Politics › Re: Crisis In PDP As Oyinlola Threatens Tukur by takedat(m):
A kingdom divided against itself is ruined. The skulduggery of GEJ and his bootlickers will crumble the biggest looting party as the fight gets messier because Oyinlola will most likely be granted a stay of execution pending appeal by one of the cash and carry judges with the support of the PDP governors and OBJ.
Let's see how the plot to weaken a weak president goes!
Politics › Re: N2 Trillion In Two Years: Going, Going, Gone!!! by takedat(m):
Intervention funds are seen as sharing of the national cake. Those in real need of the loans find it difficult to access while cronies and political associates of those in government fraudulently divert it into private use or other ventures. This shows the un seriousness of a government who sees the fraudulent misapplication of the bail outs and yet find it difficult to prosecute the thieves e.g Jimoh Ibrahim is still walking free after diverting such fund.

What Nigeria needs for now is an Intervention towards the recovery of our stolen wealth and to get rid of the treacherous looting cabal ruling this nation!

taharqa: SHUT that yr sillly mouth there u shameless HYPOCRITE. The FG already gave that road to Julius Berger and one other company, and JB was doing a fine work reconstructing the road until budgetary constraints (funding) made them slow down the job and finalli stoppd it. Another body, FERMA, reluctantly starting providing sm palliative work on the road pending when funding issues bw d contractors and the FG wud be resolvd, and many of u paid goons (esp u ijiot) were mastur.bating all ova d thread calling it 'patch patch' work; now, Fash is doing SAME TIN and u hypos are asking us to 'celebrate' the feat, calling it 'fixing' the road dis time.... OKPEEEee..
Bro, why should a serious government underfund the rehabilitation of an important road like the Apapa express way? Why is the road not added to those of the so called SURE-P?
Politics › Re: Is PDP The Most Democratic Party In Nigeria? by takedat(m):
There seems to be a consensus of opinion that all political parties in Nigeria lack internal democracy. PDP is the least democratised amongst the parties with intra party strife. During the party's last national convention, candidates were imposed on all members including a 60 year old as the Youth Leader, that is pure ra.pe of internal democracy. The party is the most factionalised amongst all the parties as seen in most states where parallel congresses where held. PDP also partly lost Oyo and Ogun states due to intra party fracas. The imbroglio engulfing its NWC and BOT are also good examples. PDP's disregard of internal democracy gave rise to a lot of political assassination amongst its members and also targeted some opposition figures. Some are convinced that the rise of terrorism ie Boko Haram was due to lack of internal democracy in PDP whereby some aggrieved members overtly or covertly sponsor terrorism to distabilise the government because they felt dissatisfied with the party's arrangement.

Most of the other political parties especially LP, ACN, APGA and ANPP also have their internal wrangling due to imposition of candidates but have been able to manage their crises probably because they are relatively smaller parties compared to PDP. That these parties leadership impose candidates is because they are the financiers of the parties and elections are monetized in the country, so its nothing strange that they dictate the affairs.

Constituting BOT's alone doesn't make a party truly democratised and most of the other well known parties do hold conventions even if exco's are elected by consensus which in itself is not undemocratic!

Does a notice of appeal operate as stay? Why can't he vacate the office and resume if successful on appeal?
I only reiterated what Oyinlola's counsel said that a "stay of execution pending the appeal" has been filled. With the judicial system that we run, trust the Oyinlola's side to have a judge that will be sympathetic to his plight especially since its obvious that this judgement has some political undertone (GEJ versus OBJ's). The cabal that Oyinlola belongs to in PDP ie OBJ's and governors forum will fight to see that he retains his position.
Politics › Re: Contractor Admits Role In Embezzlement Of N6 Billion Meant For Military Equip. by takedat(m):
Its a never ending news of corruption in Nigeria, almost everyone is trying to fraudulently enrich him or herself. Not much will come out of this since high calibre intelligence officials are either culprit or accomplice in the allegation. Nigeria will remain in this dysfunctional state since we've lost the priceless fabric of probity, diligence and accountability!
Politics › Re: Oyinlola Sacked As PDP National Secretary by takedat(m):
Since a notice of appeal and stay of execution has been filled, he still remains the secretary. Can't wait to see how GEJ's over ambitious agenda to earn a 2015 ticket ruins the biggest thieving party!

Maxymilliano: Sacking and aborting the inept and highly corrupt government headed by Shagari was one of the best decision taken by Buhari so far, the country would have gone to the dogs by now if the drift was not halted.

Shagari government wobbled into leadership on shaky premise. The expectation was that with democracy, all would be well. But this was not to be. The regime headed by the chain-smoking ex-teacher quickly showed that it was inept at governance. It was an unmitigated failure.

The economy was on a fast recovery after the putsch, with corruption and indiscipline almost becoming a thing of the past before IBB took over the reigns of government and liberalized corruption into multiple folds.

Some of the governors you mentioned were noticed for their sterling performance in their respective states and were drafted in as Ministers during the military interregnum.

OBJ has always been known to favour mediocre minds and those who lack leadership skills eg GEJ, Igbinedion, Akala and a host of others. OBJ and his killer cohorts in PDP are the architect of the nation's woes for the past 13 years with their do Or die political desperation, political assassination, terrorism(boko haram), maladministration and mismanagement of public funds.

OBJ, GEJ and other failed political elites should all bugger off!

Allocation of oil blocks should always follow international best practises and not through the discretion of the president as its been done and proposed in the PIB where presidents can simply award juicy oil blocks to their cronies.

PDP is a party where you have over ambitious crooks trying to outwit one another in an attempt to plunder the nation's wealth. The influence of GEJ on the party is gradually dwindling and his desperation for a 2015 ticket will eventually lead the party to its ruin!

Maxymilliano: But bro, don't you feel GEJ had foresee the likely outcome of the BOT election prior to this time, hence providing a sort of soft landing for Anenih as NPA Chairman in case of eventualities, and which was played out today?
I do know, just trying to get some humour out of it. The possibility of reconciliation between the duo is there, though this outcome has undermined GEJ's influence to an extent!

taharqa: Guy you usuali strive to undastad articles b4 commenting; surprisd that you didnt do same today... From d article the money is NOT missing nor was it Stolen nor is d account actuali 'empty'; the money has just not been CASH BACKED, period. That is simply a financial accounting term signifying that actual cash has not bn paid to an account by d paying authority (in dis case, d Finance Minister and d Accountant General Office) even afta d authorising approvals and instruments hv bn given. It is a usual Budgetary pattern.... This was just a Sensationalist HEADLINE , read d body of d article more carefully again
Friend, the government brought all the suspicion upon itself cos when government knew it would take time for it to cash back the supplementary budget or before converting it to Naira, why was the government in a hurry to present a supplementary budget in december when it could have simply added the said amount to what was appropriated for 2013 subsidy before the 2013 budget was passed?
This same government through NNPC was said to have borrowed almost $2billion to pay fuel importers the same december N161billion was passed.
