OVER A DECADE AGO THEY TOLD ME I'D OUTGROW IT WHILE I MATURE. TO DATE I STILL WONDER WHY ANYONE WOULD LEAVE ALL THERE IS TO DO IN THIS LIFE AND DM RANDOM WOMEN ONLINE, INCLUDING ABSOLUTE SKANKS, ASKING FOR ROMANCE AND AFFECTION, SOMETIMES SPENDING WEEKS BEGGING FOR ATTENTION, WHEN THERE'S A WHOLE BIG WORLD OUT THERE WAITING TO BE CONQUERED. YOU DON'T EVEN NEED TRP TO HAVE BASIC SELF-WORTH AS A MAN. BUT THE LACK OF IT IS SHOWING IN MANY MEN.

THIS LACK, PROBABLY INSPIRED BY THE SONGS AND FILMS OF A BLUE-PILLED SOCIETY, IS THE REASON WHY A HARDWORKING ACCOMPLISHED MILLIONAIRE MAN LOOKS AT A LOW-LEVEL CAREER-LESS UNATTRACTIVE WOMAN AND SINGS PRAISES TO HER TELLING HER HE'S LUCKY TO HAVE HER AND DOESN'T DESERVE A GODDESS/QUEEN LIKE HER.

QUEEN OF WHAT EXACTLY? OF POVERTY AND USELESSNESS? undecided.

No one betrayed em, it's just a normal response to human nature esp when manipulation is involved, Tinubu was trying to guilt trip his men into gathering supports for himself, unknown to em these people are only with em for common interests, he would have done that without that shitty entitled mentality.
As far as I know Yorubas are not sheeples or cows who follows someone blindly.
Is Tinubu disqualified?

its an interesting dynamic over here,, homosexuality being legal means there's a real thriving gay subculture; but is it big enough to inconvenience women? Maybe Yes maybe No. Because gays are by far one of the most successful groups of men I think it's more a case of women being drawn to certain upwardly mobile gents only to realize they're gay. The men they like usually turn out to be homo. I think that's what's happening.

But then there's other factors that are more directly eating away at the prospective male market like the fact that a lot of men are in jail, some hooked on drugs, others chasing alcohol and many just flat out losing interest in dating for whatever reason.

it should be noted that when women complain of a shortage of men , in any country on any continent, they're only complaining of the Beta Bucks shortage. cause women will never run out of men who wanna smash. it's the shortage of men willing to commit which troubles women cause it means many things: eg it means there's no one women can use to correct their mistakes (no step fathers for those alpha's kids), and it means women may have to work till they die since there's no "retirement package" men that will wife them up and support them later on in life.
and in SA it's no different, sex before marriage is a huge norm here with cohabitation exactly like in the US where a girl as young as 20 can just pack her bag and go live with her BF and no one at home bats an eye. so the sex is always plentiful, it's the commitment that's going down the drain, given that SA men have always been commitment-phobic (cause most are raised by single mothers so they never learnt what it is for a man to love a woman since they never had a father figure), its now even worse cause social media and the slow but steady awakening of men to the real nature of women, are all making men see women as short term pleasures but long term headaches. if these men hated commitment before, the hate it MORE now. which is a real dilemma for SA women who find themselves good enough for sex but not good enough for marriage.
there's a complaint that SA women love Money, but let me tell you SA women don't even know what gold digging is. they are one of the cheapest groups of women in Africa. I belong to an exclusive gold diggers group of SA women on Instagram and I'm always laughing at the things they demand and their stories. these are working class women cute as hell but they're literally chasing peanuts. and they just love that dick they'll even turn around and let you golddig them if you're good at sex. lol.

given that commitment is hard to come by, it's a buyer's market out here, you can have the cutest chick for the lowest bride price. bride prices are notoriously low here. which is rather strange cause these girls are hot. but then again most of them drink and like to party.
I could go on..... hope I answered you.
UK is also experiencing the same thing. That's why white girls rush any Nigerian at sight.

I still find it strange that Amber heard hasn't been convicted and the case closed because Johnny Depp has come up with more than enough evidence that he was actually the victim in the marriage.
If the roles were reversed and it was a woman who had the amount of evidence JD had the case would have been closed a long time ago.
The reason the case is still open till date is just so Amber can tell the world what she really is. A cheat. Who would take women serious on domestic violence again? Amber bleeped it for everyone. I am happy she did because after now, her career will spiral downward.

