Kobojunkie: Was this not the same move this same FG made back in 2010?? What is this again? Na every year we dey make move to boost gas supply to the limited plants we even get self? O ga o!!Not all the lines mentioned are new. Some have started quite some time ago. It takes time to complete these projects simply because we donot have a comprehensive energy framework. Who does the connection, NIPP or NGC. Both sides hitherto could not reconcile investment decisions. Personally I feel until the power sector is properly privatised and regulated the NGC will remain lukewarm. They have a mountain of debt owed them by NIPP/PHCN when they can be sending their gas elsewhere. With time these issues will be sorted out. |
There's barely a handful of big game English players. They always have issues at the highest level. Same thing, Rooney almost got sent of against Barca last time around, Scott Parker's always blowing a fuse when under pressure. And to think JT as captain in the Euro's this summer. They just can't handle it. |
Ha, ha, ha. You guys are too much. One of the threads of the year so far. |
Hmm, this sends shivers down my spine. What kind of country is this. Lawyer, well done for the unsolicited expose'. What are your details, perhaps we can talk at an opportuned time. I need some serious armour. |
chaircover: Absolutely, I think its time to start privatizing some of these sectorsHe can land on the Yaradua boulevard (airport road). Its wide and smooth and incidentally built by Julius Berger. The street lights shine like a million stars ALWAYS. Just brake before the Kuje interchange or before you hit a Julius Berger catterpillar. This Julius Berger sef. |
Bawss1: Why is Julius Berger in that list? Do they provide electricity to the airport? They built the damn thing so they will know who's lying when the mudslinging starts. Imagine. Giving the dedicated line to the host community who have been obviously enjoying UPS hitherto. Ha, ha. I'm sure land around the airport will probably be selling like hot beer. |
Maybe George Lucas can answer. He's familiar with this clone business. |
tlops: militants graduated as Pilots? Are you afraid. Don't worry, they have just upped the ante. When government will not do what is right. |
Raxxye: Confusion here!Same here. Thought it was Opera Mini performing a concert on my phone |
Politics is not a fashion parade but a strenous marathon where you run light and you run smart. Anyone from any region thinking the President of Nigeria will be elected on the basis of competence alone is just deceiving himself. The structures of the parties have been established and with the exception of the PDP no progress has been made whatsoever by any other party on broadening its base beyond its regional ramparts thus it is clear that whoever wins the PDP primaries will take the seat. This is so disappointing. When you hear the chorus no to tribal and sectional politics and yes to merit and competence the same proponents find themselves doing exactly what they postulate. If not how come the CPC feels it can win a national election fielding candidates from villages quite frankly sharing the same transformer for the past and future 4 presidential elections and hope to win. If this is not sectional politics, what is. If the CPC is serious about reaching out it should do so. There are competent and corruption free people outside Katsina and Kano. It does matter. If they stick to El-Rufai they are done. The PDP for all its woes has successfully shifted power from the West to the South while CPC is rotating on its axis. I really pity them. El-Rufai for President is another ticket for PDP. Who knows if he is not another OBJ mole. |
Ignatio: I wonder how his parents will take the story.Depends on the club they support. If na Barca, hmm. |
WTF. . .seems you guys have been disturbed by poverty to have actually think the guy beside you is a pauper like you.PEOPLE PAY 650K for the same education in this country and who knows the kind of background this guy hails from to have been able to afford such.Stop thinking he's going to beg to raise money for the fees later !
C'mon Blue, If he's your business partner won't you consider things for a moment. |
FAN A - Acting T - Thoroughly I - In C - Comprehensibly. The guy has clearly crossed the line. When he starts working what else will he morgage. I think employers should pay closer attention to the 'Hobbies & Pastime' reports in the resumes they receive. |
So which set of laws does he think can be used to bring down this hydra-headed monster called corruption. Every where you shoot they shift the goal post. Even with Sharia law we have not exactly seen plane loads of polithieves dashing abroad to have severed limbs re-attached. Hopeless judiciary. |
baslone: The first ever player in Europe's top 4 league to score 40 goals (ITA, SPA, GER, ENG) in 2 consecutiveBoth teams are pushing on the boundaries of the insane and the ridiculous. Surely these statistics are not sustainable. Both players have score close to 120 goals between them in all competitions this season. That is wicked. |
We have a serious integrity problem in Nigeria. We complain that the stock market has tanked while others are recoverin from recession. With this kind of revelation, why not. There is no confidence whatsoever in the financial markets. Everything is fake. I just pity those who hawk all matter of investments. These auditing firms are making their jobs much harder. Only tough laws and tough prosecutions will restore confidence. We are gradually chopping ourselves into extinction. |
rennylaw: I call that leaving the substance and chasing the shadow. When do we want to start getting things right in dis country? Leave audit firms out of this and let's prosecute the subsidy thieves. God bless NigeriaIt is this kind of thing that angers me. What do you mean by leave audit firms out. Were they not paid to check. If they are not complicit, they are grossly incompetent. Will you tolerate this in your private business and allow your suppliers tear you down in full view of the auditors you pay. Well Cadbury and its shareholders suffered similar fate. These criminals should be prosecuted including the bankers that drove the get-away car. Enough is enough. There should be tighter anti-laundering laws in Nigeria because the private sector is nose in trough with some government officials to ruin this country. Nonsense. Utter rubbish. Then they will come out and slag government for corruption. I bet there are members of staff working for those firms who come to this forum to play hypo. |
That man is something, but definitely not God's messenger. I've yet to hear a positive profeces from him.
