EmeraldKing7:No one is against it but they should be proud of their source of income. They are lying too much with the source. |
Positivepoint:But if they said they bought a Yoruba owned digital product for any amount when not mentioned on Forbes, u will believe, right? I sincerely don't know why anything igbo hurts some of u. Igbo is a market and yoruba is a market. I don't know anything about yoruba movies and doesn't mean that yoruba contents arent worth multi million. And there may be yoruba digital contents that I have never heard of it and that doesn't make it less lucrative. What some of u fail to understand is that there are three major nations in Nigeria that make up the country. And these nations are large enough to become a country on their own and full market. U may not have heard about the app service but it is there and serves the people it is targeting. |
Jman06:But americans have embraced modernity and their marriages dey crash like quick cum ![]() E no easy anywhere. Divorce rates in the uk and America sef high too much. Only the Asians and Arabs still have better marriage success rate. There is something wrong with the western marriage system then. Because is embracing western marriage system and she is experiencing massive divorce rate just like her western partners USA, UK. |
tshtsh:It is unfortunate that we shy away from the real problems. It is unfortunate that our leaders are not sincere about fixing our core issue. |
tshtsh:Yea.. It is either we run US model of true federalism or we run the UK 4 nations model. We can run 6 nations as regions in our case or use true federalism like the USA which grants more independence to states. Actually, that of the USA works becus the states are even nations on their own. So regions will work more for us as we aren't as large as USA with many nations into one country. |
vikiphy89:That is what I'm still saying, u can't win any war if u don't have the entire South United. Lol, we go lose again back to back ![]() North has a lot of allies alone. Muslim countries, UK, USA, etc. |
Fahdiga1:Sincerely, do u really think south east can achieve anything without the unity of the entire south and middle belt? U better stop all these rubbish of insulting south west. The major reason we lost the last civil war was becus there was no unity among the southern regions. I am from the east and all these childish behavior from both easterners and westerners here is not making sense at all because to defeat North, u need the unity of the entire south and middle belt. North has serious backup from Niger republic. South east cant fight alone. |
Coldie:What is right is right. Trump was insulted up and down by Americans, even popular ones, it didnt stop Trump from losing. Black Africans are something else. Always looking for respect for elders who didnt respect them selves. Respect is earned and not forced. |
sapphiere:Well, this mindset right here is why our banks keep stealing little amount of money from Nigerians. Fruad is fraud irrespective of the amount involved. I made a post like this before that if u as a lady had an agreement to visit a guy and u requested for money to facilitate the trip, if u fail to show up. The person can sue u. U took money without rendering your service. The best thing is to return the money. Now, many ladies eat this way. They collect money from many guys each week with the promise to visit. At the end, she might have collected up to 30k that week in total. She will keep giving them excuses. That is bad. Just that some people just overlook the money. I'm happy this guy didn't. Just the way our banks steal from us and we will be like it is small change. They do that to millions of customers and make millions. Naija is useless. |
chatinent:Yes.. We run a useless stsyem of govt. It is actually a dictatorship. Sadly, Buhari has done even worse and those to come after him we be learning badly from him. Nigeria is finished. The next president will be so terrible. |
Tedpgrass:How does doing wedding equate to love? If u don't Wana see what I'm saying forget it. If the man loves it, do it for him. He also went thru stress marrying u. Everything must not be stress free. There are some stress we must go through for the sake of who will love. If I'm to choose, marriage list and all that stuff, I wouldn't want to do it. But for the sake of the woman we love, some men even end up doing wedding they don't desire. |
Chii59:The point is: nothing is too stressful to be done for who u love. If men begin to look at the financial stress they encounter all in the name of marriage and wedding, they wouldnt be doing at all. |
Brownpeanut:Changing of name is not hectic for a lady who knows what she wants and loves her husband ![]() |
Chii59:We also need to change our marriage traditional marriage system that put all the financial burden on men. In working society too, the financial burden is not on men alone ![]() |
Brownpeanut:How about the hectic processes involved in marrying a lady in Nigeria? Have we considered that one too? |
drlaykay:No one is holy in Nigeria. Nigerians are the most difficult people to govern. With a useless police stricture that favours a particular tribe. Was at a police station two years ago, I couldn't believe how almost everyone in that spacial unit is from the north becus the oga was a northerner. Nigerians are not ready to fix their country. To fix Nigeria, we need to go back to the foundation of her existence which is faulty. The foundation is fraudulent and anything built on fraudulent foundation can never work. We are all deceiving our selves. Across the security units in Nigeria, we have embraced studied nepotism and tribalism. People who don't have the mental capacity to lead are the ones leading. Nigeria is dead. And can never rise until we tell our selves the truth. And many Nigerians are fraudulent no wonder many countries and institutions around the world add extra layers of sceurty check on Nigerians. Dubai is a recent example. Foolish country. |
Egypt is a tourist country and u will see many tourist sites. |
HigherEd:Brilliant idea. Bro, this is amazing. Can we all see how to make this possible? This can be done. I have been saying this. Southern Nigeria is the one losing in this union and Nigeria has matured enough for her people to redesign what the British did. Even in the area of VAT, majority of this comes from southerners. Our money and sweat is what they use to sustain this country. Our politicians don't care much because they also get paid from this wealth. U know an average black man is selfish. As long as it is good for him and his family, others can burn. He doesn't care. What can we do as younger generation to unit southern Nigeria and push for proper restructuring in the future? I am very much interested in this. Southern Nigeria has the brain. Extremely brilliant young people. We can push this. In a normal setting, southern Nigeria should be ruling this country not the other way round. |
