- What kind of visa were you granted to come over and work?
- If your spouse had accompanied you, what kind of visa do you think he'd have been granted? Would that visa be sufficient for him to relocate and resume work there?
- I saw job vacancies similar to yours and the advertised work shift was from 7am - 8pm. Does that also apply to you?
- What advice would you give for a family with kids and both parents having to work? How do you think they could cope with the kids?

Ok, here is how its goes!
CADJPY has been making lower highs and lower lows. So I am expecting the down trend to continue but the thing is,
as seen in the chart, whenever it makes a lower high, it consolidates for over 14 days before it drops. Now its making a lower high.
As seen, the consolidation in box 1 took about 16days and the consolidation is box 2 took over 20days.
As such, i am expecting same consolidation in box 3 with almost the same number of days.
but the beautiful thing about playing the patience game here is, it drops fast by over 400 pips after the consolidation.
So if you are able to wait on it, i reckon you add it to your watchlist.

Put:
10 SMA
20 SMA
Bollinger bands, 20 periods, 2.00 deviation

That price drop happens anytime we have this combination:
1. A Bollinger squeeze
2. Candles are in the middle of the Bollinger bands
3. 10 SMA crosses over 20 SMA from top to below.

They happened:
- 24 Jul '19
- 24 Apr '19
- 10 SMA crossed over 13 Mar '19 but there was no Bollinger squeeze then
- 20 Nov '18





Could be plain coincidences though.

First learn, then practice demo for some time, finally go live and blow your trading account twice, then realize your mistakes and start making little profit by not being greedy, else, it's going to be your third account to be blown up again.

I got hooked on FX trading in Nov '18, through a bunkum who didn't even know much about trading, but was peddling EA for sale. Tripled my deposits by 28 Dec '18, got everything wiped off 03 Jan '19, restarted and still blew everything within 3 weeks. After about 4 episodes of funding my accounts and having everything wiped off, I decided to take a break from everything FX for about 3 months.

Got pissed off, disabled the robots and started manual trading (all without prior training), with just following chart movements every minute. Made N243,000 on top of N253,000 deposit, within 2 weeks. Now I'm on the verge of having my accounts wiped off.

A kind NLer here on this thread intervened in my situation and is working to help me rescue my deposits. Slowly but surely and steadily.

While that rescue is in progress, I also decided to go back to Babypips.com (something I never did initially) and start all the way back from the basics. Started the courses Thursday Sept 12th from Kindagerten and I'm currently in Elementary, reading Japanese candlesticks.

In hindsight, I've come to understand that every profit I'd made in the past was based for a major part on luck and shooting in the dark. I lost more than N4m, made less than one-sixth in profits - a costly amount spent on blind experimentation.

I would advise every young trader here, to first don on the robe of humility, go back to the basics, read and assimilate all you can (Babypips is a great site to start from), do A LOT of demo trade, develop a good history of profitable trades on the demo, before venturing live.

It'll save you a whole lot of high blood pressure, strained relationships (yes even your personal relationships will be affected) and stress.

I'm saying these from personal experiences. That's my reason for sharing. Peace.

Place a counter trade with equal lot size.

If you were selling $1/pip and it is running at a loss, simply BUY $1/pip on the same pair. This way, any further loss is stopped (until you close either the buy or the sell side).

I strongly suggest that you learn how to draw ACCURATE support/resistance levels as an addendum so that you will be able to resolve the trade at precise price points (usually for NO loss).

I learnt that the hard way long ago. Now I'm trying to resolve the open buy/sell orders. With as minimal loss as possible. Still yet to master the skill of determining accurate support and resistance points.

I think that's what you are recommending in your 2nd paragraph. My account is quite messed up currently.

The first trade was the Sell 0.24. Later had to counter with the Buy 0.19 and an additional 0.05 later, when it looked like the trend would not reverse.

P.S. Team SL, biko don't crucify me yet. Still learning O. And I'm allergic to loss of any form.
