So I’m looking for a good way/means of investing up to N1m. I currently don’t live in Nigeria (though I still have family and friends there, so keep in mind I won’t be able to manage a business there in person), and I’ve been looking for the best investment to do with N1m.”

I send money home every month, so I thought it would be best if I can have an investment in Naija that could generate maybe N300k to N400k monthly, so that I don’t have to send money home anymore. The N1m for investment/business is flexible, that means I could do past the N1m if necessary. I need only solid suggestions please.

Forget structure, rich and powerful men owes big and structured companies and there is little they can do except long and expensive legal tussles to get their monies. Rich men owe big and structured banks billions of naira and the banks beg to get their money. AMCON was created to banks recover loans that banks banks could otherwise not recover.


A former Group Managing Director of NNPC owed me for job done at his residence and his wife's office. What do you expect me to do? I asked someone he respects to beg him for me. It was the day he was taking his whole family to London on holidays he felt pity for me and paid me my N250,000 owed. Do you want me to tell you about a SAN (Senior Advocate of Nigeria) that owed me for 8 months.

Now, I don't allow people to owe me. I must collect my money 100% before final delivery of any goods or services. This I state in all my contracts. If the clients don't accept it, then it's bye. I cannot go through the stress and humiliation of begging for my money again.

I have over 20 years exoerience of running my own businesses, and I can tell you that from exoerience it is the very rich and wealthy that owes the most. In fact very wealthy and powerful people pay their workers very poor. If I tell you the calibre of people that owed me as little as N300,000 for up to a year before I got my money, you will not believe it. It was the main reason I had to close down my construction company I was running.


This is not a civil case for a rent tribunal but a criminal case of illegal entry and burglary. Taking someone's property without permission or court order is theft.

That's your own excuse. The landlord denied entering the tenants apartment and insisted the tenants load was taken by his brother.



The landlord did not beat him to any game. The OP is probably too timid or too broke to take on the landlord. Any landlord that tries this with someone a stubborn tenant would pay a huge price.

The six months start counting from the day you acknowledge receipt of the quit notice and not from the day your rent expires. If the landlord had not giving him quit notice, then the six months has not started running.

Hello guys, I'm new to posting on this forum so I don't know the best section this post should be.
As I type this, I'm currently sick and there so much anger and pain within, I haven't been able to eat or drink since I got the news from my neighbor who told me that my landlord came to the house with a strange face, broke the locks to my apartment and packed my things out, I sent a relative to confirm and she said everything is outside but he went with my TV set.
I called the landlord to ask what he has done, he blatantly lied telling me I sent my 'brother' to clear my things off the apartment that he has reported me to Police.
Yes, I owe him 8months rent and I've away for 13 months even before the last year rent I paid expired. I told him I'll be back by November and I'll pay once I get in.
Pls even though I owe him, it doesn't feel right stealing my property and throwing the rest in the rain

Edit: while I'm not absolving my self of the guilt that I owe the landlord this long and purely due to loss of job (covid19 problems) and there's no way I go there and get my stuff without paying the backlog. I wanna seek advise on behalf of my parent. My dad is a road side mechanic while Mum is a petty trader. Dad is 55yrs while Mum is 52yrs. I wanna ask what type of Business can I set up for my parent based on the Economy growth of the country.

I resigned on September 30 2021 and my boss has delayed my salary for the past 13 days now. I have tried to call him but he didn't pick my call.
I sent him messages on WhatsApp, he refused to respond despite reading it.
This is one of the reasons why I resigned...delays salary till on the 10th or 15th.
I have to call to remind him of my salary. It's highly tiring.
I think I made a mistake of resigning before collecting my salary
Note this man is very rich...the company account balance is in hundreds of millions. So no one can tell me 70k salary is an issue for him.
I am currently battling with cankersores and I need money to take care of myself.

I am thinking of going back to the office and take one of the laptops and sell it.

This is very unfair.

It's an experience worth having .
I was opportuned to get a job with industrial cleaning company in Lagos . We clean houses of rich men before the they pack in .That was how I entered houses of rich men and celebrities in Lekki, Victoria Island Eko Atlantic etc.

I have entered Don Jazzy house , Ay Comedian, 2 face. Etc. More of non celebrity super rich billionaires.

I cried when I entered one Igbo guy house his name is Frances. I asked God one qestion " Lord why are some people so rich while some people are so poor in the same country"

Some churches in Lagos island runs on 24 hour electricity . Example house on the rock.
