Lies, you won't act the same way. America has bases in the pacific with missiles pointed at China and you want China to join an arms control agreement with U.S.

America has moved its strategic assets to the pacific to counter China's rise it is called "U.S pivot to Asia" and you think China would limit its arms in the face of such threat?

A world where America keeps surrounding its percieved foes with military bases those countries won't risk their destruction by leaving themselves weak and defenseless. That's why Iran keeps building its offensive and defensive capability. The main reason China is building and militarizing Islands in the South China sea. So China won't be stupid to enter any arms reduction treaty with the U.S.
How is any of this different from the message in my comment?

If I were China, I would act the same way.

How can one country be trying to limit the nuclear capabilities of other countries, but keeping their own nuclear arsenal intact.

And the US wonders why NK, Russia, and China never takes their faux morality serious.

Family / Re: Does This Really Minimize Fuel Consumption? by Unnerve: 7:51am On Jul 08, 2020
The only way to minimize/reduce fuel consumption on electric generators is to reduce the load on it. Anything else you're doing like placing the fuel valve halfway, adjusting the intake of the carburettor air-fuel mixture, or fiddling with the throttle speed to reduce RPM, will have a negative effect on the engine overtime.

It's much better for the carburettor to get more fuel than is required and store the excess, than to get less which can cause a reduction in engine RPM and power output or eventual stalling.

Just reduce the load connected to your generator and you're good.
Make use of energy saving bulbs in your home, if you have to run your washing machine, set it to a low power shorter cycle otherwise don't use it, avoid running your ACs if you don't absolutely need it, no use of electric cookers, etc

@bold:

There in lies your answer.
Everyone in Nigeria who isn't a Muslim, is a Christian.
An atheist who married/will marry inside a church, is a Christian, a fake one but still a Christian nonetheless, lol

And the above is probably why this argument you guys have been having continues to drag on, not just on the internet, but also in our social life.

True Christians know exactly what submission means. Problem is, there aren't many true Christians anymore, just title holders.

Your answer lies in the bolded. There's a difference between what you claim and what you are.

You people should stop dragging Christianity nah.
What kind of man would you submit to? The one who loves you like God loves his church, or the one who provides for you like Solomon provided for his harem?

I already figure you want the best of both worlds, but you still humour me. Lol

A man who acts like that should not expect loyalty from his wife.
You come off like one who dreams of a fairytale married life. Cinderella or Snow White kinda marriage, lol

You Maria, even you when married, will prefer to have the final say on how any money you earned from your own hard work, should be spent.
This is a human thing, not a gender thing.

I'm just thinking out loud

If indeed the requirement for submission from a wife is love from her husband, why then do women who claim to be Christians only submit completely to a man with money and not the man who loves them like God loves the church? grin

Which behoves my point. Marriage should be a partnership where each party play their respective roles and still get equal respect from each other.

A woman's voice or influence should not be restricted to how much she is contributing. Decisions should be assessed and made together irrespective of whose resources is being expended.

But men just think the final decision is their, probably because they earn more or because they think they are superior.
True.

But do you think men in western societies have that same mentality? If not, why not?

What matters is whether it’s true or not. Not whether I did it too or not. Maybe I’m not interested in sharing that much information. Who know?

Me and a few chics I know are not enough of a population sample to determine if the truth for all women depends on our personal experiences.
You’re just curious for your own self.
Obviously.

Well whatever you say.

I just wish I had met more women like those whom you say can have sex without developing love and forming attachments to me. My single days would have been so much less complicated, lol.

For instance, my husband wanted to embark on a project years ago and I advised him not to. It was afterall both our resources irrespective of who earns it. Eventually he went ahead and did it and I had no option but to 'submit'. Eventually everything I predicted came to pass and we lost a small fortune in that venture. And no, I'm not a prophetess or gifted with the power of seeing the future. I'm just better at being practical and thinking objectively.

Needless to say, I stopped being 'submissive' after that.

Perhaps he didn't listen to you because he felt he alone earned those resources and hence it was his final decision to make.

Doesn’t matter what I say on here. It won’t change what’s true for all the world’s female population.
But it does matter, no?
I mean considering that I'm simply trying to understand if you formed that opinion because it's something you did personally.

It’s the internet. Anyone can say what they like but in real life we know many women have sex just for the sake of it. No love involved. No money involved.
Do you, or rather, did you?

Maybe you didn’t mean to imply it but it’s all too common for men to use their “biology“ as excuse to be layabouts. And smugly tell you as a woman that you don’t understand. But when you do understand as a woman and can accurately express the same tendencies as they do, then it’s not your biology that to blame. You’re just a slut grin

Like how all Nigerian girls are sluts but the boys they are having sex with aren’t. For the boys it’s their biology at fault. grin
Oh well

A contrary opinion does not necessarily mean judging neither is pointing out cause and Effect. I also think you should take your own advise.

You did not extend this sympathy to the OP you quoted because he is male.

Just how the lady could make a mistake because she did not 'know better', it did not occur to you that the guy narrating the story could also have made mistakes because he did not 'know any better'?

I very well understand that men have an opportunist mentalist towards sex and will sleep with any girl willing to.

It takes a man who is assertive and visionary by training, self-awareness/discovery or religion to overcome that impulse.

Cc: Geng

True, & takes us back to that thread about men learning to say NO to sex even if offered on a platter.

I think you meant to say lack of control

By the way it’s not unique to men. Many women will let anything/anyone stick them too when they feel h0rny.
And no it’s not something to be proud of.
It just is.
I don't know if many women will agree with you here, lol. but yes, it just is and I never did imply it was something to be proud of as a man as I'm sure you did not either despite your caveat.

Brother Ollins,

If this lady is as terrible as this, how were you able to get an erection to stick it into her?

How did you start the toasting to get her into your bed and arms?

The same magic you worked to get her pregnant, use it again.

It is in you like peak!
Funny question, but not surprising coming from a woman. Lol

You don't understand the unique electrical impulses of a man's brain. Most men don't need to believe a woman is great or the best before sticking it into her.
The problem usually begins when he gets carried away by how good the sex was and then marries her just because of it, e.g the OP

Some fathers do that to their daughters. It all depends on individual perception. Some might continue way into adulthood, while some stop at a certain age.

Think about it in the way people discipline their children. Some stop certain methods of discipline when their children get to a certain age, while some continue even when the child graduates from university. It's all about individual perception.
As long as you agree that it's okay for fathers to do with their daughters what mothers do with their sons, that's all that matters.

You want real American family law, read the following article. In case you are too lazy, read the bold.
It's alright then, you're probably going to start insulting me if we go on.

From what I can conclude from your stance on the thread so far, you are of the opinion that American women do not benefit financially from divorces, it's men who do but for some reason, women are the ones filing for this same divorce the most.

I guess that says a lot about these women, and it's not a flattering.

Have a good one.
