Who did this to Nigeria youths, it shall never be well with him or her, truely i must apologies to president Buhari for calling him out when he called Nigeria youths lazy, Nigeria youths are not only lazy but student and useless.

We have other pressing issues in this country but what did the youth march for? BBN votes.

A litre of petrol is #162, electricity cost increased, unemployment nnd poverty on the increase, rape, insecurity on the raise, but Nigeria youth can only march and mobilze people for a reality TV star.

The angel that adviced God to bring me to Nigeria, i am waiting for you.
EducationRe: Fg And ASUU Finally Reached An Agreement, To Call Off Strike In 24hrs by Saintinoo(m): 10:02am On Sep 25, 2020
kane10:
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU)   called off its strike on wednesday,23rd September,2020 after reaching an agreement with the Federal Government.
The ASUU President, announced after a meeting with the union’s executive committee that they would suspend the industrial action for one month till end of October. According to Professor Abiodun, this was to allow Government enough time to fulfill its promises as contained in the recent agreement with them. To this end, the union directed university lecturers to resume duty effective from monday 28 September, 2020.
The union had embarked on an indefinite strike on 11 March, 2020, following Government’s failure to implement the agreement reached with the union in November 2016 and to implement UTAs
Sources in the Labour Ministry indicated that ASUU’s decision to suspend the strike was reached after four hours closed door meeting with the Federal Government delegation led by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige.
At the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the union’s President, Professor Abiodun and Dr. Ngige on behalf of the federal government. Others who signed the document were: President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade AyubaWabba; Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Architect Sonny Echono; Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, Mr. Bolaji Adebiyi; as well as other members of the government team.
Highlights of the agreement reached included funding of government universities, payment of earned academic allowances, government responsibility as regards academic staff schools (primary wing), pension matters for professors, payment of salary shortfalls on which implementation has already commenced and resolution on exemption of Treasury Single Account (TSA) payment system in certain areas.
In his reaction, Dr. Ngige said the grey areas were conclusively dealt with to the satisfaction of both parties which he attributed to the spirit of give and take exhibited by both parties with great acknowledgement of the economic situation of the country.
Expressing hope that ASUU would call off the strike, the Labour and Employment Minister said: “ASUU will go back to consult its organ with a view to calling off the strike. We hope to hear good news from them in the next 24 hours so that our children can go back to class. They got nearly everything they wanted”.
Reacting, ASUU President, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi said:  “Government will hear us in the next 24 hours. It could even be less than that because our members are waiting for us”.
Professor Ogunyemi, who promised that the union would not rest on its oars until the country’s university education system is transformed, said it was high time Nigeria returned  to the era of being an educational tourist destination for other African countries. He appreciated the Labour Minister and his Education counterpart, as well as other stakeholders that were involved in the series of consultations that resulted in the milestone reached through the signed agreement.
Meanwhile the Monday Bulletin team had reported in the last edition of a possible end to the strike with the union agreeing to consider the Federal Government’s offer at a meeting held on Thursday 24thSeptember, which lasted for about 13 hours in Abuja
I know this news is fake but i like it, by the time it goes viral, it will draw they attention of both FG and ASUU, the both parties with react to it maybe they can now agree to meet and solve their issue. Yeye country.

I know this will either end in Sacking of some lecturers or ousting the Vc out of office.
This is not unilag, it is a state univerisity, the VC is doing what governor told him to, if the lecturers fail to resume back to work, expect COOU to be the third state varsity without an ASUU chapter. Yahaya Bello treatment.

What business can one invest #2m in Naija, and be sure of #80k interest monthly. whether rain fall, sun shine ooo, COVID-19 dey, dollar increase or dollar fall ooh, atleast #80k every month but excluding online trading(bitcoin, forest or bush trading etc).
I need advise from married men and women.
Thanks.
There is something you guys don't get, you don't just start making profit of 80k in first 3 to 6 months of starting a busines, business is meant to grow and expand first before the huge profits start coming, so this question is wrong, just look for a business you can manage very well and start then try and grow it, the money will flow later.

When fulani man is on power, that is what you expect, instead of his dead ministry to provide avenue for farmers to produce more than demand, thereby storing some for dry season he is asking them not to sell the little they harvested so that there will be scarcity and the price will keep increasing.
A typical fulani man think everyone should become a farmer inorder to feed. No wonder Buhari asked every Nigeria youth to go back to farm. Ndi ala....
FamilyRe: Ladies What Will You Do In This Situation? by Saintinoo(m): 9:58pm On Sep 19, 2020
Missis:
Assuming you are married to a man who works as self employed selling some wholesale items that fetch him 70k every month and you have three kids with him.

