SO SAD, i feel u, but word of advice never pay fees directly to any Nigerian or Nigerian based agent. Make sure u pay directly to the school that offers u admission instead. My elder bros and about 4 of my friends went thru BETTA, but when it came to paying the deposits they did the transactions directly with the School which issues the reciept in your name. Betta might really have the links to Uk schools, but i'd say dont trust Nigerian agents with ur money they can barely trust themselves. |
Hi everyone! Recently i got a disturbing news about too many nigerians being denied UK student's visas, despite the authenticity of their intentions, this could be so painful and in some cases makes some people not want to go on. This thread is created to encourage aspiring AUTHENTIC student visa applicants to make the move and prevent those silly mistakes that have caused many their dreams of studying abroad. Questions and answers are expected over salient points to be considered in filling up the new VF forms and student Questionaires, documentations money matters, correspondence etc. Please if you have been issued a study visa, lets hear your experience, if u are an AUTHENTIC consultant lets get to know u, IF YOU can help a brother or sister out do it here. No back door processes are welcomed here pls. Lets give our Naija graduates a second chance of getting a real internationally valued education, a rudiment for Nation building . |

@ senetee Congrats on your brothers success, and to all the others im waiting to read the same from u lets know when u pull thru. But if anything goes wrong which i doubt, lets know about it so we can help out (authentic cases only) ok? cheers |
timx:Submitting photocopies of your credentials was not the wisest thing to do, cos it makes it more difficult for visa officials to verify its authenticity. Also we all know that most Nigerian Universities have no unline verification links for awarded degrees or other qualifications issued by them, hence the normal verification process might take time and in some cases might be impossible. Nonetheless, Visa officials are not really as sadistic as percieved by most people. They understand the fact that u dont want to risk losing originals, hence your actions so, they can let it pass after proper scrutiny (i believe they have experts for this). Besides they also realise d fact that Fakers are less likely to submit photocopies, instead they submit "fake originals". i believe if all your other docs. were intact and authentic, you stand a good chance, it might only take some time. Good luck |
jones77:Heres the only person who seems to be looking on both sides of the coin This aint no Nigerian movie. And mind u, ur fiancee wont just take off your pictures and pack out your clothes for no reason, except perhaps u were engaged to a RETARD Baby girl, i believe there is something u r not telling us about your side of the brunt. i get a lot of girls talkin shit like, i didnt do anythig o, he just left me for some chick and every body then shouts cruscify him, without settling for the real facts, talk about jungle justice! Some of us here are not that dumb, im sure if the guy were to post out his side of the story we will equally have some follow the crowd people on his side telling him not to go back to a person like you. Unfortunately some of us are not as intelligent or as educated as to understand the process of psychological /deductive reasoning, so we just answer based on our emotional minds over a one sided story. In real life except na juju, u don’t break up a church arranged Engagement just cos u find new pussy.Honeygirl, im not out to castigate or judge u, but I’ll like you to think over it again, Are u sure u are blameless in the whole scuttle which he maybe later decided to forgive? Are u truely in love with ur new guy, or u are just out to revenge? If u satisfy urself positively good for u, but if u lie to urself it will all come down on u one day and Nairalanders wont be there. I uderstand ur pain, but you need to understand that the most inhuman things on Earth are done by we Humans. Have a beautiful life and Good luck |

simply_me:Mind u the larger the number of genuine and focused students they are able to admit into their country , the better for them They have come to realise the fact that the immigration of more graduates into the country has been one of the major economic boosters for them and many other nations are begining to realise this and follow suit. Why do u think they are giving all international Uk graduates a year to get employement in the uk after studies and probably get a permanent job which will aid in nation building. Check out scotland offering graduates 2 year work without needing a permit after graduation. While Naija communities are kidnapping expatriates, discouraging investors, giving jobs by ethnicity/ connections and fighting their brothers over natural resources to be used for selfish gains, The developed counties have seen the stuff in our professional graduates and are actually braindraining the nation of its finest, because our nation seems not to know their worth. So i tell you if they can discover even 30,000 authentic Students applying for study visas they are willing to give them all entry clearances. |
@ Seun001 im verry positive of the fact that she is not in the know about my leaving and besides does it make sense to claim u are in love with a guy just because he's about to leave the country i mean do girls do that? Because nothing can make me change my mind , cos my fees are paid up, tickets booked and all dat |
The writer has no plight from what ive read. He is a british citizen My deductions are simply that most Nigerians who applied for Visas are denied because of any of these 1. They were not well prepared b4 application submission 2. Were not genuine in their visa application intentions 3. Did not meet up the required standards of the Uk Visa they applied 4 it only cautions u to be well prepared to do what u have to do if u are genuine, unfortunately so many Nigerians are fraudulent sorry to say, so the'll keep getting denied. The high commision i believe is really doing a honestly good job without fear or favour |

@ Topic IT MIGHT NOT BE SAFE I got a text from a girl last night who had been a casual friend of mine confessing that she had fallen in love with me since three months ago when we first met and just had to let it out now. i was shocked! it was just then i remembered this thread again. The problem now is ill be leaving the country next in 2 weeks for school in UK and wont come back to nAIJA for a long time. this she doesnt know yet Though i realised i seemed to have mutual feelings i couldnt admit it anymore, cos ill be building emmotions and heartful burdens when i leave so i decided not to make her know my heart, because i dont see it working due to distance. i want to go start my life anew Now i understand why some guys may not be able to reply those words in the affirmitive. Do u think i did wrong? |
Ldales:How soon is your commencement date @ manchsater? if september or october then apply as soon as you can As per your sponsors her statement of acct. residence utility bills, employers letter etc may be necessary, if yours cannot cater for the course As per the amount available for your trip, state the ammount in pounds required for studies and living expenses all together this might fall between E14k to E15k check the actual from ur prospectus. The Visa officials just want to be sure u know what u are getting involved in thats why they are asking. NB: i hope u have an unconditional admission offer or acceptance letter Gud luck! |
most of u called 4 interviews will be issued , trust me ![]() |

i think u r BAD luck
