slimyem: Your absurd analysis of the situation is the reason for my exclamation. You make the whole thing sound like "cheating" is done in public and the whole village gets to know of it the moments it starts.
The only thing ice you didn't put on it is that stick and stones would be hurled at the children for their parents' indiscretion. It doesn't play out as horribly as you make it sound. The children might not even be aware of what's going on for as long as possible talk less their friends taunting them with it.
Now you make me laugh in spanish, you think when a woman begins to cheat on her hubby openly, the next door neighbor wunt get to know about it?? My dear that's were the news begins to spread like wide fire and you start hearing them whisper it even to the woman's hearing. Or do you think kids are so dump they don't know what's going on between their parents. No matter how much a woman trys to hide such dirty act,it will definitely come out openly sooner than she expected it.

slimyem: Jeedus!!shockedshocked
You are there screaming Jeedus!! If it were to happen to you(God forbid) would you have acted like that woman in the story and not consider your children and their futurehuh
No offense intended,just a question.
FamilyRe: Is This Common Amongst Nigerian Married Women? by taryour(f): 8:13pm On Apr 30, 2013
To all the women in the house who sees nothing wrong in what d woman is doing, don't you all think the kids between the couple should b considered? How it will affect their growing up and how they will be talked about in public and their friends and neighbors will make jest of them and calling their mother a sluthuh They wunt even be able to boast of their mother outside their home cause a they know their mother is a Married Slut.. Luckily for such woman she will have all girls, then she shouldn't complain if they start sleeping around at the age of 14 or even open their legs for their own father to penetrate.

Yes it is very wrong for a man to cheat his woman but a woman doing same because are hubby does is disgusting and unjustifiable. A cheating father is already a bad model to his kids, should the mother also join in being a bad model as wellhuh
women...o women, i hail thee. women of the sun, moon, cross and sticks, i adorn you. this is why i have chosen to remain a

handsomely for their precious time. sorry if i come off as arrogant, money has never been an issue. is there any decent

woman? there is none.
Yes there are decent women,a lot of them just like the great woman who bore you. Stop using women and Change your perception about women and you will sure find your own missing rib as your dad found your wonderful mother. It is well

FamilyRe: Is This Common Amongst Nigerian Married Women? by taryour(f): 2:09pm On Apr 30, 2013
The saying that 2 wrongs don't make it right remains and it will forever be so. A woman who uses her husbands infidelity as an excuse to cheat is definitely maad and a jezebel, she is no difference from a sex hawker and should not be called a virtuous woman. What example will she b laying for her kids and those looking up to her,how the hell will she open her mouth to explain it that she is cheating on her hubby cause he is doing samehuh She has always been a cheat from the beginning and will forever be,she was only waiting for a string to hold on to,a string that would give her eternal SHAME to womanhood. Such woman is as dirty as a p.I.g and has no dignity whatsoever. The act is wrong and will forever be wrong!! Gaskia

FamilyRe: What Is The Maximum Age A Child Can Be Spanked? by taryour(f): 9:51pm On Apr 29, 2013
smartmom: My friend narrated her frustration in being unable to spank her 13 year old son because he was too old to be spanked. Another woman there disagreed with her age perimeter stating that 16 was her own gauge. I am perplexed and wondering which of the 2 parents is right.
For me,once he or she is out of secondary school.
FamilyRe: UK Mom Forced 14-year-old Daughter To Become A Surrogate Mother by taryour(f): 9:39pm On Apr 29, 2013
And they gave her just 5 years in prisonhuh For all the pain, the trauma she caused the young girl, all the pains of miscarriages and evacuation. She should be sentenced for longer years abeg, what if the young girl had died or gotten her womb damaged in the process of evacuation after the miscarriageshuh
If I may ask, what the hell does she want more kids for after having 3 adopted kids? Because she dosnt have kids of her own for whatever reason,or dosnt have a womb is not enough to treat that 14 year old as such. Some pple are just heartless.

Lucky the violence did not have more consequences

I will only advocate physical violence as a last resort for which I guess you were in..that lady was really something else

OP, please avoid violence to the best of your ability

It can only lead to more escalation
Yes oo you are very right,I just kept thanking God she dint collapse before they broke d door in, I cried later in the night and apologized to her. I tell you this lady is so insultive not minding that I was older than her o. In fact a male friend of her actually told me I did a good job and I needed to see her in class after that event, though I was glad I made an impact I regretted I went overboard with my anger. She later apologized too for her past deed and asked why always kept quite for her.