Meanwhile you the wife work in a private institution earning 60k as well as selling things online that fetch very little like 10k to 15k everymonth.

So you have adviced him to get something else doing to augment your joint income because the money both of you make is barely enough for both of you and three children. You suggest you both need to add more sources of income to your present jobs to move ahead in life and advance, send your children to better schools, maybe build a house, to just upgrade yourselves generally.

So after suggesting different jobs for him he refused to do anything else except his wholesale business because he believes one day he will suddenly make it big from selling his market.

You give up and start your own third business which is part time catering and start making some considerable amount of money from it so you buy new clothes, shoes, nice snacks for your kids from time to time.

Your husband sees all this and tells you to also buy gifts for him from your 'plenty' money. Tells you to not buy new things for only your kids but you should buy also add his own.

How will you react please?

This isn't a made up story please. It's very true, I just want to know if the way I responded was reasonable or if I was wrong.
Just tell us you are the person in this situation, what is it with the assumption and assumptions, are we in mathematics and economics class?

Well, no vex, i have nothing to say.

The thing is Nigerians are too fucking hypocritical. They talk with both sides of their mouth.

On one hand, they'll castigate the likes of hushpuppi, while on the other side they'll indirectly criticize people doing honest work cos they don't make much.
It's almost like they're trying to insult people's intelligence.

It's in this same nairaland that a young guy who finishes poly and got a job as a firm supervisor or something, I really can't recall, but the nigga was comfortable and wasn't begging, yet over 80% of people who commented were castigating him, telling him to hustle and how he wasn't doing enough.

Make e go tif? Abeg we deserve our leaders joor. Most of the people criticizing the government are only pissed off cos they're not getting a piece of the cake. Give them and they would Praises that even David would be shocked.

One thing I've come to understand is to pay attention to what people don't say and not what they say

I dey vex abeg! We're too hypocritical (OP, even you and I are not spared). If we don't fix our mentality, Nigeria will be the same in the next 50 Years
The guy was working as a factory supervior, earning around 50k, and wanted to marry a rich man daughter who both fell in love. Nairalanders who were broke, unemployed bullied this guy.

People should stop bringing their problems online, just search for others experince and learn from it.

If Jesus had replied all his critics with words such as bastard and mad dog, these same people defending Eneche and co will never had been Christains today.

What moral lesson are you teaching as a pastor, will Eneche and other pastors calling DF names still go on the alter and preach forgiveness, love, peace?

What did the Bible which they preach from say about names calling, they even did that on the so called holy alter.

KimVenom:
The Federal Government on Thursday said September 21, 2020, has been set for the reopening of Tertiary Institutions, Primary and Secondary schools in the country.

The federal government disclosed this in a statement by the Minister of Education Adamu Adamu at the end of this week’s federal Executive Council meeting.

Adamu Adamu also said stakeholders were expected to continue to put protocols in place towards the reopening of schools according to the guidelines set by the Federal Ministry of Education.

According to him, all schools in the country are set to resume in phases with effect from Monday, 21 September for a completion of first semester examinations for tertiary institutions and abridged third term of the 2019/2020 academic session for Primary and Secondary Schools.

The statement read in part: “Having conducted an assessment of schools within the country to ascertain the level of preparations for general reopening of schools in the country, the federal government has scheduled schools to resume from the COVID-19 break on September 21st for a completion of first semester examinations for tertiary institutions and abridged third term of the 2019/2020 academic session for Primary and Secondary Schools, which is expected to end on October 30, 2020
Fake news, nothing of such was said by the minister.

Realistically, some are better than others.
That's why you have rankings, grading and rating scales which also is same for humans.

Except you also mean to say that all Nigerian graduates the same huh
I beg to disagree, NUC have not ranked Nigerian universities for the passed 15 years or more, there is nothing different about Nigeria public universities, same lecturers, same facilities, the only difference is the effort individual students put in.

I have gone around almost 10 Nigeria public universities and i didn't see any difference, same overcrowded class are found in all of them, you will still find lazy lecturers who uses 2010 handout to teach in 2020, i still insist that the only difference is the effort individual students put in making themselves exceptional among others.

Go to schools such as Borno state university, you will see a student that is good than someone in UI, same applies to students in UI.

So the difference is the students, just like you pointed out that graduates these days are not employable.