Well according to this report he says it is a waste of time reporting good news since the people will not listen. Can you imagine that. Since when has the gospel become a populist movement. It will never be popular for obvious reasons but as a preacher his job is to do so anyway. He is spreading bad news to attract attention. That is the tactic of mass media and does not represent the values of the church. Anyway what is the guarantee that those on death row will repent and do good. Hitler slaughtered to the bitter end and gave orders for the execution of Herman Goering and Heinrich Himler just before he shot himself and Stalin was signing execution warrants dying of cancer. Death or its fear does little to reform the damned. TBJ should know this. Old Testament systems don't work anymore ask Noah. Gospel 101. |
yungboss: true talk...but i dont wholesomely agree on your "tello" opinion. Its your view anywaysI agree partly with this just that when you sit back and watch the situation you kind of feel that he is bringing these players in quite too late in the day leaving a quality and experience gap in that team. I will venture same for Puyol and keeper Valdes, if he does not begin to frame proper replacements and get them playing quickly that defence will only worsen. Tello should have come in right from the get go to put away chances like those he missed today. The team is polarising. Not very safe. |
osat02: Barca was really rusty tonight, but since when has losing 2 matches in a roll means the end of an empire and a culture? yes give it to C7 and RM..we are really down but not out, BARCA ALL THE WAYRusty? Really? The truth is the exact opposite. They are burnt out. The mental and physical expenses of win after win, record after record is taking its toll. How do you quite frankly eliminate the role of a top striker and combine it with that of an attacking midfielder and expect peak performance match after match year in year out. That is being naughty. Since Villa's injury he has not been effectively replaced, Barca has not been able to play anything else other than 3-4-3. If they had a proper 9 they could have changed to 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 and not conceeded. Am not just convinced Pep is in full control of that team. |
9jafreak: Mourinho na MasterSaid it quite a while ago. I seriously doubt Pep's tactical ability for two reasons. One, there is never a plan B. It is always about player power, throw players in and hope they can outposses the opposition. When the end goal doesn't come the chap is appears always lost. This causes the second problem, the team and by extension the teamwork is increasingly built around Messi. He is taking far too much importance than an experienced manager should permit. This is strategically dangerous. We know that the powers of Andres and Xavi are on the wane due to age and injury. This does not however mean Messi should play 8, 9 and 10 at the same time. Poor coaching. This has led to the third and obvious result, Messi is burnt. At 24 he's played far too many games at such high intensity that if Pep cannot reform the situation he might just go the way of Patrick Kluivert. Messi needs a rest, the team needs a rest. Success has its limits and penalties. |
GAR3TH: I thought NAF port harcourt handles military helicopters and not jets, its NAF lagos, kano, makurdi that handles military jetsThis is what other reports say. That the munition hit a car demolishing it before punching a hole through the adjoining house. It couldn't have been launched fromthe base to by-pass the whole of Elekhaia, Transamadi and end up in Woji without being air launched. However this brings to the fore the siting of military bases and especially lethal arms and munitions in urban areas. The F18 crash in the US and the Ikeja bomb blast are stark reminders. Whenever I see those gunships flying over Portharcourt fully armed I say its only a matter of time. We remain under the shadow of the military who insist on retaining prime real estate to the detriment of the general public. It took the intervention of OBJ for the Airforce to allow the East-West access in Portharcourt and the Parliamentary Extension in Calabar. Build those areas at your risk. |
obongtunji: BBC said that the plane is 30years old, haba Bhojar airline the plane is old enough to be grounded. May the soul of the departed rest in peace30 years as far as the aerospace industry is not a crime, as a matter of fact it is quite common. Like any mechanical device maintenance is the key. Though it was originally built that long ago, I will be surprised if more than 50 percent of the aircraft has not been replaced over the years. The key maintenance issue to a budget airline is cost. The older the plane the more expensive it will be to keep it flying. So its not the age of these planes that matter but the will to check and maintain them regularly. |
27naira: I heard its ABAHaba, softly softly. Now the rains are in full flow na hovercraft fit that place. |
Wow, this is serious. Accessory to murder. |
otokx: Private matter ke? when he made cash from the sale of vmobile shares owned by delta state. My brother that is the problem with our national economic system based on resource allocation, like the gas being flared, no one cares. Because it is allocation and all you need is a pen and briefcase they don't care how much is lost, afterall tommorrow off to Abuja for another one. If these states were earning income strictly from taxation, investment and royalties what will make them throw their shares away or not seek the recovery of their stolen assets. I've said it countless times, the system we operate is the fuel burning the corruption rocket. And until either the resources are exhausted or we restructure, there's practically no hope. |
konkocious: No one Iڪ representing τ̣̣ђё Northern part ☀̤̣̈̇f Naija, all dis actors aя̩̥̊ε̲̣̣̣̥ from south.Nah, just watch out for the sequel of Hurt Locker. |
Was it not the same pension task force that had its chairman before the House committee charged amongst other things spending some collosal amount (can't remember) sending 50+ officials abroad to authenticate some 30 or so pensioners. Even the IG ordered his arrest for fraudulently using his name to collect estacode. When the doctor catches the infection, what do you do. Corruption has assumed 3rd stage cancerous proportion. In a few years it may become impossible to tackle. The value of the industry will soon outstrip our GNP. |
pistol: The govt need to decongest owerri and they can start by siting this shopping mall in a region where it will be viable |
Missed the entire first half no thanks to a thunderstorm and hail stones but the second half was very Mourinhesque. Park the bus and take prisoners when opportuned. Reminds one of the Intermilan semi final a couple of years back. Chelsea tried, Drogba is a class act, Barca once again has no plan B and for once the ref was neutral. All these factors I don't expect to be repeated at the Nou Camp so I still think Barca will go through. You simply cannot outpossess your opponents over 180 minutes and not score. Chelsea has to work on its counter attack strategies if it will survive next week. |
