Things aren't actually expensive in Nigeria compared to other advanced countries. It is the purchasing power that differs.

There are people in Nigeria who earn over $10k dollars a month. If such people travel out of Nigeria to the USA,he will come back to tell you that cost of living in Nigeria is way too cheaper compared to the US.

I will rather earn $1k a month in Nigeria, than to earn $3k-$5k in America
You hit the nail on the head. Cost of living in Nigeria is lower than Ghana, far lower than Senegal and other French African countries where the cost of goods and services is pegged to the Euro.

No,
the church won't be here to witness all the anti christ rule.

The bible says that the beast is going to force every one to take his number 666,
n once u have taken the number u r doomed forever.
Are u implying that God is going to allow His children to take the mark of the beast?

Remember,without the number,u won't b allowed to partake in anything .
U won't have a bank account,
U won't buy or sell anything ,
U won't have right for healthcare ,
No right for education,
U won't work 4 anyone, n no one will work 4 u.
And the government will b the ones enforcing his rule.
He will be allowed to weld incredible amount of power that no one will dare to oppose him except God.

Tell me as a Christian, how long will withstand such wickedness.

So everything the world is doing now is to prepare the way 4 the coming of the lawlessness one,the anti christ.
But the truth is that no one knows time he be reviewd,
It could next 1000yrs or 100yrs,
But his is coming, and we won't b here to witness his terror.
Read Revelation 13 and 14. Many Christians will be martyred for refusing the mark. Read Rev 14 and see the sequence and timeline of events.

Righteousness is saying nothing but the truth! The church will be taken before the great tribulation. I don't believe you when you say the church will be here to witness the "hell".. God cannot punish the righteous together with the wicked.
Read and properly scrutinize every verse in Revelation Chapter 13 and 14. Pay special attention to the sequence of events, leading up to Chapter 14 verse 14 to 16, when the angel comes with a sickle to reap the saints from the earth (the rapture). You will receive light.

SeraphEl:
I have been watching your posts for some weeks. This I have observed and I have this to say to you from the Spirit of the Lord:

1. Your "Ministry" is motivated by and induces "fear". There's no LOVE emanating from your posts. According to scriptures, you are a nuisance AND God is not in fear. 1 Cor 13:1, 1 Tim 1:7.

2. It is originating from wrong and "deceptive" theology. That is: The Escaping or "rapture of church" before "all hell breaks loose". If that "hell" is the persecution (great tribulation), you are 100% wrong. Matt 24: 29-30, 2 Thess. 2 is clear the Church will be here to witness "all hell" of antichrist breaking loose.

3. You must spend a great deal of time carousing the internet looking for "bad news and terror". I have to wonder when you find the time for God in prayer and reading scriptures or evangelizing. Instead, most of your time is spent online so you terrorize people into thinking you are doing "God's work". SIR, you are not. And God is not impressed by your fearmongering messages. Change your method.

In summary: You terrorize people up with your fear based messages. Then you proceed to give them "false" hope of "escape" instead of building them up on how to "stand strong" thru the coming "hell".

What YOU fail to realize is that YOU, yourself, will end up being a victim of the antichrist when it shows up and you are still here. That's after all your terrorizing people with your posts, you end up hearing "depart from me for I knew you not...." Matt 7:21-23.
I have been waiting for someone to tell that fellow. He is very arrogant and also ignorant. One time he gave me a very foul response and I knew immediately he is arrogant. I have seen his type among pastors and many others. Several I know died premature deaths, killed off in their arrogance when they thought they were in good standing with God.

The church will not be raptured before the 7-year tribulation starts. At best, maybe after the first 3.5 years. The church will be here to witness the unleashing of the antichrist.

That is why I have personally invested in a farm to grow all we eat. Already, we are seeing restrictions on who can access what in many places. In the country where I am, I am having to pay for everything using my card. Cash is not being collected because of COVID.

In Benin and Ondo, people are now being threatened to take the vaccine or they will be denied employment, payment of salaries, access to certain places (including places of worship).

Tell me, what is different from these times and the time when no man will be able to buy or sell except they take the mark of the beast.

Good correction. If he listens, he will go to God in prayer to seek where he is going wrong and repent. But if he is arrogant, you will see the response.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Ibadan Job For N175,000 Or Kaduna Job For N259,000 : Which Should I Go For? by stagger: 5:14pm On Sep 07, 2021
kingsolium:
Good morning house, pls I need your views and opinions on this subject matter.

Ok, I currently work with an FMCG Coy in Ibadan as an inventory officer where I earn N175k net on a monthly basis. It’s important to state here that I was living in Lagos prior to my getting this FMCG job.

