Even Akpabio wouldn't say this. If Tinubu had supported Yari or any other contestant Akpabio would have been toast. The contenders that stepped down did so at the behest of Tinubu. If they didn't step down and they aligned with Yari, it would have been tight.

The striking thing for me is the number of people on this thread screaming "see neat estate". Well, I am only surprised that we have these many people that appreciate orderliness and I wonder if the Nigerians who revel in disorderliness and throw wastes in inappropriate places are ghosts.

I am not so sure that the LP structure will be sustained because politicians from all divides will infiltrate the party and plant their stooges, knowing that it is a viable alternative. At that point the masses wouldn't be able to afford the nomination forms.

Read that comment again. I wasn't theorizing on who could or couldn't win. My submission was that since the presidential election was a 3 horse race, any one who emerged as winner should have been expected to have the least percentage of winning votes compared to when we had 2 front runners.

No presidential candidate since 1999 has won below 40% of votes — including PMB in 2019.

For the initiates of statistics and data science, we know that correlation does not mean causality. Statisense should have established causality so that they can make it make sense. Besides they should have done a comparative analysis against another election year and then look at the time series effect to detect cyclical or seasonal effects.

Stop mouthing this inanity, I voted for Tinubu and I know several people who did. If Obi truly won as some people claim God will help him to recover his mandate through the court but if he actually lost and Tinubu won, may the court uphold the INEC declaration.

I keep saying that wrongdoings must have consequences in this part of the world if Nigeria is ever going to work.

If Gbadebo's claims are true, INEC officials should be jailed for tampering with the commission's results.

And if his claims are not true what should happen to him? I personally believe that I would allow the court process to run its course before I say anything on this presidential issue. But pulling figures from the air wouldn't serve any good purpose.

I am not sure that this advice isn't coming too late in the day. Whilst there are some youths with requisite training and mental capacity for leadership a lot of neophytes have been and will be elected and it will not augur well for the country's development.

1. No experience in politics or civil service. His own is even worse than that of Minister Kemi they appointed to handle our economic policy with no prior experience of the dynamics of African and Nigerian economies.
2. Some of his media posts have been polarising. I can make the argument that it is his social media handler. However, it is on him for appointing a non-Yoruba social media handler that is either a bigot or someone that enjoys posting recklessly.
3. He can't speak Yoruba. How is he going to connect to the grassroots? This might not be a big deal, but unfortunately, Nigerians are still very tribal.

Point of correction, Kemi Adeosun had experience as Ogun State's Commissioner of Finance before she was appointed as a Minister.

I will be voting for Babajide Sanwo-Olu but I wish Gbadebo Chinedu good luck at the polls. I see no reason why I shouldn't vote for Sanwo-Olu, he is young and he has performed well. According to the Americans, "no need fixing it when it ain't broken".

why is everyone putting pressure on inec like these? I think this is the most credible election I have seen so far for LP to win Nasarawa state and has a responsible votes in kaduna and adamawa. But everyone is still shouting rigging with everything on ground. Truly most people are tired of APC but the greediness of A.A not allowing power to shift to the south which lead to obi joining LP gave power back to APC without stress.

Accept the election and move on. If you can survive buhari trust me Jagaban govt will be enjoyment. Let no politician use you to bring our country down. Obidient should hold A.A responsible for the lost of the election and not Jagaban or inec.

Though Inec on there part failed Nigerians by not transmitting results from the PU but that does not mean the election was rigged

God bless you. If AA, Obi and Kwankwanso had stayed together with the G5 governors this election would have been over by now. But, now they didn't listen to the voices of wisdom and they are losing they want to set the country on fire. No need to advise any misguided youth. Once, INEC declares anyone the winner let them go on the streets and the law enforcement officers will be there to do their job.

Lp supporters are claiming rigging whereas they are the one that first started spreading fake news up and down first they said akin Alabi lost his polling unit to LP when the real results came out lp did not even have one vote and the guy later won for his post. Again they started spreading fake news that lp got 1.1mil vote in plateau and some gullible people still fall and believed the lies. These accounts spreading this fake news should be questioned by the security officials after all this is over so they can tell us how they got all this news and propaganda they are spreading up and down they are too much on Twitter am thinking of logging out of Twitter for now.
