I just wonder what 'housewives' think when they drop off their girl(s) at school every morning. Must be some of the world's greatest paradoxical events.

Little wonder most folks refuse to educate, inspire, empower their daughters.

If Ferraris are never to be driven but kept locked up in garages and in showrooms and museums, a day is coming when they will be made without engines.

If women cannot be empowered then parents will not train them and if they are not trained they will be good only as slaves. Is this the vicious cycle we want as a nation.

You clearly don't know what you are talking about. If my husband was Dangote and I developed a vaccine against Covid, would my education and talent be wasted for the simple reason that we got married? undecided
I asked for details not innuendos.
My private life is not up for discussion here but I will say this, there is no single woman in my life before and after, immediate and extended family who understands what the term housewife means.

It is just a ridiculous waste of humanity, human capacity and human resources. I will not bring up a girl child towards that at all. It is better she forgets about marraige completely than engage in that.

She either gets a man with such a humongous vision that will require her assistance or pursue one of her own. The efforts of any parent towards the girl child must not be wasted on any useless sentiment. We want to see our daughters, not just sons become something. Something God created them to be.

I cannot possibly have a so called house wife. If for anything I desire high quality children because I believe in legacy.

Housewives just donot deliver high quality children I'm afraid. This is just one singular, practical deficiency out of so many.

People like her need to understand women are different and couples are different too. There is nothing wrong in being a housewife. It is the sacrifice some women pay for the smooth running of their homes.

As long as they are both okay with it and do not go begging for urgent 2k, you can only wish them well.
As long as the 'home' is your life's mission on earth, your vision and possibly the reasons for those hundreds of thousands if not millions spent on your education, I certainly cannot see the point but can certainly see the collosal waste of human resources.

In these matters I will always perspect from the Christian's point of wisdom which intended man and woman to be joint executioner's of God's Will. To the extent that woman was made subservient is the fact of the effects of sin and the curse placed. That's all.

And when any home has that curse lifted the couple is able to operate like a well oiled machine towards a single objective, they usually out outperform families still bogged down in ignorance. The stats are clear.

Families, nations where the woman is empowered are more prosperous, better educated and are able to withstand socio-economic shocks a lot better. The devastation of Covid 19 is a clear pointer to this. Many, many stories out there.

As long as they understand each other, I see no problem with it.

A woman who stays at home does not mean she's idle.
If you understand what it takes to keep the home going on a daily basis, you'll know that it is not easy.
What is there? Details please.

Lol. But you use secular banking, secular telecommunications, you drink secular drinks, use maggi made in UAE with Arabic inscriptions. Continue
You need to understand the dynamics of what Christianity is all about. It is not a religion, but a relationship and the cornerstone of any relationship is communication. And the corneratone of communication is focus and fidelty.

If you are talking to me face to face and I am either not listening or not responding then it is obvious I am either disinterested or distracted. Whatever be the case the relationship is certainly not advancing.

To commumicate with God you need your mind focused, pointed in the direction where you expect signals to come from and dialed into His frequency.

But like I said, it is for those who take God and things of God seriously. It is not for everyone.
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Listening To Secular Music or Watching Movie Bad For A Christian? by Reference(m): 11:11am On Aug 16, 2020
Let me put it this way.

Most folks close to me know when I am on the shop floor and will not bother to call me because the noise and vibration of equipment will never let me sense a phone call. I don't bother taking one down.

Moreover I have to protect my ears from damage so headphones are not an option, anyway they are dangerous near working equipment and one distraction can be fatal.

This is exactly what happens in the spirit world. The primary means of communication from God to you flows from Him through His Spirit to your spirit and into your soul which is the housing of your mind.

Now, the default setting of your mind from birth is tuned to the world, not to God which means when God speaks you are unlikely to hear except you ACTIVELY turn off the impulses coming from the world.

You simply cannot have two frequencies coming out of a receiver or receive two calls at the same time through one chip. So if you are expecting a call of the time unknown it is better to stay on that frequency. Turn off the music of the world nearby to hear the call from afar. On the days I expect important calls from the ogas above I don't bother with the shop floor.

For you, God is everyday so just cut out the world. You cannot be an effective Christian if you have communucation issues.

Corruption everywhere you turn. And yet they want the country to move forward with all the unfairness. And yet the wonder why the rest of the country is disinterested in joining hands with them.

They can see every index of life and living declining yet they cannot let go of their primitive thirst for conquest. Mortgaging thr future of Nigeria on the altar of gross nepotism.

Read, read, read. Listen more and talk less. That is what the man is saying. Your humongous population that makes you feel funky means scant little.

If not for the economic situation and the paucity of funds for infrastructure most river crossings the world over are designed for both road and rail to optimise such structures.

Great decision. God bless that judge. This is more like the best practice world wide.

Our judges should learn to sentence people to do community service for minor offenses. No need for congestion of our prisons.
Fraud is a minor offence?... we have truly gone to the dogs in Nigeria.

My friend, fraud to Nigeria today is what narcotics trafficking and consumption is to the United States. It is an epidemic.

If we do not attack it with all our resolve the entire fabric of this country will be wiped out with grave consequences for our 'failed' status or not.

I think Barcelona as an institution has over leveraged on the person of Lionel Messi almost absolutely to the exclusion of everything else.

They have the next two weeks to sort out the next decade of their sporting future. If they cannot start a post Messi rebuild immediately then they will certainly enter into a spiral of decay the likes of which Milan and United have recently experienced.

It is clear Messi has subsidised the sheer ineptitude upstairs for many years and the 'foreign exchange reserves' are now depleted.

Barca is very sub par this season

Be rest assured even leipzig would put up a better fight

Barca defense is utter thrash
The defemce has been mediocre for the best part of the last decade since Carles Puyol began to fade. If not for their formidable midfield they won't have a sniff of silverware since.

Hindsight they say is 20/20 but they should have done everthing under the sun to have captured Sergio Ramos from Real when he struggled to establish himself at the Santiago all those years ago.

But they were pig headed insisting on their academy grads. Today La Masia contributes practically nothing to their present exploits on the field.

The trophy is for Bayern. Well organised and with the early league restart the DFB conjured they are well rested as well.

Why are our people so visionless, careless and thoughtless. How will your family, your kids feel when they look at you...daddy crook...

Everyday I just thank God for the kind of heritage I have. They saw all and did all to the very top levels of goverment and private sector in some of the most tempting positions yet till forever no one can lay a single accusation. Not one question, query or skeleton.

What is this young man doing renovating his crib for 40 odd million for in this present economy. Is he going to die there. Is that the gateway to heaven?
