the new station  on the Globecast bouquet-nss 7 ku-OCCA AFRICA is very good for us all.Can you imagine all the major qualifiers were shown by the station.It showed Nigeria vs Kenya,Mali vs Ghana,etc.The signal was very clear and clean.It linked DSTV and AFNEX clean feeds.Please rescan your receiver to pick it.

Gambian TV 4140 H 3500 is on intel 901(same position with AIT). 3906 H 2844 Channel ten is back on Intel906. 4031 H 3248 MTVPAKISTAN,3968 H 11481 vh1 pakistan on Paksat.They are all on C Band.TV Malawi and TPA 1 and 2 Angola are picked easily on NSS 7 Ku band.Tv Malawi shows the old wonderful CBN 80s serial Another Life every weekend.It brought back old memories.I will update you on new channels when they are available.

I have tried the ragolis funnel option on my 3m fibre dish.It didnt shake the signal a bit.I am waiting for other discoveries.I observed that the weakest signal on Nilesat that has CNN came out with 48/50% yesternight but my Showsports that would have come out with 50/52% refused to turn green.this is very strange.what is wrong?

My 3m fibre dish nearly suffered a tragedy last Thursday after a heavy storm.I was away in Lagos so I didnt know until Saturday night when I returned to Abeokuta.One of the two handles directly under the dish holding the weight nearly gave way.the handle twisted the metal under the dish nearly tearing away.I promptly called mide2008 for advice,and a welder who came to fix it on Sunday afternoon.I immediately re-set the Nilesat position,and it was hard to believe that the accident didnt affect Nilesat at all with my BBC hitting 66% even in a cloudy weather.But I am yet to fix my Hotbird and Eurobird2-Orbit.I couldnt pick them again but I will try to re-allign with the DSTV position when I return at the weekend.Suggestions are very much welcome before the re-allignment.

the 37.6w position has a feed frequency beaming to Africa.Has anyone tried all the new frequencies?pls give us ur reports.

Please let us stop abusing each other over the exorbitant prices of accessories.I noticed this between olofofo and another honourable member.If one market is too expensive,then proceed to the next.what if olofofo got it a higher price from his sources?or what if his products are of higher quality?I learnt there are several versions of cards in the market.pls let us exercise restraint when reacting to prices.I amsure we all remember Echolink prices hen it came out.Some sold it at 25k,some 22,21,20,19,18k.I heard it is now leser than 15k.Let's wait and see what happens with the cards too.

thanks to mide2008,just got info that showtime patch got out yesternight on sat-television.Nilesat signal is really improving.i got the weakest tp of CNN at 48/52% up till 11am when I left home.Showsports was 50/54%.this is good news.thank God I didnt scatter the dish when the signal was awful.
nova update for gamma loader is out.I am currently downloading the new echolink patch but no jsc+ patch yet.pls check the google group for the new showtime patch.
