As written in the book of Romans 10;10..''For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved''.

I accept Jesus as my saviour but I am not the churchy type. I am tired of these so-called men of God with their annoying attitude. They will say touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm bla bla bla or judge not so that thou shall not be judged but we are humans. Their attitude alone would even make someone backslide, I have worshipped in several churches in the past so I know what am talking about.


I have decided to set aside religion in my life, my relationship with God is one on one. Am cool with that.

It is no brainer...If you believe in Hell and heaven and you prepare to be in one of the two then you die and realize none exists I guess you have nothing to lose but if you don't believe and then realize after death that heaven and GOD exists, you and I know the rest of the story.

The question we should ask is...''what will it take for you to belieev in GOD?'' in my opinion, Nothing.

When I gave my life to Jesus at a very tender age, I thought it will be an experience that will be void of challenges but as I grew and life began to take away my innocence, I suddenly came face to face with the reality that I can never ever live a sinless life. I constantly battle with addictions, bad habits, and sins then fear crept in and I began to doubt my salvation, I began to doubt my chances of ever making heaven.

But I became liberated when I found out that GOD is never hard on me. All he wants me to do is to never ever condemn myself because I struggle with sins and addictions even after I have accepted Christ as savior(Romans 8:1) but that I continually work out my salvation with fear and trembling(Philippians 2:12) and this simply means that I must never find pleasure in sins, but acknowledge my weaknesses, but if I do sin, I can always come to him to ask for forgiveness, mercies, and strength to carry on(1 John 2:1)even if I struggle with sins till the point of death...

The narrative above applies to many believers who had at a point accepted Jesus but still struggled with their salvation afterward.

The secret the Devil does not want believers to understand is that the moment you give your life to Jesus, you are guaranteed a place in heaven if you do not give up on yourself because GOD will never ever give up on you. The devil will constantly accuse you with your sins so that you can give up your salvation but the gospel truth is that Your bad habits, addictions, and even sins can never ever separate you from the love of GOD as long as you are always willing to let go and allow GOD to help you.
Just as it is written...Romans 8 Verses 38 to 39. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

No matter the sins, addictions or bad habits you struggle with, you can do away with them totally if you sincerely want to. The biggest problem is that people always believe they can fight the battles on their own but it is impossible for anyone to do that...all you need is ask the Holy Spirit to help you overcome whatever bad habit, addiction, and sins you battle with and you will be amazed how easy it will be for you to hate those vices you thought you can never do without.

The bottom line is that as long as you come to Jesus, you are guaranteed heaven if you don't give up on yourself even if you struggle with sins till the day you die...

I think what he’s trying to say or insinuate as u call it is marry a man for more than just because he has a job or the type of job he does. Why? Cos a lady isn’t ment to be 100% dependent on a guy, bf or husband.

Well, I won't call anybody myopic here and I don't encourage laziness but we should be more flexible while thinking. I personally know someone who learned trade in Onitsha and moved to Lagos when he was around 21, his highest qualification was SSCE. Business was not going well as expected so this same guy gambles playing whot and bet9ja, even asking me for a small loan to stake sometimes. One evening while drinking beer at a bar after bet9ja winning, he met a chubby lady at their shawarma spot and offered to pay for hers. She just smiled and said okay, my guy asked for her number and she did not give it to him but asked for his number instead, he thought he had lost as usual.
His phone rang after midnight but to cut the story short, the lady just visited from America and she is a citizen, teaches primary school children in the U.S and holds a masters degree. She knows the financial capacity of my friend but decided to help him. She sent him a car within 6 months worth 2.5m after leaving for the U.S, came back to Nigeria some months later and sponsored their traditional wedding, bought him gold, nice clothes and stuffs.
Today my guy is in Philadelphia working with the help of this same woman, they now have a son, my guy is talking about millions of naira now and still an SSCE holder. This woman spent her first 16 years in Nigeria before moving to yankee. Now imagine if she had the same mentality as a typical naija woman...Male or female, anyone can help or support each other, stop being selfish if you have the power and means to help someone. How many naija women with MSc fit marry SSCE holder for here? Most would say he is not in their social class.

It depends alot on the couple, Mike bamiloye was jobless when he git married, today he owns a tv station and produces movies overseas, C.E.O Cosharis was so joblessly broke that he couldn't get a clothe for his wedding, today he owns one of the biggest car dealership in Nigeria, most of this billionaire today had nothing when the got married. Some Nigerian guys in U.S today were not working, their fiancé took them to the U.S and today they are medical doctors. It just depends on the couples and their savings. Some guys are not working, but they have managed to save $18,000, Some are working and the amount in the account no pass $2,000. Its good for a man to be working before marriage, however, its better if he has a good savings in the account and doing side hustles before main job comes.

I saw a nigerian guy on Upwork who earned over $70,000 in the last 5 years as a freelancer, he might not be working at the moment, but i want to believe any reasonable guy in his position would have saved at least $25,000. Even though he might not have a client for 7months, he his still better off with the guy who works 9-5 and earns 200k naira monthly. May God help the MEN and bless their supporting strikers, the woman.

Well, the simple answer anybody will give is a resounding NO....but should a man marry a lady who has no job?... I guess that is a norm but wait for this...what if a lady marries a man with a job and then the man losses the job afterward?...will she leave him?.... Now you thinking...

Don't get it twisted...it makes no sense for any man to go into marriage without a job or a means of livelihood especially when a man’s potential is harder to see than the number of commas on his bank statement forgetting the fact that wealth acquisition is progressive, a continuum aided by hard work and determination...

I strongly believe that the reason why there is so much emphasis on a man's financial status as a criterion for marital suitability is because of the financial dependence mindset of many ladies on their men. In my opinion, when it comes to making money, there is no weaker sex hence I see nothing wrong with a lady who has a job or means of livelihood getting married to her man even if he has no job at that point in time...Job will always come and there is no guaranty that the one who has a job won't lose it.

A lady who finds it cool dating a man that has no job and happily performs wifely duties for him should not have issues with marrying the same man? Simply have a low key wedding and work hard together with him to build finances before making babies rather than allow yourself to be used as an intimacy gadget by the ''jobless guy''.

Ladies have equal opportunity to be financially independent just as the men and every lady must strive to be financially independent so that she can be with any man of her choice rather than marry a man simply because he is financially capable and also avoid using a job which can be there today and be gone tomorrow or financial status which is subject to change as a yardstick to being with any man.
