Just as TenQ said, light and heat energies exist even though they're not tangibles. If you dispute that existence cannot be without material body, yet we have these two for example, do you then inffer that the physical created the non physical?. If that be the case how can it be?.

It's difficult for a picture within a frame to comprehensively describe the frame in which it is housed.

I perceive that the major attack here is against God's existence, but it's an attempt in futility as He who exists outside time, space and matter which give rise to the physical, can not be subjected by the same things which he made.

My thoughts though, just wondering why church wedding has being made mandatory to new couples, Some elders told me it’s a white man's belief, that the most important is the dowry paid to the parents of the girl and the traditional, then to legally show or proof you are married, the court wedding comes in whereby you are handed the certificate of marriage.

I won't bother you guys much. I married my woman last year June during the lockdown. Things were rosy for us as a young couple till we brought in a girl of 15 years from my wife's family to stay with us in order to help my wife with house chores and other things during the time she is heavily pregnant.

Mind you, from day one I have been dating my wife, this girl has been on my neck, telling me how she will come stay with me in Lagos if I get married to her sister. That would be my greatest undoing as I grudgingly obliged after many persuasion from her Mother as well. After my marriage, she came over to Lagos to join us.

Now, she is very useless to me. She will go to school from 7am to 5pm. After coming back from school, she will take another excuse to go for evening church and come back by 8pm. No help in doing house chores. COOKING, she no sabi.. My turn off about her now is that she can eat for Africa. The little provision I manage stock at home don't go anywhere now.

The last straw that break the camel back is that she always steals my babies food, like milk, biscuits etc.

My wife is in dicey situation because she once lived with the girl's mother for like 15 years back then, and such can't just pursue her away like plague.

Right now I am fighting the urge and anger to mess her up. I have advised her on numerous occasions but it seems she can not learn easily except with hard handling. Everything bad about human traits, she has it; Lies, false swearing and the likes.

Mature minded people in the house, if you are in my shoes, what would you do?

Good day fellow nairalanders, i really don't knw how best to explain this.

I have two friends who have been staying with me for almost a year. Mind you, they are very close friends, but I've been the one providing the most in the place we stay. First they wanted to try blogging as a profession because they saw me doing it. I had to take my time to teach them all they needed to know and we all started off. After a while, they weren't getting profits like I was. I had to give them my own site to take charge and Google adsense disabled my adsense account just after a month! But we had to try out something else. I thought they knew how affiliate marketing works. I had to make sure everything was fine and good, set up ads on Facebook, build a website, and all things were going fine till I had to travel for my elder sister's wedding and before I got back, they had the Facebook account I used to run ads taken down by Facebook. At that point, you can imagine the frustration on my face. I could go on and on, but the thing here is that I see the consistency in them when I'm around. They don't even know I'm watching, but it doesn't take much time for things to blow up and we're back to square one. I had to start doing this privately, so nothing ruined it. These, my friends, are Chronic Salvation Ministries members. I'm still trying to show them some other things, but every day I pray it works for them.

I will just drop this line: anyone not interested or willing to sexually satisfy their partner (male/female) should not bother about marriage. All forms of sexual abuse are wrong:
1. Withholding sex;
2. Exchanging sex for gifts/cash;
3. Causing intentional injury to a partner during sex (outside BDSM);
4. Not making an effort to satisfy your partner;
5. Performing/incorporating acts that is shameful to the other party
6. etc.

Sex (all types) is the thing that done outside marriage is an outright sin. Other activities done together might just be inappropriate or indecent.

@stress: If something is very important to you, you make time for it or re-arrange your schedule to fit it in.

You men need to also realize that sex can be painful for women especially when they are not in the mood.
You can't just walk up to your wife and say you want to have sex, she won't bulge, try and do your part by putting her in the mood.

Stress can also make women not feel in the mood to have sex, she has lots of things to do from taking care of the children, house chores and then her own work, try and be considerate.

And men need to try and control themselves sometimes, I read on FP one time that a guy said he always has sex with his girlfriend three times a week for 3 years when they were in the relationship, Sex is not food, you guys need to tone it down

We have been married for a year now. We have been trying to conceive. Because of the emotional stress attached my wife said she can't be staying at home alone, it causes her stress. She said she wants to start doing something. At least a business.

I took a loan from my place of work and we started the business for over 2 months now. The issue now is that, I don't always have cash on me anymore. Any little money I got it's for the business. Basically, we mostly feed from the business.

Yesterday, after we returned home, she started giving me attitude, I asked her what the issue was, she started telling me how I am killing the business, not taking good care of her, not having money to take care of her and all sort of rubbish, she brought out how incompetent I am as a husband and what have you. I never said a word to reply her and its eating me up seriously, I could not sleep the whole night. This is the person that I sacrificed a lot for. I was supposed a take a professional course this November, but because of her I had to postpone it.

Please I need your advice.

PS: I did not eat the food she prepared last night.

Being a born again Christian is all about sacrifice, giving and being there for one another not always about preaching. When Christ was in this world he sacrificed a lot he helped the needy. He did not only preach about the father he made people understand what being a Christian really means.

Keep the Bible aside go and watch passion of Christ and see what being a born again Christian really means.
