If level of education was such a good signpost of how well a leader would perform, Nigeria will be near el dorado by now.

We have had an Obasanjo who you say is more educated than Buhari; we have had a Yaradua who used to be a university lecturer; then we recently had GEJ who is a Ph.D and also used to be a university don.

Let us not forget that the economy was largely managed during their era by no less a person than Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, a harvard trained (abi na oxford sef) and globally acclaimed economist, overseeing the economy. Yet inspite of these eminent and very educated Nigerians running our affairs, we are where we are today....broke and teethering on the precipice of an economic depression.

No my brother! A sound exposure to formal education is highly desirable nay necessary for an aspiring leader. But It takes a lot more than education to run a country, especially one as complex as Nigeria.

It says a lot about the kind of person Chief Dele Momodu is when it took the intervention of another adult to stop him from engaging in roforofo fight with a child young enough to be your son.

It is bad enough that he intervened so publicly to the extent of calling out Davido on social media. He needs to act his age and allow the matter to rest before he disgraces himself further I beg.

He can play the role of an elder and protect his family's interest without necessarily creating an uproar on social media.

Secondly, the DSS never said he was arrested at a brothel. They said he was arrested at the airport road Golden Tulip hotel with a woman, lodged under a pseudonym.

Though the Golden Tulip hotel is rated a star below the Sheratons and the Hiltons, it is very far from being a brothel.

President Buhari NEVER said he would make the country ungovernable for anyone. That was said by Mr. Lawal Keita...a senior member of the PDP.

His statement was a response to internal crisis in the PDP about the candidacy of ex-President Jonathan in the 2011 elections.

Instructively, President Jonathan had all the opportunities of pursuing a case of treason against Lawal Keita after he won the elections but chose not to.

It was an unconditional release from the earlier detention order. It was not a restraining order on the DSS to prevent Mr. Kanu ' s re-arrest and re-arraignment on new charges which is what the DSS has done.

If Mr. Kanu had agreed for his plea to be taken on the new charges of treasonable felony, perhaps his lawyers could have argued a fresh plea for bail. But he gave up that right by questioning the integrity of the court and forcing the judge to stand down from the case.

Mr. Kanu as it stands now is not been held illegally. He is been held for a capital offence pending when the chief judge will reassign the case to another judge so his plea can be taken and perhaps bail requested and granted or declined.

Mr. Kanu himself understands that bail cannot be applied for and considered by the court without his plea been taken and that is why he told the court that he would rather remain in jail than subject himself to a court whose integrity he could not be sure of.

His lawyers know that also. They just choose to play to public sympathy to arm twist the government perhaps.

My question is , are they going to dance to the melody of a superstar singer or dance to sound of a superstar DJ ? Even the huge yearly program The Experience is free, someone should please call this Loveworld ministry aka Christ Embassy to order, reaping off our gullible citizens.

This issue of a gate fee for cross over night at Christ Embassy has become a perennial issue.

The church has explained why they do it and the members understand the reason.

In my honest opinion, if the people who pay are doing so without complaining, I say let the matter rest.

Apart from the king sized dining table and the number of people surrounding it, I do not see anything that is on that table that won't be on mine if I want to eat with my family or friends.

To be sincere, 114 million naira budget for food in the presidential villa is not so bad considering that most times when the President eats, he most likely will do so with guests both foreign and local. Except if we are just looking for reasons to ridicule the government.