Start with your diet. Cut out crappy junk, fried and sugary foods. Reduce your carbs. Reduce all that swallow and rice wey you like to chop. Stop eating egusi and other oily soups and stew every damn day. Stop drinking beer every day. Cut out cakes, chocolates, bread and biscuits. Cut out soda. And all that sweet poison they call juice. Let your diet revolve around water, fruits, vegetables and lean proteins. Add good carbs here and there. Then hit the gym and speak to an instructor. If you can’t afford a gym, enter google and look for exercise you can do at home. Push ups, squats, sit ups, pull ups, stretching, etc. Then find a good spot where you can run at least 30 minutes every day. If you can’t run, try walking for an hour everyday. If you can’t walk, then find a girl with stamina that can nack you well everyday. Goodluck!
Thank you nna

So one of my guys voiced out his interest in bodybuilding and wanted to enrol in the gym I use. He explained his reasons.. he feels kinda ashamed to off his tops coz of his belly. He also said he desired my shape - triceps, abs, etc grin

So we concluded and I told him I'd call him the next morning when I'm going to the gym. That morning he gave excuses and I went alone. In the evening I received his voice note saying "I don't think I'll be going to the gym. My girlfriend says she loves me the way I am"

Had it been it wasn't a voice note I'd have sent the screenshot here grin

First, I must admit the fact that your dad went too far, his behavior is completely wrong and out of order. I am putting myself in your dad's shoe, I can't treat my own son that way no matter what, God will never allow such behavior or situation to even arise in my home.

Secondly, I am sorry to say that you seem to be a stubborn child, you really need to work on yourself.

How or why are you completely unemployed at 27yrs? For someone that have a capable father that can afford a house in the city? It either means your dad didn't equip you properly for future challenges or you failed to take advantage of the trainings he gave to you while growing up which is how bad children come about.

If you were a good child, at 17 you are done with secondary school, at worst at 25 you are done with higher institution considering the worst educational situation in Nigeria.

With the little I can deduce from your write up, your dad is kinda well to do in his own time, so what happened that you are still struggling to stand on your own at 27? Please reflect on this. The stuff you said you were doing before border closure by Buhari is completely illegal, you were a smuggler and you can be killed by the customs at any time, so that stuff isn't even a job or business to mention, don't even bring it up again please.

You are supposed to be working or doing legitimate business or engaged in a meaningful trade like fashion designing, welding, electrical works, plumbing, etc to earn a legitimate income. You are far better than millions of Nigerians, you have a roof over your head in the city which is what millions of youths are looking for to start a life. Many young people like you came from remote villages to that same city you are living comfortably under your father's comfy house without hope of where to put their head and they toiled legitimately and changed their life and that of their poor parents in the village. But here you and many other fortunate youths with free house in the city are wasting your time plotting foolishly how to hammer money overnight through illegitimate dealings. You better wake up, crime doesn't pay. How did you get money to lodge in a hotel when you have no job? Why was hotel your first abi second option, where did you get the money? Did you even graduate from school your dad sent you?

But here you are with a free house in the city and still cant make something out of your life but went ahead to buy an expensive phone.

Why didn't you use the money to startup a business online or offline? As someone without a stable source of income, you don't need an expensive phone. With my heavy income which can afford me any brand of phone I desire, I am using an average Samsung phone. I have friends who are Naira billionaires also using same phone I am using or lesser one, but most of you Nigerian youths will use your last kobo to acquire expensive phone just to belong or just to deceive your mates that all is well with you.

I have discovered that most children born into middle income families in Nigeria that have access to good life in the city hardly end up successful unlike those of us that came from near poor and poor families, and even those that came from remote villages to the city.

This thread should be a wake up call to all Nigerian parents to please do more work of preparing your children for life challeneges before they even become teenagers. Don't over pamper them. Don't just allow them to be living stupid life as they please and be keeping foolish friends.

Op your dad is seeing the danger ahead, you are planning to join bad gangs or you have joined already. With the little I can read from your write up, I know your type, you will either join Yahoo boys and when you do, your type might end up the ritualists they call Yahoo plus guys or you may end up in one dangerous illegal business. You dont have a stable income and you want to be using an expensive phone for what?

