Anyway herbs supposed to be daily routine of Africa because we have it in excess here. The only thing Africans should avoid is overdose and take it in proportion. That is the right direction for Africa at this critical time.

Thank you. You have spoken well .

Ade3131:
Wonderful thread you have here.... I raised boilers and layers chicks from day old some time last year January with the intention of selling the boilers by Easter that year. It was all gloomy until I got to the market and realized that buyers preference was centered around affordability. They instead prefer to buy old layers for N1,500 instead of buying almost 4 months old boilers for N3,000. I learnt the very hard lesson to always consider affordability first before venturing into any business. I got some Noilers birds too and o must confess they were allot easier to rare compared to boilers. And I also must state that my female Noiler is a champion in laying eggs compared to the layers. She lays twice a day back then and despite being a free ranger. Although I always have layers marsh ready for her but she trouts the compound to scavenge for other food too. I made losses from the venture bcuz I was forced to sell the birds off for way lesser than my investment.

@Ade3131, Hmn. The truth is old layers are no longer very nutritious when they stop laying eggs. They are like spent bullets. However, those that buy them for their meat do so because of the cheap price old layers are sold for. The meat of old layers chicken is not that nutritious again. I think you should go into Cockerels- raising of Cockerels and selling them all year round. The meat of Cockerels is very nutritious and you can get good prices for them. Cheers.

Good Morning. It is another Sunday . How are you and your family? How are you coping in this period of turbulence? Hmn. May the good lord continue to be with you and your family. Amen. Every closed door in our lives will lead to hundreds of new opportunities for us to explore. For those looking for new jobs, well paying jobs will locate you soon in Jesus name. Amen. You are blessed. Amen.

Hmn. Consider physical businesses that will bring you immediate returns. Don't invest too much in online businesses apart from selling physical products online. You can go into small scale Cockerels Poultry business. You can raise these Cockerels in your backyard ( Build a Cage or Pen for them ) and sell them when they are matured in about 5-6 months. You can even place a sign at the front of your house- ' Chicken for Sale' and sell directly to people in your area or neighbourhood. People will buy your Chicken if the prices are affordable. This Cockerels business is steady and lucrative. You can even keep your office job too. You can start this venture with about 80,000 Naira to 100,000 Naira. Day Old Cockerels are cheap if you know where to source them from. Do your research on this line of business, Sir/Ma. Stay Blessed.

go to any park give it to d driver pay dem 1500 or 2K

You have to be able to trust the drivers which is not that easy. The Op should cut a deal with NIPOST based on the volume of packages she will be sending through the government owned postal company. NIPOST will be cheaper than other courier or logistics companies in Nigeria. OP can also try Tranex NG. www.tranex-ng.com Cheers.

kumulus:
So the vast majority who had been perpetually unemployed should be the ones paying tax abi?? Government is not father Christmas but same government over the years had destroyed the lives and livelihood of her citizens. Dangote came around and built a world class refinery under how many years?? If just Lagos, Ogun and maybe Ondo who are bordered by oil rich communities and collaborated and built just one refinery in the past years, do you know how many jobs would've been created.....hence the number of taxpayers in each state?? If they'd planned and laid inter-city train tracks across the nation do you know how many jobs that woulda created. All this politicians do is build hotels, fuel stations, clubs and some small businesses here while they invest the billions of dollars in the Emirates, Europe and the Americas....in most cases I don't even call it investments but unnecessary lavishness and show of opulence around the world.

Soon enough they'll all meet their Waterloo.....e remain small, just small.

How are the majority unemployed? Many Nigerians are engaged in doing one thing or the other as a means of livelihood. Do you know that collecting house rent is a means of income for landlords that should be taxed? How about the many Nigerians running Fish Farms, Poultry Farms, Schools, food businesses etc? People buy things and sell them online or in the open markets etc. What I am postulating is that people should pay something every month as their tax to the government, no matter how small. Don't wait for the tax office or tax man to harass you before you drop something. Even if it is 3000 Naira you can pay every month, pay it to the relevant tax authorities. If we can all pay our taxes on the work of our hands every month, then we can make demands on the government. Then we have the right to protest and ask the government to support every citizen adequately during this pandemic period. Less than 5 Million Nigerians out of about 200 Million Nigerian Citizens pay their tax to the government. Cheers.

