Celebrities / Re: Heidi Montag? Wtf by topup: 4:18am On Feb 06, 2010
Yeah, she is obviously a very insecure woman, but there is an element of hunger-for-fame, I mean not all celebrity happenings have to be followed by cameras, there are tons of celebrities who have had surgery but have kept it well undercover, she has had interviews, made so many statements, she's slowly becoming the jordan of America, no one will take her seriously. I feel sorry for her, I think she should have just continued with the therapy, I know changing yourself can be a quick fix, but she is still talking about having even bigger breasts.

God bless her and please give her rest within herself because she seems to be a very troubled girl.

I thought you loved her, if you knew what loving her really meant, you wouldn't just want to bang her, especially if she is implying that she is not interested.

Romance / Re: Ladies: Do U Like It Wen Men Stare At Ur Properties?(behind & Bobbie!) by topup: 10:37pm On Feb 05, 2010
I think it says more about the guy than it does about the girl because some guys will always stare even through a buttoned blouse and a pair of loose trousers - we call them pervs here tongue

As for me, it generally doesn't bother me, until when it is some dodgy looking guy licking his lips and rubbing his palms together, or if I'm not wearing anything remotely sexy.

When a guy perves when you're not even looking remotely sexy, it makes you think 'he really must be imagining the girl unclothed'.

P.s. This is only a fair comparison if we are comparing the breasts and bottom of a woman to the groin area of a man, because biceps and chest are not necessarily 'sex-related' areas.

If a girl stares at your biceps it doesn't necessarily mean she is imaging them naked or wants to hop into bed with them - but who knows tongue!!
Properties / Re: Any Architects In The House? by topup: 6:58pm On Feb 04, 2010
Mining? I don't see why not, architects have been said as being 'fellows who know a little about everything' (whilst engineers have been said to be 'fellows who know a lot about one thing.')

I don't see why you can't branch out, though since you have seen the trials and tribulations of the industry you are able to have extra insight as to the best ways to accomplish this.

More jobs for Nigerians is definitely a plus, but we should be working towards, sustainable jobs, what is the time frame predicted for this project?

Oh yes, since Nigeria is slightly behind on the mining front, there will be plenty of precedents to look at and use, issues that need to be considered is how the mining will affect the terrain, surrounding areas, locals, and workers.

But I believe with perseverance you can achieve it.
Romance / Re: How To Overcome Depression After A Failed Relationship by topup: 10:55pm On Feb 03, 2010
Dear poster, I feel your pain. So sorry, I am very sure that she has not just forgotten all about you, but her decision has to be seen as permanent until you get over her, because she will unite with another man.

Please don't feel like all your efforts went to waste, you have grown and learnt more about the man you are, and we cannot guarantee that the man she is with will treat her much better.

You just have to be grateful in a way that this happened before your marriage - man!! What she did was terrible.

I can't imagine how you feel (though earlier I said "I feel your pain" tongue)

Please keep busy, join a gym, exercise, get a makeover, go out more often with your friends, don't just sit at home sulking, but feel free to vent here smiley

Hahaha, MrBrownJay - of course it should ALWAYS look good, even at the jeopardy of achieving something different.

I love the pics platinumnk, so lovely, is that a lace-front? I can't even see the lace or closure.

Madlady, I don't normally like leaving my natural hair out, but I really like the style of your hair in your profile pic, I'm sure with the right hairdresser, the hair will look its best, I have seen some attempts of that style that didn't look so good.

In response to Larez, it seems by you exaggerating the topography of the site, it seems all the water will gather in that valley that the major road has been built in (I can't see the road name), this indicates that that major road is in danger of being flooded, not just during a freak weather incident, but repeatedly because of bad planning, if there isn't adequate drainage placed in this area, it'll be the norm. Thanks for the exercise.

What projects are you doing at the moment, I would like to read them to see if they are suitable for the site.

As for other posters, there is always a chance to become published onto the 'nigerian architecture' blog, with your idea and scheme towards a 'better' Nigeria. Engineering solutions are also welcome. Please check out the blog if you are unfamiliar with it.

Romance / Re: Damn Just Realised I Actually Have A Lot Of Male Friends Rather Than Females. by topup: 3:53am On Jan 28, 2010
I have like twice as many girl friends as I do guys, but I prefer the conversations I have with guys, I'm not saying guys don't bitch, but they limit it, they don't let it carry them away on a cloud of hate.

I don't really tell people too much about my deepest desires, wants and aspirations but that's me, I like keeping my secrets secrets, I'm more action than talk.

Right now, my girl friends are stuck talking about guys and relationships that they do not have, it gets really repetitive so I just smile and block my ears, or go and do something more productive.

