Don't mind her. So many people channel their frustrations towards beating their kids or in the case of a teacher, his or her students.

After crying to the extent of rolling on the group. Hyprocritism at its peak! When the child was found, a neighbour in front of the parents told him that neXt time he is about to be flogged he should run to his house and he is capabele of taking care oh him. This woman opened her mouth and said "take him oh, I'm tired sef". I was so angry.

Anyway, I made an imortant point tat day. People always say "leave me alone, afterall he is my child and not yours". I said clearly that from that day, I should never hear that child cry because she didn't look for him alone in the name of "my child". I was out till 12, at 6:30am I was out again and I missed a special service in church. We all suffered that day because a child doesn't belong to his parents alone.

Be concerned about kids. Help them cross the road. Ask questions. Pay their fare in the bus. They should sit in the middle of the bus or keke. Some of them can sleep off and fall sef.

We are just carried away in our little world where we act like we have the greatest challenges ever without thinking about others.

bellong: The summary is not hypocrisy, it is selfishness. An average Nigerian is selfish and care less about the welfare of his/her fellow.

It is even so bad in religious circles where you hear some selfish and ridiculous prayers. All for personal gains. There is total lack of love in people. Nobody cares about anybody except it has to do with bad news. People will rather come to your aid to take honor for helping you out of trouble than helping you prevent such horror and trouble. The help may not even stem out of sincere love.

Why do we have problems in the country that seems unsolvable despite endless prayers of people? The truth is we are the problems of ourselves, the government accounts for a minor percentage.

It is in the same country you will see civil servants expecting you to grease their palms before doing what he is paid to do. Same country you will find custom and law enforcement agents allowing dangerous substances, weapons and materials to pass security check after monetary power exchange hands.

Your description is what we get when people strive for what do not matter but place emphasis on ephemeral things. As individuals and collectively as a country, there is need for a value re-orientation. We need to understand and place values on life and what matters. Until then, your concern will remain the same.

nikky341: sometimes I wonder if people are actually watching this show. Melvin and Beverly are actually working 2 gether. They just don't want 2 be ovious so as not to be a target. If u watch the fight when Beverly went 2 separate fight she was holding elikem first and only followed nando 2 calm him. and she did not diss elikem when she was trying 2 calm nando. Infact am happy dat she was with nando cos . The oneal's would have been on another w/ a alliance. And yes Beverly and nando's feelings 4 each other is mutual. Remember she has nominated him b/4. Lastly I think the largest alliance in the house is Melvin, delish, Beverly, and bimp 4 now.