So, I moved to Ibadan 2 months ago and currently put up with a friend in his apartment while I try to figure out how to move my stuffs to Ibadan on relocation basis. But along the line, I got a job with a big agricultural establishment affiliated to a multinational agricultural firm and I’m being offered N259k for a start excluding other benefits such as airtime(15k) which is different from my main salary.

Also note that the N259k is gross so my take home could be around N230k or thereabouts.

Now here’s the challenge. This new job is in Kaduna(the state capital) and I’ve not been to kaduna before. So, house what do you think about this. I need your candid, sincere and factual advice on this matter.

Thank you
Take the Kaduna job. I order inputs from some of those agric companies and I am aware that their marketing agents cut a lot of side deals. I was once in a shop owned by one of these companies and one of their people made a call to preserve 250 bags of maize seedlings for a top politician.

Even an extra N500 for such an order puts extra N125,000 into your pocket. Not so?

TravelRe: Does Ibom Air Now Resell Already Paidseats By Passengers To Last Minutes Buyers? by stagger: 8:00pm On Sep 01, 2021
wizi4tyn:
Does Ibom Air now resell already paid seats by passengers to last minutes buyers with deep pockets?

Mods, please help me move this topic to the promise land.

Today the 30th of August, 2021, myself and my family(my bro and mum) had to catch a flight from Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport(ABJ) to Victor Attah International Airport(QUO). We initially thought that the flight was for 10:30am not knowing it was for 10am.

Got a bolt ride ride at just about exactly 9am to the airport from our hotel at Wuye. While in the ride, I decide to check the booking again and realize that it's actually 10am, so I tell the driver that we're a bit in a hurry. We arrive the airport and hurriedly join th he queue only to be checked and then a staff of Ibom air by the name Ekaette Eyibo with all amount hostility tells us we're late and that she's been instructed not to board anyone anymore on that flight and that we should rush to the ticketing stand to reschedule our flight.

I watch the baggage while mum goes to reschedule, only to be told that to go on the 2pm flight we'd have to pay a 85k extra and for the 6pm flight we'll pay extra 36k. We had to choose the 2pm flight since my bro had a test in Uniuyo by 3pm and you know Nigerian lecturers don't take excuses no matter how genuine. It was really painful shelling out that amount but we had to.

We were told boarding for the 2pm flight begins by 12noon. Sharp 12noon, we proceed to have our baggage checked by the ever hostile Ekaette Eyibo. After our baggage completes the due process, we proceed to departure hall and on our boarding passes, it is boldly written that boarding ends by 1320HRS GMT+1. As at the time boarding was supposed to end, it had not even commenced. Boarding for that flight began by 1324HRS GMT+1, 4 Minutes after it was supposed to end. We got on board some minutes later. As 10 minutes to the flight time, boarding was still going on, the cabin crew had not even started the usual pre-flight instruction session. By 1400HRS GMT+1, boarding was still going on by the crew, comprising majorly of Egyptians (since the plane is on a wet lease from Egypt air) and one Akwa Ibomite by the name Essien. Boarding finally ended by 1410HRS GMT+1, 10 minutes after it was supposed to take off. The airbus A220s finally started moving on the tarmac by 1429HRS GMT+1 and took off about 5 minutes later.

So many questions bug my mind at this point.
Why did boarding begin after it was supposed to end?
Was the plane still being boarded when takeoff time had passed?
Who are those passengers that were still boarding after takeoff time?
When did they book their flights and how much did they pay?
Did they have to take somebody else's seat just cos they could pay much more? And a lot of other questions only Ekaette Eyibo and the rest of the guys at Ibom Air can answer..

The same Ibom air had their flights on Saturday the 28th, and Sunday the 29th both by 1030HRS GMT+1 both shifted to 1400HRS GMT+1 of same respective days at the last minute without any form of compensation to the passengers whose schedules they had altered. Ibom Air just chooses to treat passengers as they wish just cos they can? Is this how they intend to behave when they start flying international? I really feel pained that I'm one of those that has been rooting for Ibom Air. That 85k is quite very painful and I also lost my ring in the course of the whole confusion caused by Ekaette Eyibo.
Check-in on a local flight is supposed to end 40 minutes before boarding. If you left Wuye by 9am, there is no way you could have been at the airport by 9.20am or 9.30am to meet the check-in deadline. So let's get that out of the way.

Secondly, morning flights are usually booked to the brim. Afternoon flights less so (except flights to Lagos for obvious reasons). So it is possible that afternoon flights will be merged or delayed until a minimum number required to make that flight profitable is reached. A one-hour flight from Abuja to Uyo can consume about 3500 pounds of Jet A1 fuel, which is nearly 2,000 litres of aviation fuel an hour.