Take this as a challenge to change your ways. It is time to be a man, you need to start fending for yourself by getting a job or learning a craft or selling that phone to start a business or by going to any big market around you to go start market hustling to raise capital to start your own business, that's how Igbo boys raise their business capital when they don't have a helper or a big daddy like you and later most of you will be calling them ritualists or drug traffickers without knowing the pains they passed through to get to where they were.

Go back home and apologize to your father. Then prepare to start your own life and work towards getting your own apartment.

In western world, US for example, you wont be living with your father at 27, even at 20 you must have saved enough from doing vacation jobs while schooling to raise money to rent your own apartment, so at 27, in the western world we are copying you ought to have started your own family.

But in Nigeria, because a man considers himself a big man because he managed to buy 2 tokunbo vehicles and built a house, he sees his children as ajebo and therefore they are not supposed to do menial jobs or vacation jobs while schooling which is why most children from middle income families in Nigeria are damaged and nothing to write home about.

My kids will start doing vacation jobs and start saving after their primary school. either they start doing legitimate online jobs and saving money and also learn to be giving to the less privileged as a way of learning to be compassionate and responsible from the age of 12.

Go back to your father and apologize and go and sell that phone and get an average phone and start something legitimate with your life. Yahoo Yahoo is not a job. You can learn software engineering online via youtube and become a full stack developer that will position you for greatness. stop watching Zazu and Davido and planning how to hammer overnight to surprise your dad. work work work and save and gradually build your way up. Yahoo Yahoo no be work. petrol smuggling no be work.

It is appointed for man for die once, after that is judgement.

Even if all the religious leaders gather to pray for a dead man, the prayer is ineffectual.

Once someone is dead, that is the end of a chance to repent.
If say this truth till tomorrow, they will remain adamant.

I have come to the conclusion that it how they choose to deal with the pain that comes with death. They like to, even I will like to comfort my brain by lying to it that after praying when someone is already dead, God will receive the person in heaven.

There is course mate of mine. We were close friends in school. So there is this day she followed me to my home (because I don't live in the hostel, I rented an apartment outside), I was so hungry so she decided to cook for me. After we finished eating, one thing led to the other and we had sex. This girl is in her early twenties just like me.

Since that day, she never lets me rest. We have been having sex and she told me she has a boyfriend. She comes to my house and we always end up having sex all the time. I have told her enough is enough but she keeps coming. I use protection though.

I blamed myself for letting her know my place
How can I discard this girl totally because as long as she comes, I will keep sleeping with her.

Normal I don't engage in anything serious with these ladies and even to think of fucking them is disgusting to me now. You absolutely do not need a woman for anything. Don't let anyone deceive you.

For those of you who are still planning to marry or date these chicks, use your number six. One advice I can give you is that the girls that engage in these things or even the normal runs will always show the money off. You will hardly see them live below their means. A young lady flexing so much money with a questionable source of income is a big fucking red flag.

Your woman will not be jobless but you know the difference between what is real and what is not. You must know your woman's source of income and it must be something tangible, not online business or any of those nonsense that they use to cover up. Let me leave it here for now.
After someone will marry these ones as love of my life...

Family › Re: Family Meeting Cos Of Wife Advise Needed Pls by Regex: 8:43am On Apr 30, 2022
Sominablack:
Greeting Nairalanders,
My wifes attitude has been unbecoming, disrespectful, avoiding intimacy for months, insultive and always playing the silent treatment which I have learnt to ignore. Her mum visited and confirmed these attitude, she did counsel and advised her to change yet she was reluctant and stated she dont want to continue being a wife that she has lost love and feelings for me because I want things to be done decently and in order in my family which she is opposed to. Having observed this her mum left angrily and told the matter to her husband to confirm some of the issues of my wifes behaviour which I had stressed on and as a result had a family meeting with her family since I was invited not long ago.

Now with the attitude still being displayed by her, her dad asked me to come down to the village by next week so the issue will be discussed in their larger family so that my wife would come and explain to them why she is behaving the way she is doing, but not up to three months we had a meeting and now this one billed for next week again.I dont feel like honouring the meeting because I have done my best to follow peace even though I cannot fathom where I am at fault. At this juncture what do I do?
Come, why don't you guys know how to handle these situations? If she decides to avoid intimacy, can't you have it outside or at least create the illusion that you are if you don't want to. If she is silent, you too keep silent, if she no want cook, oga, it is either you cook, learn how to or eat outside. Even when she cooks, you go and buy your ingredients and cool yours, and stop giving her money for food. It is very simple. Haba!