A something for nothing mentality will not get Nigerians anywhere. You cannot expect to be watered when you have not contributed to the digging of the well or borehole. No matter how little the amount, pay your tax every month to FIRS, LIRS or the other State Tax Agencies. Then you can have the audacity to ask for palliatives. And when you are the head of a government organization or a worker in a Federal Agency, don't steal revenue money or partake in the sharing of revenue funds, and then start expecting money from the government due to a Pandemic. Government is not Father Christmas or a Charity Organization.

TruthinAction:
We are rich. Even internally generated revenue is huge but only a few percent goes to the government. I remember the new JAMB boss declared a revenue last year they generated which is more than 20 times that generated by the previous boss. The same goes with our ports. Most of the import duties are not reflected in the government account. What about NNPC? do you know how much is loss daily through the dubious activities of unscrupulous people? About $20 billion was missing during Allison Madueke tenure as the Petroleum minister. Even the daily revenue collected from transporter does not reflect in the government account. Even NEPA that charges bill from users don't record same in their final report. Corruption is running our economy. Why can't our refineries work? Because they are benefiting from the current system of refining the product outside the country.

You have spoken well. One of my lecturers at the University when I was a 200 level student told the class that- ' Nigeria is being stolen blind by Nigerians '. Everybody is participating in the looting of Nigeria, from the Presidency to the Principal of Ajanla Secondary School in Ajanla town. We are very wasteful as a Nation and as a People. You will never succeed trying to fill a basket up with water. There are too many financial and money leakages in the Nigerian system. Take it or leave it, Nigeria is a wealthy country. It is only being mismanaged. People start a business, start making some money, but they cannot even pay 2000 Naira monthly as tax. Na wa for Nigerians. Hmn.

pompeiimagnus:
Naija is actually drowning in massive debts to China. So people shouldn't be surprised when the federal government cannot provide social benefits at times like this, because with the current "recurrent expenditure" (costs of maintaining all levels of government), the money is just not there!

The only way out is to massively reduce cost of governance, especially at the federal level because sadly everything in Naija revolves around Abuja. Don't be surprised when this whole issue dies down and state governors begin crying out for bail out funds again.

Obaseki of Edo State has already said that he has spent over 1 billion naira to fight covik 1-9

India is 1.3 billion people in population. India is also not giving out money to her Citizens, but how many Indians condemn their country like Nigerians do? Nigeria has about 200 Million people, with many people not paying any kind of money to government as taxes. Even if it is 1000 Naira you can pay as tax every month to FIRS or LIRS, please do so. Don't just assume that the government is embezzling all the money being paid as taxes in Nigeria. You can't expect the government to drop palliative money into your bank account, when it is on record that your small business has not paid any tax to the State or Federal Government since its inception. Yes, the government is corrupt, but are you not contributing to the rot in the nation in your own way? All the countries paying their citizens and residents good sums of money have effective tax collection systems, with about 75% - 85% of the citizens paying tax monthly. Please,be honest with yourself . When last did you pay tax as a business owner or self employed worker in Nigeria? Don't develop a something for nothing mentality, please .

As this lockdown persists, I want to assure you that God will not forsake you and your family. It shall be well with you, your wife, your husband, your children and loved ones in all ramifications. Amen. 2020 will be fruitful for you and your family. Amen. You are blessed.

REAL STORY: They were not begging. The Estate organised relief items to be shared to the needy. Those are the people you are seeing there. The Lady that recorded this was not aware that her Estate called them.

Thanks for the clarification. Many blogs and news websites in Nigeria today are not professionally run and managed. People do all sorts of things to attract traffic to their blogs, including posting sensational videos, stories etc. The White countries we adore have their own social problems too. We adore nations who view us as subhuman beings and underachievers. Hmn.

Another weekend has come upon us. We thank God for keeping our families alive during this Coronavirus Pandemic. We shall come out of this pandemic safely in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. None of our children, family members, relatives, friends, school mates, classmates etc will be consumed by Coronavirus. Amen. God will help us to be more productive this year. We shall come across more opportunities to grow, make progress and advance in 2020 in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. How are you enjoying your Weekend?

