I don't evn bliv duke had any such interview where he used words like dat

Duke may have exaggerated a bit. But there's no gain saying that France has the technological capabilities to monitor our defense installations and troop movements with ease. In an all out war , bros it's only a matter of weeks before their French precision guided missiles home in on their nigerian targets .
We do not have early warning systems here in Nigeria
Politics / Re: France Would Have Destroyed Nigeria Over Bakassi - Duke by telexfree1: 10:50am On Oct 12, 2013
gare: It was wrong of Nigeria to have released Bakasi to Cameroon,France would not have done anything, how many wars has France won in thier history, the French people are cowards.

Its very unfortunate that our leaders he could have stood their grounds gave in to the judgment, it is gone now and what are we doing to ensure that we have a strong military to protect this country.

Apparently you know little or nothing about world history.

Family / Re: Virgin Wife, Myth Or Reality? by telexfree1: 10:37am On Oct 12, 2013
Very romantic.
I think you refer to the real chaste virgins.
FYI, our Nairaland resident virgins sees nothing wrong in playing a fully grown joystick around the entry area and probably have more than enough knowledge of bed antics to put a professional hustler out of work.

Why not just exterminate these miscreants ?
Their m,uslim brothers call them misguided yet these 'misguided people' are able to produce verses off the k.oran to back up their actions and even challenge any scholar to disprove their claim to a legitimate right to enforce the government of a.llah here on earth using any means possible.
Which respected i.slamic figure in Nigeria has stood up boldly to challenge the actions of these people and call them misguided to their face. What we see is a shameless game of deception and two faced dealings by the eminent people up north.

Personally, I have no sympathy for fanatics/terrorist. And I care less about any methods used to cripple their activities .

May God bless all the founders of this wonderful project (nairaland charity or e-helpers/TEHN). It's nice to know that despite the regular distractions I have come to associate Nairaland with e.g tribal wars , abuses etc, we can still come together like this on compassionate grounds.
Please permit me to make a suggestion or a request.

Can the initiators of this project explore options for sustainability of this program ?
Maybe after Folake's case is settled, they can actively look for next similar case to tackle. Believe me, a lot of people need help in this country.

My heart bleeds to think that this woman could have had the surgery way back in 2005 but for N140,000 (one hundred and forty thousand naira only shocked shocked) . Sometimes I get so mad at our health institutions in this country and why saving lives has to be all about money. Anyway let me not digress lest I derail and draw the ire of some doctors in the house.

What I am asking is , can we make this program sustainable ? You do not need any recognition from any body or govt to do good to your fellow man. I have always maintained that the greatest givers are those silent givers because they give out of personal conviction and that is why I disagree with Pastors who announce on the pulpit and ask members to come forward with their tithes for a special prayer. (I digress again)

The e-helpers network is a very apt name. Or maybe Nairaland Foundation. I don't know. But I do know that there are more cases like Folake's out there. Imagine living with this condition for the past 8 years because of not having N140,000. Holy Smokes . I really need to make my earthly sojourn count for something.

Good development
Does the state govt have any shares in the new company ? Hope not. Would be much better if it was 100% private sector driven .

Any way, it's better to have a govt-driven project than to have none at all.

I thought I was the only one that noticed that . Did you notice the body language too? Did you notice how many times GEJ lost focus while looking at the cameramen until Obama slightly raised his voice and emphasized certain words just to catch his attention again? Did you notice the twiddling of his thumbs through out the meeting--- a clear sign of nervousness and an exhibition of insecurity?

God, whoever supports that illiterate dummy is waste to this earth.

Apparently , you are very literate .

President Obama's Bilateral Meeting with President Jonathan of Nigeria

See, wise men are talking.

Funny to think that some 40-50 yr old blind haters on this thread can only boast of having been class reps in their university days as their greatest achievement in public service. Yet they fail to see the wisdom that has transpired in the dialogue above.
So sad.