Aviation fuel is about N300 per litre and it is all imported at the exchange rate of N530. So to fly from Abuja to Uyo will cost the airline N600,000 on fuel costs alone. The pilots, air hostesses, aircraft engineers, etc are all paid out of these funds. The planes go for maintenance. There was a time all our planes in Nigeria were serviced in Nigerian Airways hangars. Not anymore. Now a C-Check has to be done at any of several facilities abroad, usually at the General Aviation Maintenance centre in Istanbul at the cost of millions of DOLLARS (not Naira).
I have not added insurance premiums.

That plane has to fly at least 20 passengers to cover the fuel costs, and by the time you add all these costs, how do you think Ibom Air will fly an empty plane to Akwa Ibom because your brother had to go for a test? They must fill those seats brother!

The margins in aviation business are small and yet it requires massive capital injection. Do your own bit to keep our airlines profitable.

Please help me.

I've been having watery and frequent stool for over a month. I stool a minimum of three times a day and its always watery.

I have visited hospitals and done numerous tests but no improvement.

I have done Blood test, stool test, Covid-19 test and HIV test and all were negative.

I have used all sorts of antibiotics and anti-diarrheals as recommended by doctors and pharmacists; Azithromyin, Metronidazole, Ciprotab, lomotil, loperamide etc.

I am single but have a girlfriend. We have MouthAction and rarely use condom.

I remember that around the time this stooling started, I bought a rice at one Captain Cook eatery, the rice's taste was slightly changed. Also, I remember I bought a sandwich at another eatery (not on same day) that didn't taste too good.

Please help.
Go and repeat that HIV test.

Yes... possible!

Principles of Vaccination, not only CoVID19, have been explained over and over again..

Vaccines doesn't not confers immunity against getting infected, NO...Vaccines only prepares your immune system to fight viruses, to reduce their virulence or potency against you.

So, your chances of getting complications, hospitalisation and death is greatly reduced.

This is how vaccines works...From Chicken Pox , to Hepatitis to CoVID19..it's same principle.
You forgot to add that if there is a mutation (such as COVID-delta), the vaccine made from earlier versions of a virus may not even be effective.

I say it unabashedly that Paul is definitely the weaker character, and unfortunately for him,he has separated from his twin that's supposed to give him strength in times like this.
Jude okoye is an interloper,a leech, parasite and financial tick on Paul, but Paul being the eternal weakling is still sucking up to him,Lola okoye was never the problem in the psquare relationship,it was the loud mouthed, parasitic and arrogant Jude okoye.

Global demand for lithium is projected to skyrocket 40-fold above 2020 levels by 2040, according to the International Energy Agency, along with rare earth elements, copper, cobalt, and other minerals in which Afghanistan is naturally rich.

Afghanistan is rich in barite, chromite, coal, copper, gold, iron ore, lead, natural gas, petroleum, precious and semi-precious stones, salt, sulfur, talc, and zinc, among many other minerals such as high-quality emerald, lapis lazuli, red garnet and ruby.

They also grow more than 70% of the world's opium supply.

That country is practically a land loaded with money.

You think the US will simply allow just anyone to enter office in a country where they have sunk such money? The whole plan was to stabilize the country so US business interests will take over the rich mineral resources in the country. The plan backfired and they had to count their losses.

Which country will sink more than ONE TRILLION DOLLARS just to deal with terrorist threats? Are there no terrorists in Lebanon, Syria, Nigeria, Sudan and other countries?

tensazangetsu20:
I was watching a documentary today on CNN about the Talibans capture of a major city in Afghanistan. The first thing they did was to get all girls from age 12 and above for the commanders and various members to get married to and it got me thinking. The Taliban and the various terror groups in the north all share the same ideology. No amount of weapons or super intelligence can defeat this guys. I mean the USA poured in over 20 billion dollars in Afghanistan. Sent in high end weapons, trained the Afghan troops yet they still lost the war. 20 years gone, thousands of Americans dead and the war was lost.

If a whole America couldn't defeat the Taliban what is the fate of the Nigerian army in winning the boko haram war. They are even recruited into the same army and people in the south are just sitting down. Whether people like it or not. Those guys will take over the north and when they do what happens to the south. I mean people make a lot of noise on social media but we all know southern tribes aren't used to wars or warrior like in nature compared to the north that has known and fought all kinds of wars. Even if the country divides as people want it to. Will independent southern nations have the resources to fight the terror groups in the north. With Afghanistan under taliban control it will become a training and funding ground for all forms of terror group.

I have always predicted southern Nigeria to be like congo or Liberia in the future but with what's going on in the north it might be much worst than Afghanistan and Yemen put together.
Correction. The US poured close to $850 billion into Afghanistan in a 20 year period. More than s fifth of that money went into training a useless army that capitulated like chickens before a battle hardened Taliban force.