Comedian2019:Better stay with dstv o. Becus they add EPL and champions league, it will be as expensive as dstv. Those leagues are so expensive to acquire. |
Arewa1stSon:Hope killing of cows in the north is not bad too? At least, we are regulating how the cows destroy the farmlands of our farmers in the south. ![]() |
simple250:Health care in Nigeria is pathetic. And probably the worse in the world. |
forgiveness:What is development? You guys are so funny in Nigeria. So, buildings alone make up development? Many cities in Europe don't have giant buildings but are way more developed than anything u can find in Nigeria. The cities u mentioned in Africa, majority of them have stable electricity, access to emergency services, well organized traffic system, access to health care facilities, water supply, organized police system, etc. These are development. Pls, don't mention Rabat, Cairo, to your list. These ones have solved some of the problems Nigeria as a whole is battling with. |
frankson1:Yea, they cant becus we run a useless unitary system. U dont understand. Take away oil money and allow states to hustle. That is when they can hustle. Our system is useless.. And why cant FG build all those things you listed? FG has useless universities, FG cant build standard roads, FG cant attractive enough foreign investments. FG is richer than all the states put together, so why cant FG get it done? Everything that FG is handling is a chaos. States even build FG roads. If u guys wants more competitive and viable states, grant states more powers and resource controls to manage their affairs. It is as simple as ABC |
achicares:lol, thank you jaree |
osamz007:Nigerians hardly obey laws and are one of the most difficult people to manage. There is this busstop I know of, the place is congested, so bike people usually stay close there and make every where to look congested and lawless. This sometimes lead to crashes. Police have calmly told the bike people and sellers to move away from that roundabout so as to create enough space to avoid crashes. They have spoken to them calmly, but they will not obey. I mean, these police traffic workers. U know they are usually calm and never armed. They citizens never, ever listened. At some points, the govt brought in armed soldiers who came with brutal force to chase the people away. The place got cleared for some days. The soldiers left. After some days, the people returned to that place again. The place became a mess. The govt brought in wicked police officers led by a lady. She wasnt armed but had her wood or so. She was brutal and rugged. She hit bikes, gallant and brutal. People obeyed and left. The place became calm again. But the police team have left. The place is messed up again. The issue is: are we supposed to behave like this? Why cant we obey laws? Must we be forced to obey laws? Nigerians are extremely difficult to manage. That is why I do not always blame these security men when they get out of control. Why are we this hard to manage? |
thebosstrevor1:Go and check ur exclusive and concurrent lists, u will understand why many people are clamoring |
thebosstrevor1:Hahahahhaaja, states can't create electricity. U don't know what u are talking about. After creation, the electricity is sent to national grid and shared. It is waste of money. No state wants to do it that way. State roads are still better than FG roads. Everything FG is managing is useless in Nigeria. From health care to roads, to electricity, to police, to security, to finance, etc. States even build FG roads and wait for FG to refund it. And states are not as rich as FG. FG is richer than all the states put together. Yet, states build FG roads and build their own roads, states even buy weapons for police which is under FG. Nigeria runs the most useless system of govt. No county runs this type of unitary system. Even Brazil has a better feserla system. States and local govt are closer to the people, so they need to be allowed to be fully independent. FG is not close to the people. If I don't have electricity, I need to travel to national assembly to go and protest becus my state has no control. Have ever wondered why no state in Nigeria is developed? They are all underdeveloped with dirty looking state capitals, beggars and poor health care system. |
thebosstrevor1:Ur governor has no control over the security, including police. He has no control over electricity! Your governor has no control over economic index that stimulate growths He does not control railway The list goes on. And these are core factors. Nigeria runs a unitary system of govt. |
GallantDuke:.. He does not understand logic. My governor has no control over major things that cause development. Those things are controlled by FG. I can't blame my governor yet since he does not control those things. I used to tell people that in Nigeria, our governors and local govt councilors are ceremonial in nature. They are just enjoying life becus they dont have real executive power. That is why most of them try so hard not to displease the central govt. Even their own security details can be changed overnight. We run a useless system of govt. |
favor914:But is it fair that govt is banning everyone who write against it? It doesn't make sense. It is unfair to treat ur citizens that way. Many people are locked up for criticizing the govt. So bad. |
Vardanes2:Everyone is blessed in their own way. Remove oil and let those who have it enjoy it. Those who dont have it will work with the ones they have. Some countries make billions from tourism alone. Some make billions from service managements. There are countless of resources across Nigeria. The current system encourages laziness and there is nothing we can do about it becus tribalims comes first. And saying that tribalism should end is a waste of time becus even in the most developed continents and countries, racism has not ended. Humans will always be selfish and there is nothing u can do about that. Europeans understood this and that was why they gave massive room for self determination. It is also on record that Nations develop better than states. States are heterogenous while nations are homogeneous. The few states in Europe, what they did was run a system that grant the nations within these states great length of freedom to manage core issues such as police, resource control, airport, etc. Whites have sense. Na black man mumu pass for this life. Na why the black countries remain extremely poor. And guess what? They will continue to be extremely poor and keep running to white man's countries. The same white men who had sense and organized a system that worked for them. |
Vardanes2:Resources found in your lands become yours, pls. Are u telling me that Africans cant resolve their identity issues just as Europeans did? Why are we so scared of changing a system that has not worked for us for decades, yet we are complaining. If we continue with this system, in 50 years time, we will only get worse. Nigerian elites are already buying citizenship of many countries. They dont even believe in Nigeria. |
