One of my guys wants to marry a lady so that both of them will japa to the UK in January 2023.

How it started. Two weeks ago, he told me that the lady refused his marriage proposal and she is not taking him serious despite he had constantly pushed for the relationship to work. He called me today and told me that the lady had accepted to marry him since she couldn't secure a scholarship as planned and she had no option for tuition fee payment. This my guy's brothers are in abroad who are willing to sponsor him. He is now trying to pay the tuition fee of the lady while he follows her on dependant visa and from now till December, they want to marry according to what he told me. Considering CAS, Visa process, Proof of Fund which requires 28 working days and flight tick plus the money involved, I was shocked when he called me to seek my opinion on this.

The lady never agreed but she has agreed to marriage because she wants to Japa and no money. Now, my guy is the option only left for her.

I don't know how to advice him because he wanted us to see tomorrow.

How many of Una know how to do CPR? If you are alone with a family member and he suddenly collapse, and would require CPR you go sabi do am? How would you realise a person needs CPR ?
See ehn, the country is rubbish. No blame any hospital, hospitals dey do money business, but the government that is supposed to put things in place are not doing it.

In u.k, you as an employee will undergo series of training.
As a nurse in Naija, I never went through any training asides from school. Rather we learn as we work, or from past experiences.

I don pay money of person wey I no Sabi, all because the person Japa from hospital without paying. Hospitals are to save lives, yes but Nigerians are cunny beings.

Haha when I rushed my late dad to the hospital, the doctor used a steth to confirm he was dead on arrival. I asked how he arrived at that conclusion, he said he has no pulse lol. We've seen cases where victims with no heartbeat/pulse are brought back to life through defibrillators or CPR. I begged him to at least try something. The way the doctor just dey sluggish like he was clueless made me lose hope instantly. Our health care system in nigeria is in so much decay. An emergency situation is synonymous to a death sentence. In developed countries you go see as doctors , nurses and paramedics go dey rush and run helter-skelter to attend to a victim during emergencies in A&E. For naija here dem go just dey waka and yawn like they forced them to do the job.