This is just too much. Some people have bile flowing through their veins and arteries, not blood.

The lady will suffer from the curses she pronounced on herself, unless she revokes the curses and goes for deliverance in a powerful church. The things we say have a way of manifesting in our lives .

Governor Zulum, please help us tell our President that the current way Nigeria is being run is not working. I don't mean any offense. I am not insulting anybody, but we cannot be eating from the same pot and hope to develop as a nation. Better to lean back to Regionalism. Too much power at the Center. Thanks.

Glink2018:
Now I know there are a lot of old cargoes on this platform..since 1994? Davido, wizkid, Chioma wasn't born at that time, yet they are richer than 90 percent of you including seun...

Davido was born in 1992. Wizkid was born in 1990. And why do you think nairalanders are poor? Seun Osewa is wealthy but he is quiet. Davido was born into wealth. Seun Osewa is an entrepreneur and he made his money through innovation and intelligence. Don't compare Seun Osewa and Davido, Okay? Nairaland has changed the lives of many Nigerians. I don't even listen to Davido's music. What is your problem ?

I don't want to be reminded of this painful game again, please . It was a very bad night for me. I was SS 2 then. I was so angry that night. When Baggio scored that equalizer, the whole room fell silent. Very dark day for Nigerian football.

This new policy being introduced by the Lagos State Government is very good. Maturity is a good thing . Starting JSS 1 at 12 years old is not a bad thing. Ideally, a child should be 5 or 6 years old in Primary 1. Starting JSS 1 at 9-10 years old does not mean the child is smart or intelligent. Things always catch up with these kids when they become undergraduates at ages 15-17 years old. There is no need to be in a rush. People who finish from University at 26 to 35 years still become successful in life. Are we saying people do not get jobs even when they are 28-35 years old? Perhaps, this Policy should be debated on live television by the Stakeholders. I have a feeling many Nigerians will support the Policy. Cheers.

HeyHey:
Thank you oooo. I did 6 years in law with al the useless strikes, one year law school and its now im serving. Shey i wanted to take DSSC Navy form, they said i must be under 28 and have 3 years post-call experience. Biko how.

juman:
I studied auto option during hnd.
Dealing with auto is always interesting.

One nigeria failed us.

It is not about One Nigeria, Juman. We don't have to be ONE NIGERIA to work as a nation. We should adopt the 'Regional Mentality' to develop our States ( 36 States ) without waiting for the monthly allocation from Abuja. Each Region should have a Development Agency that should be funded by the Federal Government with some percentile input from each state governor. The Federal Government will then state that punishment will be meted out to people who embezzle the Regional Development Agency funds. State Governors should be encouraged to develop their States and attract foreign investors. State Governors should also be given the freehand to sort out the electricity problems of their respective States. We need to do away with eating from the 'Common Pot' of sourcing electricity from one Dam or Energy Plant- This kind of arrangement is not working . It has not worked in the past and it will not work in the future. I heard the FG wants to bring in Siemens to sort out Nigeria's electricity problem. This approach will not work too. Every State should be left to bring in companies from developed nations to work on their electricity issues. We cannot fully realize our potentials and develop properly by eating from a Common Pot. If we adopt Regional Mentalities with the goal of making Nigeria progress from different angles, Innoson Motors will flourish without any input from the Federal Government.

PrincewithGod:
In case you don't know, most of the motor plants you see in America, Europe etc are just assembly plants (like INNOSON). The components are manufactured mostly in China, Taiwan and Japan and exported to these plants all over the world for assembling.

You can make the statement above 100 times over. You've said the truth.

How was your day ? Yes, I know you are at home due to the lockdown concerning the Coronavirus pandemic . Yes, we might not be happy about the situation of things, but we should place our faith in God to see current events to a conclusion which will favour us. We shall not lose any family member to this pandemic. Amen. 2020 will favour us exceedingly in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. God will replenish all the revenue we are losing to this lockdown. It shall be well with us and our families in Jesus name. Amen.
