ifyalways: LMAO.My reply would be along these lines. A fully grown man sitting down watching kids play ball, eating a banan on a hot afternoon in Nigeria is an anomaly. Are you a football scout, player's agent, or match commissioner. Because I pass a couple of fields almost everyday but CANNOT find the time to stop and watch. To me those kids are probably building a career so should I. Robbery is devastatingly bad but the percusor is always indolence, a slack hand. Not that this country has everything and we play for 'lack of want' but this country lacks everything. Where people find the time to roam about simply beats me. |
amdman: I just got my wife this lovely Pontiac Aztek and this is exactly the question on my mind. I have never steam washed the engine bay of my Ford Explorer and not inclined towards washing the engine bay of this Pontiac either. But wifey being particular about such things, would love a clean engine bay.Come oh. Why is it that women suggest these crazy things and we pay the price. Better don't try it. My belief is that engine components should be cleaned piecemeal with the right materials and resembled. Any one who can't do that should not be in that business. Blast it with steam or water and you will regret it. I am. |
991: What does she do for a living?Nothing. Her ancestors have done all the work for her. Time we start thinking about legacy in this country. Not the chop and perish attitude of ruminant animals. |
imperiouxx: Tunisia pressurizing Cameroun like hellExpected. The Lions should soak up the pressure and play dead like the Eagles, striking back when least expected. |
zika1: o really? Well u knw d truth is bitter. I'm nt saying I am nt. Happy bout d end result wat I am saying is more ws expected 4rm africa's best. They were far 4rm dier best in 2dai's match. Nd I football u dnt take chances play like u re playing wit the worlds bestWith this you still donot understand Nigerian football. Nigerian teams find it hard to gel on short notice. It is not today this phen. started. From the 80's and especially when our players began the foreign exodus we find it hard to flow after weeks apart. That's why we play better at tournaments and even in tournaments start slowly. This team only came together five days ago. It doesn't work well for us. If CAF wants to see better play they can simulate the european model where they play Friday and Tuesday. There's no reason why we couldn't have played the return leg on Tuesday but 16th of November is just too far. The engine of the team would be completely cold by them. Even Keshi will be off on leave. |
pazienza: Please, you guys should not pay this guy any attention, he just had too much alcohol for his own good and logged online.Yeah. Could remember what went on between the trio of Dan the Bull, Samson Sia1 and the goalsfather himself in the US. Though it was not a tribal thing, I think it may have cost us. Let's be careful here. Tribalism is a sore virus. |
Justeenaleo:New FIFA rule. Pls be informed. |
Meringe: I would have not replied you but I will do it to tell you why I said 75percent of Abians didn't vote.If Abdulsalami stepped down and according to you we still have issues what makes you think that if GEJ steps down the issues will all vanish and Nigeria will suddenly become civilised. The fact that you think change in Nigeria resides in one man, one office, one political or government post shows your scant knowledge of this country or the workings of a fledgling democracy. The condition of this country is an aggregate of the thoughts and actions of EVERY SINGLE NIGERIAN. Yesterday the problem was Yaradua, the day before OBJ, today GEJ. Just continue. Name one man, just one person that you think can turn Nigeria around overnight and I will give you a dossier of their past and present actions that will make us seriously rethink. |
almurtadha: The prices of Ram did not increased only in Ogun. Kaduna state that is even a northern state experiences high cost of rams. People exploits people, later we now shout government, gej, we self no good at all.I totally agree. I don't know whether this is a Nigerian thing but the spirit of the festivities are often overlooked which is sacrifice. It means that even if you can't offer some of your regular profits, maintain prices so that everyone can participate. But everyone exploits, from the bus driver to the market woman. Taking our earthly blessing upfront instead of God's. |
manny4life: Some key parts to reviewWhatever the flap settings were, whatever the conversation or cockpit misunderstandings were, whatever the aircraft was saying. The Captain got that aircraft into the air. I would reconsider these factors if earlier reports that he attempted a return to MMIA are refuted because to return he would have had to reconfigure all these settings and perhaps corrected his mistakes inculding anything to do with the autopilot I dare say. I believe something else brought that plane down. |
Oga, can you back that up with a proof?
