Afam4eva: Those people tried going to the US or Canada but were not issued a visa, so they copted for the UK. Getting a US visa is not moi moi especially if the applicant cannot present themselves like is coming with peckam brought ups.Afam4eva I can do letter of invitation for you o. I also know someone at the deputy high commission in Abuja that you can do your interview with and they wont take your numerous previous UK Visa rejections into account. If interested email me at ineverenterplanebefore@ukmail.co.uk. |
Diasporan: Bro i don't know when you started watching football but if you had watched Ishola Shuaibu play you will know Wenger made a wrong decision then. This is far back 2000.The Player in question was in his prime then though he is retired now from Football.Lastly go do your research properly Arsene Wenger rarely sign people through trials. They already have a rich Feeders team to go select from so going for trials in actual sense is a mere futility in Arsenal and players and scouts know this. Can you list what Ishola Shuaibu achieved in his career after Wenger refused to sign him? Abi the guy na ya papa ni? |
coderXO: Generally, I've found that you need to at least domicile wherever you want to purchase these bills (via banks).I also researched Ghana Tbills and was almost going to bite the bullet but I decided with my head and pulled out last minute. The value of the Ghanaian Cedi has been eroded drastically since the new Cedi was introduced in 2007 and if this devaluation trend continues (most likely will) it will be a complete waste of time investing in their Tbills. In 2007 $1 = 0.92GHc and in 2012 it was $1 = 1.82 GHc (now it's $1 = 2GHc). If you invested 1000GHc in 2007 and rolled over and compounded it over 5 years at 20%PA, you will have had 2490GHc in 2012. Your original 1000GHc could get you $1085 in 2007. In 2012 your 2496GHc would have bought you $1368. In real terms, only a profit of $283 over 5 years i.e. true yield of 5% annually Not worth the stress in my opinion. |
The only reason he was mistaken for a waiter was because of his skin colour. I hate it most when I am in a shop and these racist bastards say stuff like "Can you get me this in a size 6". Of all the people in the shop why me? Obviously cos I am the nearest black man and must work in retail. Fucking plonkers! |
Over £4000 to IG Markets/ IG Index dealing FTSE stocks and FTSE & NYSE Indices. I know say I go still make my money back one day. |
PortHarcourtBoy: This is the problem with Nigerians...Ghen Ghen! |
Oludrex: £600,000 mansion.. This guyz are just too rich.. Pop should have sent me to pepsi football academy not some YabatechTo be honest a €600,000 house cant be a mansion unless it is in some remote part of nowhere city in France. You will struggle to find a decent 2 bedroom flat for €600,000 in decent parts of Paris. Bear in mind a 5 bedroom house in Lekki 1 is roughly the same price as this so called mansion (N125 million) |
419. Why cant your guarantor loan you the money. |
bettymafy: Some people have given valuable info concerning TB. Just to add. . . The least amount of money that can be used to buy treasury bills is #1,000,000 and the least duration is 90days.https://i39.tinypic.com/2ns9jkh.jpg You definitely can invest less than N1 million. The attached was done with GT Bank in May. If you already have an account opened with one of the Banks and have a very proactive account officer you should be able to buy Tbills from abroad but in a country like Nigeria it will be extremely difficult. I went to Lagos in May specifically to buy Tbills and even with me on ground it was so so difficult. The saving grace was a wonderful banker from GT head office who took ownership of my case and made my trip successful. Even at that, the bulk of my Tbills purchase was done through my sister's account. There were so many unexpected challenges. From banks telling you that you cant pay more than N500,000 into your account per day to some banks (First Bank) telling you they will only help buy 91 day bills at their own rate. You must be prepared. |

collynzo2: Oliseh is so bitter! When you read his comments you'd think we had some players dominating the UEFA champions league last season that Keshi left out. What's all this talk about home based players? Those who disappointed us at the confed cup were foreign based. Gambo made his debut in the last few minutes of a match we had already lost, you can't blame hom for anything.1,000,000 likes |
That is the airport for sure but people heaping praises are being fooled by HDR imaging and Instagram type effects. I used that wing in May and in real life it is still a shithole. No A/C, the toilet stinks to high heaven and fraudsters/scam artists operating right where these pics were taken. |
obadiah777: YOU DONT MIND TELLING ME THE NAMES OF THOSE TWO UNCLES IN LONDON ? I MAY KNOW THEMMaybe its the pastor of that church by the Woolwich Ferry |
What a stupid question? I cant even believe this is being debated My dad gave me a car in my second year in Uni. I sold the car after Uni and he topped the money up for me to buy another car. I didn't buy a new car instaed I changed the money to pounds and survived on it for my first 18 months in England. My dad has bought a brand new car for every single one of his children (2 for one of my sister's cause her first was stolen after 11 months) Who should he spend his money on? Charlatans and praise singers? Like someone asked, should he keep the money in the bank and watch his children fly okada everywhere? poverty mentality IMHO. |
I went to This Present House and their choir did a nice gospel song sampling Duncan Mighty's Obianuju. So the would say stuff like "Baba Na You" instead of "Obianuju". The song was nice but I felt a bit uncomfortable. The choir may as well have sampled Sir Mix a Lot's Baby got back or Ice Prince's Magician. |
Much ado about nothing! Nigerians can make noise sha. It is a damn movie, no one can sue and no one will be sued. It is a movie...make believe...got it? comprehende? Will Mercedes sue a movie for portraying one of their cars as experiencing a catastrophic brake failure and it then kills a group of school kids? Has the NYPD sued any movie producer for portraying its officers as corrupt in movies? I cant believe this is even being discussed. |
Gombs: Tis not stinginess...tis called 'common sense'Why buy a car of N3M when you can buy Lagos used for N300K and help a few more people? |