I simply told her Getting angry not being able to control your anger makes you look mad and a bigger fool than the person attacking you.
FamilyRe: How Do You Cope Living With A Hot Tempered Person In The Same Room? by taryour(f): 11:04am On Apr 29, 2013
Cheks01: Pls I need some advice on ds or has any1 been same situation hw did u manage t
Yes I have been in your shoes n I must tell u it wasn't an easy game at all but at the end of it all her bad temper changed cause I realy dealt her the taste of her own bile, I can be very wicked n nasty if I want to be (I have a bad anger too) n I can b quiet n pretend as long as I want to be.

Back in school days my room mate was worse than bad tempered, but I kept my cool all d while cause if I dint, blood would have spilled. Each time she gets on a ranting and anger I would just turn on d music to d loudest volume to over ride her voice or listen to loud music on my fone with my earphone stucked in my ears and she could go on and damage all she likes in the room as long as she dosnt touch mine, at times I just leave the door opened for neighbors and passer by to see her foolish display while I just take a sit and quitely sit outside n smile, people tought she was nuts and she thought I was a dunce that she was bullying, my neighbors know her well and just beg me not to fight her. This went on for months and I always told her one day I would teach her a lesson and the day eventually came.

I was writing my exams and left home in a hurry, forgot to luck the windows, rain fell got into d room though not much, she was so angry and started her usual game. I apologized cause I knew iwas wrong but she wouldn't have that, next thin she started throwing out my things in a room we both paid for, that realy got me angry. I pushed her in,looked d room and kept d keys in my jean pocket and we got violent,I really dealt with her o,I broke a plate on her head and almost strangled her before my neighbors broke d door in.
Yes no one blamed me cause they her too well but I felt realy bad cause I had learnt to control my anger over d years. From that day henceforth she has realy changed and her sis and friends keep asking me how it happend.
Today we are best of friends again even after marriage and kids.

Sorry my story is long.

nairaman66: Relying on Nlanders for sincere opinions, think again!! I'd rather see a Pastor/Imam regarding my faith..
I perfectly understand why you react like this, its true all sorts are on nairaland. Very good and very bad advices are given on nairaland, its left for the op to be wise enough and sieve the good ones out of the bad ones and make good use of it. The bad ones have indeed spoilt the goods ones. Funny enough all those who give bad advices do not practice it cause the know it will sure lead them astray. Even the pastors and imams you talk about also have very bad ones amongst them which we hear of on a daily basis. May God help us all.

sekemba: Pls I nid ur advice,am a married woman wit a set of twins, got married 2yrs back i married my husband cos I was pregnant and didn't want my parents to feel bad since I was d first born. along d line d 1 I truly luvd came back And still single n in love with me,d moment I saw him d love I had 4 him resurrected so strongly. am thinking of telling my husband and getting a divorce, cos aLl I think of nw is my first and tru luv.am so confused.
My dear that man you call your true love is now your Ex and should remain your Ex forever. Face your husband and the wonderful twins God has blessed you with. Rebuke temptation n let your Ex remain your enemy even if you have to relocate to another environment, cut all communications from him. Or else you give the devil a chance and face thw wrath that comes with it. Pray and ask God to lead you tru the right path. Good luck

FamilyRe: Help My Husband Shares Boxers With His Siblins. by taryour(f): 10:19pm On Apr 21, 2013
grin. I guess you are gay that's why your husband can share boxers with his brothers, meaning you all leaving together and they assume you are just his friend cause they don't know you both are gays that's why they can easily pick their brothers boxers and wear. So why are you complaininghuh After all you all are men.

