty jobs in western Europe simply because the pay in the west is much better. Anywhere there is better pay people will move, thats why there are still loads of Europeans and Americans in the Niger Delta doing shitty jobs despite all the kidnappings. If violent racism was a huge problem for blacks in the baltics, they wouldn't have easily joined the EU or schegen area. Besides, pay a visit to Germany and learn more about racism.I think it is very pronounced there. Furthermore, Pleeeeeaaase. . . there are blacks in jails in every country and we all know the reason- wrong choices like selling drugs, fraud, etc. Any country that doesn't put criminals in jails would have problems. I know lots of blacks that were in jails in Europe and they never claimed innocence. Finally, Babasin, beautiful as the Cameron Highlands may be, and tasty as the tea may feel, I don't think I would still recommend it and other Asiatics over studying in Europe. |
Dantecmu:And what is wrong if he advertises himeself? ? It is always better to say nothing, when you have nothing to say! Please abeg let me hear word!! |
@bjliv Look at what you are saying!! Man, the Baltic countries are not only members of the EU but are now schegen countries too. There are different kinds of people on the planet, some are proactive, others are reactive. If you are the reactive kind, you will lose out on lots of potential opportunities. All the baltic countries are improving at tremendous speeds by the day. If you choose to study in Estonia or any other baltic nation, by the time you graduate, you would be able to live and work in any of the various EU countries. Besides, if you have a Baltic residence permit, you can move around all the best countries of Europe freely. Compare that to studying in Nigeria, where the is little hope for the young graduate and very, very poor quality of life. I am one of those people enjoying Nigeria, at least financially and socially. However, after having lived in Europe and America I still do all I can to advise Nigerians to at least study overseas, even countries as bad as Ukraine can be better than Nigeria if you utilize your time wisely. |
Painful, sad and pathetic.I loved her since primary school! Too bad she had to die just like that. It just shows how eveil those fundamentalists are!! |
Hmmm. . . . . there's gatta be something about this iice. . . some kind of rarity!! |
If its violent crimes or homicides maybe South Africa, but if it is general crime . . . . . . there's isn't much competition.Nigeria carries. Besides, its not crime in itself that is the problem, but the fact that there is no where to turn to for help in Nigeria. The police is just not there to deter criminals. |
May the Joy and happiness of Christmas light up the lives of those that have had any reason to be sorrowful!! I wish you all the best. And to everyother person. . . . . . Much love and a merry christmas!! |

My brother's company runs a bakery and deals in top of the range bakery equipments. Here, I will attempt to educate you on the equipments and their qualities. If you are seeking an automated bakery line, the basic equipments you'll need are: 1) Oven ( Rotary Rack oven is much much more preferable.) 2)Spiral Mixer (Different grades exist based on kilogram capacity) 3)Dough Divider ( Many bakeries operate with out it) 4)Rounder or Moulder 5)Proofer/Proofing chamber ( Used to regulate temperature) 6)Slicing Machine 7) Packaging Machine ( You could do without this) Usually the best equipments are made in Italy and Germany. However, they are too expensive. I really wouldn't advise you to go for Chinese equipments. They are not reliable. Russian machines are not the most efficient. The best and most affordable equipments come from Turkey. You would be impressed at their equipments. Futhermore, I'd advise you don't purchase in Nigeria. They are outrageously expensive and the quality is very suspect. Many seemingly new ones are just refurbished. My brother's company can help get very nice prices as he has deals with a Top of range manufacturer in Turkey. They cover all areas from Bakery set up, Bakery Consulting, Equipment Sales and Repairs, Ingridient solutions, Staff training and everything that deals with the baking industry. They also own two bakeries.Very Successful. You really do need to contact a professional or you would make serious errors.I have seen it happen one too many times. You can reach him here Total Bakery Solutions wenses79@gmail.com 08051750382

What Ideas Man, every essay has a thesis! Say something about it, even if very scant, doesn't have 2 be much.Thats the only way people can help you. I wonder why people assume ideas can easily be stolen.!! Not MINE!! |
I think there's a huge business opportunity in this question. Check this out! Rent a miniflat in maybe Lekki at 200k naira per annum.Furnish with 150k = 350k Rent it out for 20k per week or 3k per day. If your let it out for 40 out of 52 weeks, you get 800k You have an outstanding profit of 450k. I think I'm gonna do this but with many of such flats. Thanks Seun!! |
Worth Every penny!! |
@POSTER You would be pretty late by the 10th of december since the embassy would be having a christmas/New year break for maybe 2 weeks. Add that to the 21 working days required 4 the visa process and you'd see that its pretty late. That notwithstanding, there is still hope. I would suggest that you contact a reliable agent. For british student visas, the success ratio of the very reliable agents is very high compared to applying on your own. Agencies like Global Education Consortuim, Lawrie Green Education, MOD Education etc are pretty good. |
buzzgonz:. . . .and you're not the one that asked the question! nice name though: buzzgonz. . . . sounds like the hezbollah 2 me!! |

