I wouldn't have had problem with it if it is the same modus operandi that was deployed against terrorist, bandits and marauding herdsmen. But, upholding the law for one and bending the same law for another when they have committed the same crime is the definition of INJUSTICE! If good thing is done with bad intention, that is the definition of EVIL You choose to look away at one person's offence but look into it when another person commits the same offence and you make us believe you are being sincere is the definition of HYPOCRISY. All the above are the characteristics of this administration. The insecurities in the land need to stop but, a holistic and not selective approach needs be adopted. I rise |
Reading through the news, I'm still looking for their offence! Which law have they broken? Legitimate business people doing their legitimate business now o. If things go south now and they joined to pick up arms, before the presidency that you claimed sent you, you people would have collected. #FreeTheInnocentVendors. I rise |
Let the politicking continues. After all, effective governance is alien to them. Permutations for next election has started when we've not been able to define the direction of this administration! Really still waiting to see when Edo state will really be able to put a squarepeg in their square hole of governance? I rise |
Simplyleo:Are you sure? But they should give amnesty to bandits and pave way for abubakar shekau to become president since Isa Pantami can be a minister in the country! Who really did this to us as a nation? I rise |
I wonder the kind of country we are in? What exactly is their issues which was never said but they resorted to picking up of arms? The Ipob are making their demand peacefully although with insults and sometimes unprintable adjectives, but without arms they were called terrorist! I wonder what is the meaning of terrorism again? They were do organized that they have big people speaking for them haa, what a country! The earlier we realized we've had enough of one another and it's time for us to shake one another hand and say goodbye, the better! 2023 election cannot solve the mirage of problems created already! I rise |
A testimonial of the sad reality of what our nation and society had become! Can't blame the author rather the system that produces her likes. Unfortunately, we all are guilty for what our society had become! The earlier we recognize this sad reality and change for better; it can only become worse! I rise |
I'm glad they came out to say this. They are seeing the reality already and are feeling the heat hence, the need to come out and threatening eat as if there has been a time they have not been killing at any slightest opportunity! The truth on ground is Nigeria nationhood cannot be renegotiated, we have gone beyond that stage. Dissolution of this unholy deal is the tangible reality. See their deceit again, using a Christian middlebelt man to talk to us as if the middlebelt is still with them! When they wake up to the reality on ground they would discover they've been on their own for long! I rise |
I desire youths in government and governance but not those that will not know why they are voted in the first place. Credibility, capacity to perform, understanding of the Dynamics of governance in Nigeria, understanding of the problem of Nigeria and proactive blueprint to tackle them head-on, desire and determination to do the right thing irrespective of whose ox is gored should be what to look out for in any candidate presenting him/herself not any mundane sentiment again. I rise |
I wonder when our leaders will stop being clueless! Imagine a governor's wife saying this. If you don't know that the reason your husband is voted in to power is to solve that very problem and if he can't let him and his likes across the country resign and let prolific and proactive people emerge or is it that Nigerians are this dull? I'm not getting something clear here! Nonsense. Praying again and again after God had long answered the prayer! I rise |
I joined to condole with the assemblies of God church family. A member of the church when this man was the GS. It's all about heaven consciousness, the Sunday School manual super and refreshing. May his gentle soul continue to rest in peace. And hope every AG member will use this as an opportunity to forgive each other, forget about the past and forget a forthright future for the church. May God uphold us all to the end! I rise |
The network I'm creating time out to Port away from to better one. Nonsense network! I rise |
Is this a cry due to guilty conscience or crocodiles year to save face, you sent the forms to both trees and cows in Fulani enclaves due to insufficient human being to make use of the forms but packaged both known and unknown gunmen to them in the east. Isn't it someone that is safe, secured and in peace that thinks of investment. CBN should keep deluding herself and her paymasters. There's always a time for everything! I rise |
Imagine! See wickedness, such company can't say she's not making profit at #2600. In the light of this, cement price ought not to be up to #4000 let alone of being more! Way forward: government should break the Monopoly in that section and open up the business to interested investors to drive competition in pricing and in quality. Aside for political reasons, it is a win-win for the government and the masses. I rise |
Thank God for social media! The public should not back down on this demand. So many carelessness and negligence of medical practioners are in the grave and unfortunately, more are joining because the situation has not changed! #justiceforPJ #sayNoToMedicalNegligence I rise |
