You understand that women are the gatekeepers of sex, right?

Evolutionary biology has made us understand that the woman bears most of the consequences of unplanned pregnancy: 9 months of changing physiology, difficulty of labour, and time it takes to raise a neonate (years) to a child.

The male only cares about depositing semen and his job is done.

That's why it seems like females are been held at a higher standards of responsibility, and they should, because they bear the most risks of pregnancy in cases where the father is not ready to commit resources for the care of the mother and child.

It's not fair; but such is life.
Soooooooo, men are the gateknockers of zex, right?

Typing as a female. I wouldn't like to undergo these series of tests and medical procedures. It's emotionally draining.
Just put yourself out there, pray to God and have faith. You will find someone suitable.

More than 80% of Nigerian parents are angry birds grin
Too proud to apologize, that's the Nigerian parent right there.
It's your job to forgive them, pander to them and take care of them in their old age because they "suffered for you".
Anyways, I will do right by them because I'm a child of God, not because of their persuasive power.

Righteousness89:
Irrespective of Whatever people will say , will not say or whatever, There are truths that we must know..

1. We All have a Creator, that created us and we all Must, irrespective of Whatever you believe, Give Account to Him

2. You and I did not and cannot create a life. The Life in us is not our own.

3.It is a Privilege given to us as humans to carry a Being as s child.. it is a Gift! It is given! You have no right to take the life

4. No matter how the Whole World views abortion or tries to modify it, Abortion is Wickedness! It's Murder! It is Sin Against GOD!

5. There are Consequences for what we do! Let's Fear God and Respect God in our doings! Its Fearful to fall into His Hands..

6. When you go into a sexual immoral relationship. That is fornication. When you Abort the product of that act it is Murder!

7. No Matter what people say , don't yield to the devil! When the Consequences, the people who pushed u to the act will not be there with you.

8. The Consequences is always Greater than the act.

Let's be Guided!

The consequences are the stigma you place on the females while you leave the males off the hook.
Why don't you teach your boys to keep their instruments in check or at least use protection?
Is the mercy of God not a truth?
What about compassion?
The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy.
Stop being one sided.
STOP MISREPRESENTING GOD

Family › Re: Is It A Must To Perform The White Wedding After The Traditional Wedding? by Saintmary(f): 10:42am On Jul 09, 2020
Twenty8:
Is the white gown, the fancy tuxedo, the large crowd necessary, ever since I was born, I have witnessed this extravagant and loud wedding style being performed after the traditional wedding. After the traditional wedding people go home and come back for this loud wedding at the church, and then spend a lot on a huge reception, so i have questions in my mind about this wedding.
1) Is it a must?
2) Can't the church just bless the traditional wedding instead and everybody go home?
3) Is it more important than the traditional wedding?
4) Isn't the marriage complete if the couple hold just the traditional wedding?
5) Can't they sign the papers at the traditional wedding?
6) Can't everything end with our own traditional wedding style?
7) Does something bad happens if the white wedding is not held?
8} What do women think of not holding the white wedding?
10) What do men think of not holding the white wedding?
11) Is it true that the white wedding is a European culture and not our own?
11) If the church were to disagree on a couple not doing the white wedding, should the traditional wedding be held without them?

I have a lot of questions but I can't finish them because of time.
White wedding is not part of our culture.
For Pentecostal churches, a couple is ineligible for wedding in church if they are found to be pregnant before joining. So, if you skip church wedding, it is assumed that you are pregnant. If you can't afford large crowds, invite only few people.
Traditional wedding honors the people who raised the bride. In my personal opinion, you should do it first.

And I choose not to answer because the intonation of your question suggests bias and it would not add value discussing our personal lives on someone else's thread. Like i said which I will reiterate, if she can't continue, she should dissolve the marriage through divorce.
Oh yes, I am biased. Why?
I am biased because people remember for better or worse when women are in situations like this, but if it were the other way around, they will pat the man in the back.

needanswer:
this question is open to male and female commentators. we want the male child to do better but how?
Teach him to:
1. Pick up after himself: For example, his biscuit wraps, have him drop them in the dust bin. Let him place his plate in the kitchen by himself after eating. Let him put his used clothes, socks, panties in the laundry basket. Make sure you place these baskets at a stable location.
2. Be courteous: Say thank you anytime he's given any food, or if anything is done for him. Like when mummy helps him with his buttons, thanks should follow, if daddy buys him biscuits, thanks should follow, et c. He should learn to say please if he wants anything, not to demand. Say, sorry if he spills anything or steps on anyone. Also, excuse me if someone is in his way or he sneezes.
Every child should be trained regardless of their gender.
Training kids takes work, it's a lifetime job, you have to:
1. Be present
2. Don't change what you're teaching them.
3. Don't give them loopholes, trust me, those kids are smart.
3. Be kind, approachable, firm, open to them.
If you can stick to these few things, you'll have for yourself well behaved kids.

Danielfx:
My ex girlfriend was everything i ever wanted in a woman. It's so sad i lost her to another dude after all that we had together. She was kind, romantic, caring and available. I had no boring moments with her and even through her family wasn't doing well financially she never bothered me with her problems, as a fact, she always assisted me with the little she got because she believed i ought to have expenses as a student...

Our love was perfect but along the way she cheated and started hating me. Well, i tried all i could to get her back but all my efforts couldn't get her so i gave up on her. On the other hand, my current girlfriend bombards me with her financial crises, from Body Cream to House rent, she has no financial sense and always want big things even though she can't afford them. She's a student like me, but imagine a girl that can't boast of her own 100 naira demanding a bathing soap worth 12k while i use 420 naira bathing soap.

Her demands are getting me nuts and i have dreams, plans and even projects that require money but how can i get my projects or plans done when i keep giving her money, taking her out, sending her card, paying for everything in her life even though i am a student.

I have no problem supporting my girl, the only problem i have is that i don't think i love her( i can't be too certain in matter of the heart) and she demands a life far more than her current standard. I find it hard to dismiss anyone from my inner circle because i only keep few people around so loosing anyone always make me think and worried for sometime which is something i don't want this period.

I don't even know what to do. I discussed with my female bestie yesterday about getting a better girl. A girl i can plan life with, that is concerned about me and doesn't exploit me with emotional blackmail, turned out my bestie does thesame to her boyfriends as well. I don't even know if those type of valuable ladies exist anymore...

Please i need your words of wisdom..
Have you considered dating your bestie?
Since she is the kind of sacrificial person you like.
Don't drag a relationship you are no longer interested in.

Family › Re: Are Illegimate Child Considered Legitimate Even After The Parents Latter Married by Saintmary(f): 12:58pm On Jul 08, 2020
coputa:
The Nigeria law recognises the legitimate and the illegitimate child. In section 42(2) of the 1999 nigeria constitution(as amended) conferred equal inheritance rights on the legitimate and illegitimate child, a distinction without any legal consequencies. The Igbo native law and custom which deprives children born out of wedlock from sharing/benefit of their father's estate is conflicting with section 42(2) of the 1999 constitution of the federal republic of nigeria(as amended)
So, this implies that so long as you aren't sired by an Igbo man or your child is not his. Legitimacy has no legal consequence for you. Got it.