Very nice thread and very great progress made especially with the Yahoogroups! site. Funnily, none of the business ideas from entrepreneurs are striking enough to spark the interest of a genuine & savvy investor(so I think). Most business ideas people have are just the basic businesses that everyother person is already doing. I think it's time we start thinking up(in our business ideas) how to add value or create new progress routes for existing products or services. If your business idea doesn't fit into any of these moulds below, hardly would an investor be extremely interested in your business idea( so I think). There is what I call an eBIT.- Extremely Bizarre Innovative Tendency. These are crazy business ideas that are overtly ambitious and would alter the status quo, if brought to fruition. Most investors would be scared of these, but they would usually give the best returns or fail woefully. There is also the what I call the ApIT- Above Par Innovative Tendency. These are ideas that just basically complement the status quo. The average investor would be comfortable with this. To have a suceesful business idea Your must ask yourself a couple of questions 1) How would my business idea add outstanding value to the existing services been offered currently? 2)What would I use as a comparative advantage or competitive edge over existing service providers? 3)How much is society craving (consciously or sub consciously) for the service I would be providing? The Logic hence, is to look around and make sure that your business idea is taking care of an area of need that hasn't been properly catered for. |
@sweet T If you read the travel alert here https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-92727.0.html You'll understand why!! |
Tell them ooh!! Nice Defence of your organisation! |
I would love 2 tour the world too.Go to even the strangest places like East Timor, Vanuatu, Peru and the likes. I have already conquered a couple of countries, and would keep growing my list. However, I wouldn't mind driving across Africa from Capetown to Cairo. My only fear is the Sahara!! |
I think, first you should get admissions from the school you'd want to study, then they would most definitely follow you up with information on how to obtain a visa. For info on study visa issues, Visit http://www.mig.ee/eng/residence/study/ You'll get much of the information you need. For more info on Studying in Estonia, Visit http://www.smartestonia.ee/ |
I read yesterday on Vanguard that this story is false and that the bridge did not collapse. The construction company, Gitto seems to be intent on suing the media houses publishing the story. Their lawyers claim there is no iota of truth to the story. |
Nah, nah, nah. This is wrong of the poster. There is no source. And it is coming on the same day Katherine appeared on Mnet as a marriage counsellor. I watched Katherine Edoho on Mnet'sMoments with Mo yesterday and she was the poster child for a successful marraige. Mo Abudu made her give wonderful tips on how to make a marraige successful. This is a suspicious article ooh!! Slander or libel no good oh!! Visit http://www.momentswithmo.tv/wednesday.asp |
Delta State Governor- Emmanuel Uduaghan I think is doing pretty good. I think he is acting speedily and Warri is changing pretty fast.Everywhere is been lighted up with generator powered street lights and security has improved. I will score him 65%. I hope to see much more from him though. |
Dantecmu:Interestingly, you can find Akata in Urban Dictionary. Visit http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=akata |
Vicjustice:Yeah, I'm not writing to condemn your article, I'm just trying to complement it. I haven't particularly disagreed in principle with anything in your article. I am just shedding my personal opinion on these countries in a positive light to serve Nigerians that would want to go to these places maybe for studies or any other non-hustle reasons. No personal grieviance! Not at all. As regards constructive arguments, I think its a healthy way of disseminating qualitative information |
Vicjustice:Hope and promises of future Nah, nah, nah!! That can only come from within. Never wait for any country to provide you with hopes and promises for future. Thats the reason why many Nigerians are complaining that life is hard in UK and Overseas. Because majority are looking for jobs. Those that create opportunities for themselves are not complaining. And you can create oppotunities anywhere, whether in Czech, Swiss, Estonia, Germany,or wherever. The bottomline is quality of life. And this is the reason people are leaving Nigeria. Quality of life is low. These people are not leaving because of hope and promises for future. These people just want a better standard of living.A better place to school. A place where electricity works just fine and there is no fear of Armed robbery. A place where you can move around the city in reasonable time.Just a good place where things work fine. And I think the countries you mentioned provide these things pretty good. |