What I see is just a throwing of stones between two failed governors. Sometimes I wonder why we vote the people we voted as leaders or Is it that they got to office and forget why people voted them! Because these two men needs to be asked what is the fundamentals of governance and tell them to mark themselves based on the reality on ground if they are a success or a failure or rather will any multinational company employ them as a manager based on their performance as a governor? Nigeria is in a sorry state! I rise |
Good the southwesterners are showing good examples in such a case, only that it should not end at just running away from your public office but to concentrate on facing the charges against you to come out clean or face the consequence. Mind reorientation is vital to revamping this country if we still choose to be together; while it will be a veritable tool in nationbuilding if we choose to go our separate ways. I rise |
Until we are really ready to free ourselves from the economic slavery the government has subjected the citizens to, little or nothing can be done. Still on it, renegotiating our nationhood will solve do many problems beyond count, because it will be the birthing of a new nation where real issues will be addressed head-on. I rise |
My condolences to baba Adeboye and his family, the entire Redeemed Christian Church of God and to his immediate family. May God give them the fortitude to bear the loss and may the departed one find rest in the Lord. Let's live our lives in expectations and preparation of this reality. Only Jesus can save, there is no other. I rise |
I doubt if it's true. No source. But It will be great if it's true. Anyway, fingers crossed. I rise |
how I wish they could do more than they did! their perception of you was so right that assuming they followed it through, we would have been saved of some headaches we are having because of your negative tendencies! I rise |
it was that same generation that made Nigeria what is it today.
they enjoyed all the goodies of the nation in their time and set the rest on !
anyway rip to her. may her work follow her. I rise |
waiting patiently for the outcome of their meeting. hope they will not be forming political correctness and calling on president Buhari to solve the problem. maybe something good is in the offing! I rise |
fingers crossed! I rise |
at least, a good and refreshing news in recent time. but I would have appreciated an action plan included in the write-up. osinbajo is really doing his job. let them make it materialize in good time. I rise |
whao! great and educative. big thumb up to you. I rise |
when will Africans open up their minds? civilization is at jet's speed yet they refuse to get outta their stoneage mentalities. I'm short of words! I rise |
the situation is both pathetic and alarming! crimes don't pay no matter the colouration. that being said, not justifying them anyway, but the society that produces and sustain them is to be blamed. imagine marriage and family institution destroyed, religious institution messed up, educational institution dead and buried societal values and norms washed away. how exactly do you expect this young ones that are not really discipled to be disciplined? we cannot eat our cake and have it. the results of the irresponsibility of the previous generation has come to live with us. so, stop complaining and live with it now while correcting the errors in the upcoming one's. I rise |
it's not everyone you can force to accept your fanatism. El rufai is getting a douse of his medicine. imagine people that neither wanted to see you not hear you, how will you campaign to them to vote you? politicians need to learn a lesson from this man's predicament and to think this is just 2021? imagine what will start coming out wrt to this man prior 2023? I rise |
this is the reason I keep saying that 2023 election is not the solution to the problem of this nation. imagine Obj that hasn't said anything to the president over the killings and general insecurity in the nation busied himself with searching for a candidate that will be a pun in his hands as president in 2023! I keep saying it: nothing good can come out of this nation as it is presently structured. the military came and could only damage things, PDP came trying to change the narrative but made it worse! we thought the party at the center is the issue but on changing to APC, they are confused beyond words that they have set the house ablaze with them inside! what we have not tried in building this country is real renegotiation of our nationhood which we either face now or everything collapse. do not be deceived; the center can no longer hold. I rise |
let Liverpool leave the three points for Man u and let them start their rebuild plan now and not later. we need to get back to our fighting spirit and consistency. forget about this season, it's gone already? let them start working to reposition the team against next season. Proudly YNWA! I rise |
watching the call for oduduwa nation in a distance for now, when the going gets direction, we'll know what to say. as for Biafra, the handwriting on the wall of presidency ticket of any of the two major parties not going to the Southeast has strengthen the call for Biafra recently, let either of PDP or APC gives it ticket to them and you won't hear Biafra again till another time. also the nepotism and federal government sponsored genocide against the citizens is enough reason for any group to agitate for self determination. in all, by this time next year some equations will start balancing and we will all know where we are heading to. but before I go, remember, 2023 election is not the solution if this current structure is still in place.