He's very correct. They were actually made of leather, brass and even armour grade iron. They were indeed so hedious many died from tetanus and other infections in addition to the sheer agony of blisters and sores they caused. A partner that subjects one to this kind of ill treatment and one that needs it should not be in a relationship. |
There's always this notion of people going about defending their religion, their church. But the truth is that Christianity has nothing to defend because it is not physical or intellectual. It is a faith. It is 'spiritual'. And how can you destroy a spirit. It is impossible. When you reduce your God to bricks and mortar, when you feel the kingdom of God is advancing in proportion to the size of the building, when you are downcast because you've been given a quit notice and your building offerings appear wasted then you may be at the threshold of idolatry without knowing. If you need house, God can give you one anytime, anywhere. May the 'church' focus on its mission - finding missing sheep. |
Wendyslim: . Why dont u confirm from those bible quote before u comment. Please confirm and feed us back cos am equally interestedNo probs. Since we all like bible here we can start from John 1:1. When you get to verse 18 check in again. You will have your answers as to whom Jesus is and perhaps other peripherals. |
Adwexky: An Unpleasant occurrence is just a pathway to a far more better and pleasant one. Please be informed as a christian about what to stick out your faith for and what not to. God will not fight for you on your terms and pander to your sentiments especially when it involves constituted authority so I don't see what new planning regulations have to do with demons and devils. Our attitude as christians to material things including church buildings is to view them as temporal tools to be used and 'loosed'. The God you worship resides in your heart and you are His temple not some edifice made by man that some of us are ignorantly turning to shrines. What did Jesus say when He looked upon the temple mount. |
Marraige is not an amusement park and your husband is not Mickey Mouse or your wife Cinderella so I don't know why enjoyment should be the yardstick of evaluating its success or otherwise. Marraige is an institution ordained by God for the purposes outlined in Genesis 1:28 and 2:18. To me that sounds like a mission rather than a merry-go-round. To me marraige bestows great responsibility on the individuals involved that requires all seriousness, sacrifice and determination that leaves little room for sentiments and diversionary emotions. Marraige has far greater purpose than school, than work, than church, etc. Do you attend these, commit to these, simply because you enjoy them? Or you won't go to work because you don't enjoy working. |
mikeansy: No car has been assembled in Nigeria yet!Hmm. Another Multichoice moment coming up. |
taharqa: I have never commented on this Anambra Election stuff (I hardly comment on pure politics tins on NL anyways) but I have a quick Observation of what I have easily noticed. It is actually more like a question:Because the APC is by its roots a regional party desperately trying to go national but unable to find the right kind of bridges to build hence this turbulence. Politics in Nigeria is not as easy as some think and the 'superstar' status may not fly everyone's kite. |
Eeja Nla01: I remember the good old days of the invincible season,Big, strong, talented players. Before Weng lost the plot and became a nanny. |
No money to jet out to London for medicare. No popularity to appeal to the masses for medical subsidy. This country then turns to a big game reserve and you are game. So sad. RIP. Sorry for Nigeria. |
Just say NO to rotational Presidency. Das why power shift MUST be resisted. |
As I look at the pics my mind keeps on telling me that girl maybe the only daughter of the local mafia don and this may perhaps be the most humane outcome. What else can possibly be responsible for this...castration. |
babyosisi: Chineke God |
Haven't gone through the entire thread but thought some glossy pics of drying paint will be better appreciated. |
Marraige is an institution so the individuals who operate it are secondary to the values the institution require. Thus it is not about what you bring to it but about whether you can attain its demands and there are several. Often we look at just one or two and conclude. I've never seen an educated man who can boast of having read only one or two subjects. There's more to marraige than this. |
ballabriggs: You all can see how evil IBB threw professionalism to the winds and manipulated Nigerian Airways for his own selfish needs. Sadly it is the same issue plaguing most organisations in Nigeria. Leadership! If I tell you what this man did you will not believe it. He single handedly ruined the military. Some of its core institutions are permanently damaged and most of its core professionals he either murdered or sacrificed. Let's not even talk about Military Intelligence. He was very, very bad. |
I also think it could be a question of statistics as much as culinary skills that as a lady, if you put yourself out there your food could generate as much interest as the ace mamas. I've been to a couple of joints in Jos and Benin and I found the experience absolutely terrible so its obviously not the food (we all have different tastes) but the importunity: the cross roads of a hungry people without reasonable alternatives often at the wrong end of culinary maltreatment at home hence develop an overeaching excitement for alternatives outside that are barely better. Thus if you took that 'home meal' that tastes ordinary and place it at that cross-road you could sooner become the next bukka-star. Hmm. |
Joavid: will u allow ur galfrnd/wife to use firewood in ur kitchen?Hmm, my dear, you donot know what good food means to a man. If it is only the firewood that matters surely he will build a fire place in his bedroom. But... |
Joavid: They use over-riped,sometimes rotten tomatoes. So why can't budding wives and girl friends reproduce same results. Or is it a case of 'pls donot try this at home'. C'mon surely there must be more than meets the eye. Could remember one of my uncles back then who would drive all the way from Ikeja to Surulere on a saturday morning like he had been on a diet all week and another top CEO who would have his smuggled to his guest house from across town to avoid the wonder. Both of course happily married. My guess is that if the food tastes better than your mum's or wife's (of more than ten years) then you're done. |
ifebosco: we need a father(goverment) to help us change that mentality, human beings every were in the world need guardlines.which guardlines do we have in nigeria??Yeah, yeah. The government should also teach us how to flush toilets and scrub floors while we can teach ourselves how to manipulate the latest mobile devices and endless gossip forums. Good idea. |
Did business with the man when I lost someone a while ago. Charming man and came across as a consumate professional. Sad loss. May God grant his family the fortitude to bear this loss that is beyond words. |
Rejoice5000: I saw people that jam packed themselves in most of the banks in bayalsa state while coming back from work yesterday evening,i kept asking my self what were they doing during the day that made them not to go to banking hall ad withdraw their money.as 4 me am a Banker no emergency always with money. |