Romance / Re: Women Which Do You Prefer, Se|x Or Cute Factor? by topup: 3:31am On Jan 28, 2010
I prefer to appear cute and innocent initially. It works because you are less likely going to get guys hitting on you, and thinking that just because you exude sex appeal that you are 'ripe' for the taking.

I have many friends who because of their big bosoms say that this is a problem.

Also, it's nice to feel like you can be wild and unleash yourself with your boyfriend/spouse, not the whole world can imagine what you look like unclothed.

With appearing cute, you have the option to sex things up if you feel, like what's to stop Jessica Alba wearing a v-neck (and she has brought out the sexy before, so we know she's got it.

I have a male friend, who says he can always tell if a girl's going to be great - in bed by just looking at them, that he can tell even those who look innocent.
As you know you can't always judge a cute book by its cover, so this 'gift' of his is pretty nifty smiley.

try 1b and 33

Oh. . yes!! My sister tried this once, it's really coppery, nice mix.
Fashion / Re: New Hairstyle! by topup: 3:16am On Jan 28, 2010
Yeah, I think brown weaves are really lovely, I usually opt for the colour 1b and occasionally 2, I usually mix them though so . . .
Fashion / Re: What's The Point Of Fixing Fake Eyelashes? by topup: 3:14am On Jan 28, 2010
Funny thing is this topic probably does not address the fake eyelashes but instead the badly-applied fake eyelashes. Only until you zoom in close up can you see Cheryl Cole's fake eyelashes and many other red-carpet divas, it's the everyday girls who don't have a $1000 makeup artist at their beck and call, who go and purchase the "make up shoot" style eyelashes that are the ones who give it a bad name.
Fashion / Re: Skin Discolouration by topup: 3:10am On Jan 28, 2010
I'm sorry, anything stronger than that 'poison' that was originally applied to your face would probably do even worse damage. I am not in a position to advise you, because you could end up doing serious harm to your skin, I would advise you see a qualified doctor. If your skin is yellow, I believe it is because of bleaching, you could try covering your face in foundation (makeup) or a tinted moisturiser until you find the solution.
Fashion / Re: Any Remedy For The Removal Of Stretch Marks? by topup: 3:08am On Jan 28, 2010
There are creams online, but most things don't work, it's better if your friend just learns to get used to them, at least they are on his shoulders and not somewhere more obvious or larger. It's a form of scarring so if you find a cream that can get rid of scars without causing serious damage to his skin, that's what would be best for him to use.

Luckily stretchmarks fade away over time. . years though, but they fade.
Fashion / New Hairstyle! by topup: 3:00am On Jan 28, 2010
Hey house!!

I'm bored and looking for my mind to be opened to all types of hairstyles, if you've got an idea send it in. I'm so confused, I haven't really cared about my hair for some time now, and now that feeling of 'I want a new look' has come,

What do you suggest (PICTURES PLEASE), my personality:

-fun,
-cute, etc

I prefer hairstyles that are:

-practical,
-can be styled into at least 3 different ways and if not, it must look AMAZING in its one style instead,
-coloured brown, burgundy, chocolate, pink, black (don't tend to like black) honey you name it I've tried it,
-cut neatly, not messy 'everything-in-one' hairstyles.

Please do not suggest; Rihanna hair (I am not shaving half my head).

I don't mind weaves, ideally I would love my hairstyle to come as a closed weave, or braids, I'm trying to protect my hair.

Now. . my hair is in cornrows at the sides, with my natural/real hair left out in the front for a quiff.
smiley

Much appreciated!!
Romance / Re: "Tokunbos", will you fall for them? by topup: 11:41pm On Jan 27, 2010
A woman just has to be smart, 'tokunbo' or not smiley

Even the local guy could have plans to marry another woman, if you work harder to gain insight an wisdom you can apply it to anything, whilst taking the easier route and categorizing guys can lead to stereotypes, misconceptions and lost chances, and still land you in trouble.
Romance / Re: Valentine Tips And Gift: by topup: 11:39pm On Jan 27, 2010
You can ask the lady in question's friends, though they are very likely to tell her if you're not dating, and some friends will tell her and ruin the surprise anyway, but at least you'll get her what she likes and also she'll be on her best behaviour, and would probably pretend that she has no idea.

Or. . you could just think about her personality, things you've heard her say she want-ed to do or see or places she wants to go, it also depends on your budget and also how you feel about her, if you're not that serious, she will be more forgiving, but if this has been a long relationship then it is much more important to get the right gift, there is no perfect gift - well not until she opens it and says so, and remember it's not always about the money.

Dinner, date, trip, pamper her etc.
