paramakina202:My brother, does it matter if it was 60 or 10,000 or 1 person? |
ENGINEERG:Mr man, go back to the bible and found out the purpose of marriage. Some of us have been more than 2 decades into it without regrets. |
This is very appalling. Is this what they waited 27 years for? |
Dig deeply. Zelensky and his wife have a tremendous fortune hidden in offshore accounts. I will not be surprised if he and Abramovic have done business before. |
BluntNigerian:The post said every month, not every week. Chicken for stew Meat for soup Tomatoes Pepper Onions Rice Beans Yam (3) Plantain Bread (4 loaves) Eggs (2 crates) 1/2 Veg oil (Kings) Palm oil (1/2 gallon) Oha leaf Ugu Water leaf Semo Gari Stockfish Crayfish (1 mudu) Egusi Fruits Thyme Curry Knorr cubes Drinks and snacks (for kids) Bathing soap Tissue Sure spray Detergent Morning fresh Hypo Air freshner Put a price tag on the above and see if 50k a month will cut it for a family of 4. |
May God hear the cry of all those shot in the ENDSARS protests and visit judgement on anyone who associates with those behind it. I mean real serious vengeance. |
Zelensky needs to accept the situation FAST before his country becomes an absolute wasteland. |
There is nowhere in the world where road users do not pay tolls for the maintenance of their roads. Why is this such a problem in Nigeria? Besides I see only one tolling point, but with as many as 12 toll gates to make sure as many cars as possible are attended to. |
The Russians are using their old stock of weapons and are actually prepared for a long-drawn conflict. The moment NATO enters the conflict is when people will know what Putin has been building for the last 20 years. |
Datikwerreboi:It would interest you to know that the Nigerian Navy has an outpost around that area. |
SIRTee15:Did the Europeans teach Mansa Musa how to mine and purify gold to become the world's richest man at the time? When you hear of Egypt being the cradle of civilization by discovering how to irrigate farms, preserve dead bodies, etc, was it the white man who taught them that? |
okuta007:Tell them o. Your employer must apply for it on your behalf. |
Let me break it down for you. Abroad, you pay for everything you enjoy. My rent in Barbados is $US952 a month (2 bedroom fully furnished). Everything covered (including Wifi). The food is expensive. I spend $300 a week on food alone. You need to see the small tomatoes sold for $6: very small. We buy tomatoes of $25 to be able to cook stew (as opposed to maybe N800 or N1000 tomatoes in Nigeria). Yam is like $2.50 a kilogram (yes it is measured in kg here). So a tuber of yam that you buy N800 in Naija and be shouting it is expensive, costs like $8 - $10. But the wages here are much higher than in Naija. A nurse earns the equivalent of $2,250 here a month. In Naija, that is nearly N1.3million a month. But what you get to spend here on that salary, will leave you very little as savings. So at the end of the day, things tend to balance themselves out. The only difference is that you enjoy amenities you cannot enjoy in Naija. Also, know that as a foreigner, you do not have the freedom to start a business the way you can do it in Naija. A work visa or student visa does not confer the rights to start a business (with some few exceptions). So at the end of the day, you have to know what you are gunning for. |
This is awful. |
KillAlabi2021:Yet you are on an online forum created by an African. Why not go to your slave masters in Europe and suck their toes? |
chloride6:Why must we do things like everyone else? Colonial mentality at work. When are the rains heaviest in this part of the world? In January or in June? Some of you need to have some sense drilled into your skulls. |
My wife travelled to Nigeria recently to see what her staff in her business were up to without notice. She met one staff spreading her legs on top of her office table. Another had not reported for work that day. Two others were doing their tasks dutifully, while another was making a phone call very loudly, oblivious of her presence. They were new staff who had been employed and had never set eyes on my wife. When she entered the office, they did not know who she was. Of course, appropriate sanctions and commendations were meted out as deserved. That is how the coming of the Lord Jesus will be. As it was in the days of Noah, so it shall be. In Noah's time, it had never rained on the earth. The earth was watered by a mist (Genesis 2 v 5-6). So when Noah spoke of rain falling on the earth, he was laughed at, mocked and despised. The building of the ark took some time (the bible does not say how long). Matthew 24 v 37 puts it clearly. As it was in the days of Noah, so it shall be when Jesus comes. People will be living their lives as if nothing happened. As if there was no pandemic. As if there were no vaccine mandates, NIN-SIM linkages, development of e-currencies and all emerging technologies that clearly point to the issuance of the mark of the beast. So those who say that the promise has been on for more than 2,000 years without fulfilment should know it will happen at a time when they least expect it. If my own wife can surprise her staff the way she did with no warning, how much more will that day of the Lord catch so many by surprise. |