If the man confessed then I havent got a problem with him being sentenced to death as long as his confession was not under duress. |
Was it proven that he gave the child acid to drink? A vulcaniser may have had a "acid" at home as a tool of his trade. Couldnt a child have drank the "acid" accidentally? I as out one day and got a call from the missus that my 3 year old son had been found in the toilet with bleach all over him. If he had drank this bleach, should my missus have been charged with attempted murder? Everyone in Ibadan knows Senator Folarin ordered the killing of Eleweomo but today he is a free man and no one has been convicted of the murder despite there been several witnesses. I am not against capital punishment and have no problem with the second suspect who was caught in the act and presented ludicrous defence, being sentenced to death. Just let the man know his date of execution well in advance and let him exhaust all appeals. |
Abagworo: Is the 8.8 milliion the entire project cost with plastering, roofing, landscaping and completion? I recently built a 6 bedroom duplex and it cost me 45million at a very controlled rate. I wonder how you expect to achieve a 5 bedroom with 8.8million.This is a lie! A 6 bedroom duplex for N45M? Hell NO! |
honeric01: Afroconnect already answered you.I am just wondering why countries which impose the death penalty have more murders than countries which do not. The stats rubbish your claims that the death penalty acts as a deterrent and reduces the number of criminally minded people. You probably see the death penalty as a tool for vengeance and I have nothing against that. |
honeric01: It reduces it and takes away the eventuality of it happening again.Your thinking is warped otherwise why is that countries in Europe where the death penalty has been abolished record less voilent crimes/ murders than countries such as the US, Nigeria, Somalia e.t.c which still have the death penalty. NB I am not against the death penalty. |
chocopearl: they appeal for dem nt to b executed ryt, do u kno hw armed robbery victims beg for their lifes? My frnd jst lost her cousin who was shot by armed robbers after they took everytin he had. She told me dat i needed to see how they brutally ended dis man's life wif several gunshots all ova his body. This is a man dat cater for his parents, siblings, wife & two lil kids. Now tell me d person dat shot dis man do u think he deserves to b granted d right to appeal at all?My mum was robbed just last Wednesday, the latest in several robbery incidents. My dad is blind in one eye, the result of being smashed in the face with the butt of a gun, my mum has a patch on her head where her hair doesnt grow because an armed robber smashed her head in. My dad has lost a car to robbers so did my sister in 2011. We have been victims of 4 home invasions where the robbers gained access and 2 where they didnt. I was robbed in Uni and escaped robbers by whiskers on the road. So dont go preaching to me about the menace of armed robbers or people willing to kill. I have nothing against capital punishment but I am strongly against the execution of convicted persons without appropriate notice or where they have appeals pending moreso in a country like Nigeria with a tainted judiciary. |
blank: ALL as in EVERY single one of the prisoners had their appeals rejected at the supreme court. The appeals they are talking of is for them to not execute them. When Supreme court has said they should execute them. When all appeals are exhausted, then fine go ahead and execute but not an appeal is pending. |
Whilst I have no sympathy for criminals, I think Nigeria is doomed if majority of its youth as shown here on this forum think it is okay to execute a convicted man while he has an appeal pending in court. How can any sane person think it is okay to simply call a man out of his cell and lead him to the gallows without prior notice? |
OP how did it happen? Where you parked or did the force you to come to a stop? |
Well done 2face but I hope you donated out of the goodness of your heart and not because of shame. I say this because it took OJB going public with his story for you to decide to give. OJB must have tried raising the funds in private and I am sure he only went public when no money was forthcoming. |
Rooneyboy: what's making u sadHe killed tha pun@ni. |
qualified: going through ur posts, all i see - ignorance, naivety, deceit and a dose of stupidity. You are the slowpoke and you are extremely stupid. I know people that have died from complications as a result of SCA. I doubt you can comprehend. Where in my post have I said people should have SCA children. I clearly stated there are ways around that. How do you legislate for the thousands of SCA children born out of wedlock? Awarness of SCA Cell shouldnt be about telling people who or who not to marry but about how to avoid having children who will suffer from the condition. |
Ironic thing is that wizkid who considers N500,000 to be cheap money learnt his trade and honed his skills in OJB Jezreel's studio HIPHOP ACT WIZKID LAUDS OJB JEZREEL ''Empire Mate singer Ayo Balogun popularly known as Wizkid lauds the popular producer and performing artiste, OJB Jezreel.Wizkid revealed in a recent Interview that he learnt the rudiments of music under the tutelage of OJB. Abali1: ONE OF THE REASONS for marriage is procreation. One of a thousand and one reasons so why would you advice 2 carriers not to marry just because of one reason out of a thousand? If 2 carriers 'truly' love themselves then there are ways round having SS children e.g. Adoption, CVS. Why stop at asking 2 carriers not to get married? Why dont we campaign that people shouldnt marry carriers AS/SS so that the trait can be eradicated in maybe a generation or two. Should we also campaign that relationships where one or both partners is HIV positive, shouldnt lead to marriage? I am not trying to put down your efforts and I would be lying if I said I can feel your pain but your campaign should be about educating people about the disease and not telling them who to marry. Regards |
Abali2013: universally, one of the reasons to marry is PROCREATION.Marriage is not for procreation. Procreation only takes a minute or 2 and you sure as hell dont have to be married for that. Marriage is between 2 people who want to spend the rest of their lives together and not because of bearing children, sharing the mortgage/rent or any other stupid reason. |
