If it was that easy, all of you posting advice here will be dollar millionaires too. Most of the times millionaires happen to be in the right place with the right product at the right time. If Sergei brin and Larry Page attended Ogun State university, there is every possibility that Yahoo would still be the search engine to beat as at today |
Dike Chimezie: It is either Shekau is dead or no where near Nigeria but d bottom line remains that d war is 80% won.80% won and These guys attacked and killed 160 people just 7 days ago? |
Touch not my anointed. Let God be the judge |
citizenisb: A passenger on the flight. The fasten seat belt sign was on for almost the whole duration of the flight with refusal to passengers to ease themselves. The ascent was laborious and the altitude was way below normal. The right engine was making a grunting noise and then about 25 minutes into the flight it stopped completely. You are not very bright. How was a passenger able to tell that one engine wasnt functioning just by looking it at it? You claim that the "ascent was laborious and altitude was way below normal" is also laughable as planes will continue to function normally even when operating on one engine. Finally how do you know the pilot of the ill fated Dana plane continued his journey on one engine? You dont happen to have been on the flight or do you work in air traffic control |
If yours is stuck on "setting up BBM", go to your 'apps' in 'settings' and 'clear cache', 'clear Data' then force stop. Go back and restart BBM and it should work. |
pappilo: The only good thing about this news is that they have taken the fight to the legislooters. Lets just hope it was the sinators and legislooters that got merked and not their lowly paid staff and support.Just looked at the other thread and it is with sadness that I report that no sinators or legislooters were killed. Just peasants squatting in an uncompleted building probably owned by an army officer/sinator/legislooter who masterminded the killings. |

francisbiz: You have just mixed issues! You make no sense. Stop digging yourself deeper into a hole. A few posters have already pointed out the holes in your flawed and dumb way of reasoning. Did the family members flout the enviromental laws? So as a grown man, every time I incur a financial penalty which I cant pay, my family members should rally round to pay for me? |
Only if I have malaria or typhoid fever otherwise Okafor's Law mode will be activated |

You young gan o. I was in the stadium that day sitting in Fire 2. I also remember Okocha gesticulating after he equalized. Them was the good ol' days. |
iukpe: My concern is not about my kid's school but rather at my kid's interest in learning. He is 3 yrs and 5 months old, and has no interest in identifying numbers or alphabets. However he can recite rhymes, say the numbers a bit above 1-10, he is very good with people's names but will not do anything when u ask him to. He will not concentrate when your trying to show him, he will shut his eyes and if you try to get him focus, he will cry. He also will not trace lines or connect dots or make meaningful progress to learning.Ya bwoy is gwan be a footballer.....zeen! |
TechRev: @bolded its so true. A society that rewards money no matter how it was acquired can never fight corruption!Your president is extremely dumb and retarded if that was the best analogy he could come up with. A 25 year old man living at home with his parents and has an interest in cars can surely buy a N10 million car within six months of starting work at Shell on a N12 million PA salary. Banks offer products that enable this |
2014 YZF R6 will be a 3 cylinder.... Whoop whoop bring it on! |
Credit card mate! Best invention ever. O man bo asiri (it hides your secrets) |
It is rumoured that the 2014 Yamaha YZF R6 will be a 3 cylinder like the Daytona 675. Cant wait men! |
valmunich: Its reckless drivinq mister! What's happeninq to good enqlish nigerians??Dont be stupid my friend. There is reckless/dangerous/drink e.t.c driving. No come dey form Obiahagbon for Nairaland jor |
manny4life: It's easy to state they earn $10/hr but you did not include taxes (SS, State, Federal, and Medicare), the cost of living vs Nigeria are way different. Nigeria has her own problems and while Nigerian wage is low (peanut), Nigeria does have it good to a certain degree. Please don't envy $10/hr, it's NOTHING.I earned £7/hr in England for 2 years working in a call centre and guess what? I bought my first car and flat (joint mortgage with missus) from my salary. I made about £1100 after taxes and after paying rent in a flatshare, Travelcard, bills, food, entertainment. I had about £400 left over. I had a second partime job as a match day steward at a London football club and that gave me an extra £200 or so. I lived well comfortably. I dont know what N18,000 can do for anyone in Naija. My mum has employees earning N20,000 per month and they are wretched. After transport and food, I doubt they can afford to rent more than a room in a rundown face me I face you building in the worst part of town. |
waleadex: N.B : seems guys whose names starrt with "Tu" are born to be stars eg Tupac,Tu-face......hmm !What of TUrai Yar'Adua? |
I'll like to go out guns blazing. "And I swear to everything when I leave this earth Gonna be on both feet, never knees in the dirt" I dont want to be remembered for nothing. |
Its a federal road jor! Fashola is working, Lagos is working. |
Olarajee: R.I.P. to the 2,976 American people that lost their lives on 9/11 and R.I.P. to the 48,644 Afghan and 1,690,903 Iraqi people that paid the ultimate price for a crime they did not commit. This is very deep. E make sense die. I will copy and post this. |
So cars/trucks also have biometrics.... Only in Naija... American wonder |
My Nexus 4 is almost a year old and has facial recognition unlocking so why so all the hype about fingerprint unlocking in the iphone 5S? The only improvement over the iphone 5 is a faster processor which 99% of users wont notice. Abeg make Google do quick release the Nexus 5 so I can buy it off contract for half the price ($300) of the low budget iphone 5C. |
Ralphlauren: oh ok. my apologies. No worries bro. Sorry if I came across a bit rude. I have received a lot of good advice and help on this thread which is why I continue to contribute so as to help and advise others. This is probably in the top 5 most useful threads on Nairaland. |
SKIPCY: surrender or not, Assad broke the international treaty on the use of chemical weapons and he has to be punished.FYI Syria is not a signatory to the chemical weapons convention. Israel is also not a signatory so 3 years ago they used white phosphorous against Palestinian civilians and there was no red line then. I doubt Assad is mad enough to use chemical weapons on the very day UN inspectors arrived in Damascus. It wasnt like the city was about to be overrun and he used it as last resort. It was just an unnecessary use of sarin. I suspect Al Qaeda did this (false flag) on behalf of the imperialists so they can intervene and act as Al Qaeda's Airforce. |
Ralphlauren: thanks.Maybe you cant comprehend. You sure didnt ask me for his details but I was going to help by giving you his contacts if he didnt ask not to. |
Buying a car instead of land. I surely regret not buying that N400,000 plot of land in Osapa in 2001. The same plot now goes for N30 million |
Ralphlauren: papillo, what bank do you deal with?GTB. I have a contact at HQ who takes my request by email and sorts everything out for me. I would have given you his details but unfortunately, he has asked me not to. |
Tassembly: Elar1 and others who have bid before for 364days tbills, seems its profit paid is still based on 91days and rolled over always for times making 364days coz i did 364 days in last bid at 10.5percent rate with a bank but the profit they pay me was for 91days,i called them and they told me tbills for 364 days profit is still paid quarterly and rolled over four times and profit paid every quarter and not once.anyone with experience should shareThey are lying to you. The interest on 2 seperate 364 day Tbill purchases I made were paid in full (for the whole year). They are either using your interest money to do business or they bought you 91 day bills |
RIP Mama. The song touches my heart. If/When I get rich, I will immortalise this woman. I bet she never received one national award from our useless government either while alive or post-humously |
Ralphlauren: very interesting thread. Why not? You may have to make a trip to Nigeria just like I had to if you dont have the necessary things like a bank account, money, banking officer in place already. If you already have these things on ground then just instruct your banking officer to bid for you. |
You missed out the most important * Do not hoard obrimma. Always let him give you the D. |