Just tell us you will give a contract to Peter Obi to recover his loss. Nonsense. |
What is the essence of this silly piece? If you are trying to make a mockery out of God or the Christian faith, you are not the first and will not be the last. The bible records that Saul (before he turned Paul) went from house to house dragging out Christians and killing them. We saw the Nazis do this to the Jews later on in history. 1 Peter 1 v 3 says that God's divine power has given us ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN TO LIFE & GODLINESS through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. God created the earth and gave us dominion over it and handed it over to us for administration. The mess you see around the world today (and moreso in "shithole" countries like Nigeria where the crimefighters are now robbers in uniform) is because the evil that is in the heart of men has made it so. Countries where things work are those who have discovered what God has already planted in all human beings. God made the garden of Eden and gave it all to Adam...complete package. We were to have fellowship with God (spiritual needs). Even the material needs have already been taken care of by God. It is only in Nigeria where we ask God to do everything for us without knowing He has done it all! We are the ones who need to take charge and use what is already created in us to create the country we need. Other countries where things work are already doing it. |
The end-time crackdown on the church continues in another dimension. |
Joysticks:Fool. All Africans think of is sex and children and making more children they cannot feed. |
That your uncle-in-law is very fortunate he does not have an inlaw like me. I will take him to a room promising to give him some gifts, but what he will see in that place, his mouth will never be able to tell the story. Nonsense! |
Prosper123:E be like say you no know wetin dey. - Paul Biya has been in power for 40 years. 2022 will make it 41 years. - The gendarmes used to raid Igbo traders doing business in Bakassi in the 1990s and mock them calling them Biafrans. - The Nigerian government handed over the Ambazonian leader to Cameroon. I think the guy is now serving a life sentence. In the same vein, the Ambazonian group said they will not support IPOB as they do not want the refugees in Cross River, Akwa Ibom and other states to be expelled by the Nigerian government back to Cameroon where they will meet an uncertain fate. So if you are a Nigerian travelling by road to Anglophone Cameroon, you are taking a gamble with your life. For sure! That area is a conflict zone. Don't forget the Cameroonian government shut down telecoms and internet services there for 1 year. |
Now Nigerians know the kind of person they voted as a president. |
Kiyosaki summed it up. Switching off the voice assistant: N1 Knowing what to touch to switch off the voice assistant: N1,999 Total = N2,000 Knowledge is power. |
oldtruth:Mr man, You cannot deny the God-given ability of retail entrepreneurship bestowed on the Igbos. They have the ability to take almost zero capital and build empires from it. Igbos have been denied a seat at the national table and that is why you do not hear of their top billionaires. The Yorubas are known for their academic prowess, industry and exploits in professional fields. The Northerners are known for their prowess in agriculture which unfortunately is still hugely untapped. Their leaders have used religion and lack of educational access to keep their people bound. Note that I speak in general terms when you check the relevant ratios. |
My friend, Can you just do the remote work until the impasse is resolved? Nigerians love to complain a lot. You know how many people would give their two legs for the opportunity? Besides, do you know what your earnings will translate into working remotely? I am in Barbados and my 2 months rent here is what I was paying a whole year for where I was staying in Abuja (which is not cheap). So be grateful for your breakthrough. Work and save as much as you can while you are here and set up an investment. You may find it harder to do so when you leave because foreign societies are structured to ensure you spend most if not all your earnings there. |
marvellously:Do you know that here in Barbados, Range Rover is used to do PickUp? |
Did these prophets and prophetess not read where God said in the bible: I hate divorce (Malachi 2 v 16). They think they can just d what God hates and make it to heaven? Just like that? How? |
The facial resemblance is uncanny. |
This nonsense is just too much. |
Samnigazz:Brother mi, why did you bother answering that stark illiterate who has never entered airport before? |
