I'm really so grateful that my parents made the sacrifice many years ago and moved us out of that sinking ship way before things started getting so terrible!

My main regret, if any, is that migration is no longer easy for the average Nigerian (due to US visa ban, EU restrictions etc..) too many intelligent and wonderful people are stuck in that dump site

I felt loved but used at the same time. What do I do now? How do I correct this?
I called her almost every hour, I reduced it gradually till it became twice in a day, I started declining her requests, became cold, stopped her from coming for weeks. She lost her phone recently and told me about it, she wanted a phone for Valentine's, but I told her we couldn't continue one week to the Valentine's day. I was just tired of being a mugu. Spending on her wasn't the problem, but she took my love as an avenue to pillage me of my hard-earned money. I learnt she got another phone, a costly one for that matter the next day after the breakup. She was my first girlfriend, and I'm not getting another till further notice.

Let me be honest with you; firstly, you were a little bit myopic for making paying her transport fare a ritual. that in itself was a sign that you were a massive goldmine which she fully utilize to the maximum.

She is a gold digger , a leech, who has no genuine feeling for you , she is for the pecks, and once its no longer there, she will give you attitude, which you have already seen.

There is no excuse for such over-materialistic habit, its disgusting.

My advice?... Break up with her in a matured manner, I know it's a little bit hard, but its absolutely doable. Let her go, and move on.
