In my days in CE, as the secreetary of a haven chapter, there were brethren who didnt have the money to give but had passion for soulwinning, but whenever IPPC came around, their hardwork is forgotten; some of them go as for as borrowing money to make up so they can attend and some of them don't go at all to avoid embarrasment.

you wanna know about the N100,000? call your colleagues in Lagos, PH, Abuja etc

Just in case that information hasn't reached you now it has so you better go empty your lean broke a*ss bank account! I have attended 3 IPPC's and I belonged to the one of the largest CE branch in Nigeria; last year IPPC you were required to have given up to N50,000 but this year it was increased to N100,000.

Everybody used to go, but since number of people increased ,there was need for restriction, so only few delegates are sent in from churches  so that at least every church is represented. So it's not an issue of preference .

Tithing was a revelation of God to men of faith. It doesn't have to be a law. It's a worship. Offering also is a worship by the revelation of God, prayer also is by the revelation of God. They all have their benefit. If you don't believe in tithing , no qualms, you only miss the grace and benefit that goes with it . The the high point of the 'show' is the award ceremony where top givers are rewarded with plaques certificates and 'presidential' handshake while others look on and applaud. In CE, cell leaders, PCU and PCF leaders slave all through the year bringing more customers members to the church but hard work in CE means nothing unless you give money so all you need to do to come so close as getting a handshake from Chris is give give give and give in millions.

IPPC means International Partners and Pastors Conference, its held annually in lagos and draws attendance from CE pastors and partners from several countries.
In CE Nigeria, partners whose cumulative partnership givings for the year has not reached a particular amount would not be allowed to register. For instance last year, the minimum amount was N50,000 but this year, you have to have given a minimum cumulative of N100,000 between the last IPPC and now to be eligible.

Look I dont buy this BS of we need to preach the gospel, Do you ask yourself why CE does not go to Somalia, they flew past poor African countries who can really benefit from the GET RICH and Prosperity gospel and landed in the land of HONEY South Africa, England, America, Australia etc etc. Ask yourself why? The faith that you CE members have should allow you to realise that God does NOT need your money for ANYTHING! God does need anything from you to have His word preached. I was on phone for over two hours with a dear sister from CE Lagos last night and part of the subject of our discussion were the words in red above. I told her how that many Nigerian churches would establish big branches in big countries whereas back home, they cannot boast of their influence in any other state beyond their headquarters. some of them are in it simply for the money.
