I borrowed money from a loan app cashlion for 7days and when it was due I never add the money to pay so I.have to keep talking from other loan app just to settle others ...before I could be smart I now owe the total of 385k...not one app all of them combine together....pls its giving me mental stress and I really need help...

Did you ever think that employees could be sacked and their livelyhood disspears because of your inability to pay back loans when the company goes bankrupt or liquidates.

There's nothing predatory about this. Those apps are meant for people who need small quick loans or urgent ones they can easily repay.

They don't even have stringent measures like banks. Most Nigerians are known to abuse things. Can you read where that guy said he took loans from different apps. He knew he couldn't pay them. The average Nigerian is desperately wicked, that's why things are the way they are.

He should be arrested and jailed. People are desperately wicked.

That's why I always have a hard time helping people in need as regards to personal business, because they only lookout for how to ruin your business.

Someone like the OP can go and loot a shop that has been given him freebies during riot or a protest.

But, here's the thing I don't have a LinkedIn Profile, I've never had and I'm not sure if I ever will. My CV, cover letter and those two sites are all the tools I use to land interviews/jobs.

Those sites are authentic and they really work. I didn't know anybody or didn't need to know anybody to land a job at the organizations I did. I just followed a process and got there, so never buy into that crap that in Nigeria you need to know someone to get a job,

People evolve though I may change and later create a LinkedIn Profile, but my CV, cover letter are all the tools and they often work for me.

Alright i know some few people who don't have a LinkedIn profile too and they have great jobs. I think it also depends on the kind of jobs.

Some companies, especially big private ones believe in efficiency more than connection or referrals. It gives you self confidence.

One thing i discourage people from is one man company. They usually behave like King Herod.

I heard Workforce has a bad rep for ghosting candidates after pre-employment screening.

It is not a surprise that they belittled you, it's a very lousy recruitment firm. I don't know about Dragnet though.

Uber uses mostly pricing to keep their system free of hoodlum-riders. I also heard they ban drivers, I don’t know if they ban riders too.

Even the OP said he registered on Bolt first because Uber’s registration is stressful. That should tell you a lot.

They also ban riders too, when I went to Abuja at the Airport, the Uber driver that picked me said he had to confirm my ratings before he accepted my request me, because he owns his personal car & I noticed the car was a very recent Corolla. According to him, he said he reports riders very well, and Uber actually makes a move or refund him if he has any payment issues with a rider. Uber actually flags that rider's account if they verify that the issue has been happening consistently with that rider, It means the rider is a confirmed troublesome person.

The difference between Bolt and Yellow Bus is that one is a car & the other is a Bus. That's all. Same Behavior, same attitude.

Drivers can also use another person's account on Bolt, this particular one is very annoying because It may encourage kidnapping.

I know she charges 500k - 1.5M per week for her Ads as at 2015, at least last time I spoke with her via her Email, which is good money but she is worth Billions of Naira which sources are not necessarily tied to that blogging site itself.

I typically don't comment on threads like this, but I felt like I owed you some truth from another brother who has traveled a similar path.

Like you, I consider myself to have an above average level of intelligence and had life bursting on all sides as I moved from one position to another at different multinationals. I eventually crushed my GMAT and headed out of Naija to a top B-school. I had my eyes at the very top and nothing was going to stop me. And, by the way, unlike in your case, mine was self-funded with some loans on the side. Got my MBA and decided it was time to settle down, but all those good girls that hung around me were all taken. Trust me, this would be more pronounced if you decide, as I assume, to settle in North America.

After B-school, you should be making loads of cash. As someone from a consulting background, nailing a good job or getting into MBB may not be too difficult, but the higher you fly, the lonelier it gets at the top. That's when you will come full circle to realise that LIFE IS MORE THAN MONEY OR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS.

I'm really hoping you never have to come to the point where you understand why God through the Bible says that a good woman is hard to find, and her worth far more than diamonds. Only God gives true wisdom. Be wise and ask him for help, so you never have to regret this decision or indecision. Cheers!