Or if you are a woman and married, please explain how on earth your brother in law got the access to your hubby's boxers, even if they live in the same house with you,it is your duty as the wife to ensure your hubby things are all kept neat and tidy in a safe place. Abi do you share same wardrobe with your hubby and his brothershuh
FamilyRe: Can Married Couples Go Without Sex For A Year? by taryour(f): 9:58pm On Apr 21, 2013
They definitely can go without sex for more than a year when they reach old age and grow gray hairs. But for couples within age range, its not possible except they ain't ok medically or have issues unsettled.
FamilyRe: What Is Wrong In Taking Money From Your Hubby's Pocket? by taryour(f): 11:36pm On Apr 14, 2013
babysnogls: G.G, everytime i eva took money, i told him. Its like ds: For example, i discover we run out of eggs in d house and i need to buy a crate and im short of cash, i just take money frm his pocket then go to where he is and say 'hon, i just took so so amount from ur pocket cos we nid eggs' or i even buy d eggs then tell him almost immediately. I dnt let him discover it, infact he neva knows. I just know i av to tell him.. I asked earlier, wat if he takes smtn dts mine b4 tellin me, did he also steal frm me?
Madam what you did isn't stealing, and if your hubby also takes your thing b4 telling you is not stealing. Since you tell him almost immediately and he still reacts angrily then its so obvious he doesn't like it so just stop it and let peace reign. Try your best to always have extra savings at home just for times u run out of cash, just assume u had gone to your hubby pocket with the hope of getting some cash to add to the one you and you found an empty pocket wouldn't you have used the one you had on you?
FamilyRe: What Is Wrong In Taking Money From Your Hubby's Pocket? by taryour(f): 5:20pm On Apr 14, 2013
The answer to your question depends on the kind of man you are married to. You alone know his likes,if you know he doesn't like it and you go ahead and do it then you looked for trouble and deserve whatever comes out of it. And for those that their hubby don't mind, courtesy demands that you inform him before or after you have taken it to prevent issues. Some men like to keep changes in their pockets for reasons known to them so as we women so when you now get there and can't find it is annoying. I know a man who forgets his wallet a lot at home or in his car and always has extra money in his pocket.that's my hubby so I don't go to his pocket so I don't get into trouble rather I wouldn't even mind putting more in his pocket for him sef.

Am sure he would even read this post and smile to himself cause I don complain tire oo.

FamilyRe: Please Matured Advice by taryour(f): 10:16pm On Apr 10, 2013
This is a big one here, you really need to sit down and think it all out, you going ahead to marry him with his family not in support of ur union is gona big problem. Its obvious you aren't welcomed at all by any member of his family and the ex is the one welcomed. My question is will that lady remain an ex or will she b a wife soon right under your nose? My dear it doesn't look like you got a bright future in that family. It all still boils down to your choice, taking chances and marry your guy and having family issues or you just face reality and opt out. Whatever you decide have this in mind that " A broken relationship is better than a broken marriage ".

Lot of questions,it is well .....
FamilyRe: Is It Acceptable For A Woman To Keep Male Friends After Marriage? by taryour(f): 9:32am On Apr 10, 2013
taiyesoul: I understand u,tayour.i have this experience of a brother's wife, who came accross this guy whom she's one dated at university days. They exchanged PINs' and the guy once in a while visits her at the office, and trust men,he asked her out. This woman has got 3 kids already!,and this intruder is also happily merreid with 2 kids.In a matter of days, this woman's attitude to her hubby changed suddenly. She hisses, nags and snubs her hubby a'home, which is very unusual. The husband then got suspicious, and placed a close watch on her.She got hold of her wife's phone and saw everything!.This housewife and this guy are already in love!.According to their bbm converstaions, the wife now refers to the guy as "my love" and the guy also refers to the woman as "Ife mi'.She started pleading and begging her husband to forgive her, that she didnt knew when she started falling in love with the guy.Can u justify these?.What is realy the heart of this miatter?
Nothing what so ever justifies her actions, its was very silly of her to have exchange pins in the first place with an ex, as far as am concerned an Ex should remain an Ex/enemy. If by chance u meet an Ex after marriage, you should totally snub him or her or just say hi.there should be no roon for any talk or smiles. You shouldn't even do business with an Ex. A woman that did such a thing after 3 kids is a shame to woman hood and her kids, what example is she laying as a wife, mother, friend, sister and a role model? She has the cheating blood in her and had waited for the opportunity, she deserves whatever treatment her husband gives her.
FamilyRe: Is This Fear Or Respect! by taryour(f): 9:19am On Apr 10, 2013
@op abeg leave that woman alone for the love of God,there absolutely nothing wrong with that. I do it as well since I was dating my hubby till we got married and up untill now and it as worked perfectly well for me. He knows where I am at every point in time and same as him. All those friends are mocking her sure have worse problems they facing in their homes. Abeg if anything happens to either of the spouse na who dey go call first? No b the other half? So its not a matter of fear or trust at all. Its just their own way in their home. I have picked this habit since wen I was a spinster n its working for my home, even when I go out alone I let my hubby know when I get to my destination with either a text, call or just a flash, and when am leaving I do same and if there is any delay wathsoever or I need to stop by at anywhere I let him know and he does same too even when hubby was outa d country we still kept on like that and funny enough we even exchange text of what's happening where we are and laugh over it if its funny. So op please that lady she is on point no shaking.

May God never let us end up with such a man as hubby/father.
Amin o Jesu. Just the thought of him not doing anything could make the kids hate him and deny him as their father. I wonder what he would have done if his wife had reported to him that the same insane brother had raped her..
