Asamota:Find and give them na. Me, I'm doing a high skill job but the pay is low, after all the high skill. To go to higher pay, I need to get more higher skill again. I'm not defending them O. |
adecz:Now you are asking the CORRECT question. Even the police that arrested them, are not even earning enough salary. |
Asamota:What can we do? Their senior Mechanics, carpenters, plumbers, tailors, salesmen... were not making enough money. Customers treating/cheating them anyhow. The youth now saw other yahoo boys getting big money and so decided to follow their yahoo elders and learn from them. - In foreign countries these trades: carpenter, plumber etc are protected by guilds. You learn it, get certificate and fix your price. The customer must use your service and pay full price. They don't have any other roadside option to get cheaper prices from as we do in Nigeria. We SPOILT the system here in Nigeria by patronising roadside plumber, tailor... people without certificate. They charged cheaper price. but they earned less money as well. Now, the youth are not ready to follow that LESS MONEY direction. And are instead going for FULL TIME scamming and juju. WE caused the youth's problem. |
This is a simple thing na. Start a business. Start producing, or selling whatever product or service. That one will never fail you. As you are doing it, you can later apply for a job with full confidence that your business is there at your back. The business doesn't have to be big million dollar setup. It can be plaiting hair or selling moi-moi. The important thing is to just START IT. Otherwise you end up here on Nairaland, jobless, wasting your time arguing and fighting with the whole of Nigeria. Job is by luck. |
kerry57:As it is now, nothing has been marked on anybody's face or hand. The technology is just reading the face and hand and you can go free. I guess the next stage is when something will have to be put inside either your face or hand maybe a type of wireless sensor so that from a distance, the payment/transaction can be made. That is the one when people will have to decide whether or not to embed the sensor in their bodies. |
godofuck231:If you are strong, build your own house. She knows the strength of her husband who followed to build the house. and mr SIMP strength is not up to that. So you just settle in your provided position as child/simp and live under her command till you can use sense, run and build your own house. |
ids4real:Kukuma just stay in court and contest every landlord around before you even rent the house. Abi. Save time for late argument by arguing with yourself first. |
armyofone:The story and pictures come here on Nairaland. We read, comment, insult each other and then swip off the story to read the next story and forget about this one.. Nothing is done. Ntothing changes. |
Vinnie2000:If the person has stayed in the state 15 to 20 years. OK. Fine What of the person's children? They should wait 15 to 20 years as well or their own is automatic from day 1? |
You will not go and solve your problem in your country. You come and go to another person's country and be making noise on the road. How many times did you see London people jumping up and down on the streets of Nigeria? They stay in their country box their head and solve their problems. Finish |
Lipscomb:The people driving those buses are untrainable. But you who can be trained will cannot do the work because the payment is too small. |
0monnak0da:The man dat use to on the signal is not arand! - Everything in Nigeria is undermanaged with untrained and unpaid staff. Hense sh!t like this will continue to happen. |
abiolamitodun:They blocked cyber attacks They also blocked the correct result join inside. |
Angelfrost:I think that with food, photographs have to be taken specially otherwise it will easily look terrible. All those food industry pictures you see like Golden Morn, Cornflakes, indomie, were taken with special cameras and setup not ordinary phone.

Brittbreaker:I went to boarding house and we used to slap junior boys. They would fly, revolve in the air and land. FGC warri. Try me |
JoshTim:17k in 1970? Or 17k in 2010 or 2023? It's different O, shey you know? |
Brittbreaker:And so what? Old people should not browse Internet again or what? |
Comkash:Industrial Training ba? I earned N2500 in 2000 |
budaatum:We have to calculate inflation on that your N8 of 1980 to find the equivalent in 2023. It should be something about N25, 000 now. My dad's new car cost him N5000 as of 1977. A new common brand car now costs at least N10 million. |
Ehen!. Elon Musk has spoilt it! Ghen-Ghen! |
Justbeingreal:Every country has an identity. Nigeria doesn't seem to have a clearly defined identity. The people are going left and right at the same time, jamming themselves. We want to be westernised and traditional at the same time. |

Urheadmaster:Lagos is their village. Lagos was developed and they have no more village. Hence they roam about the streets destroying other's properties and businesses. They have no more home or village. And this is the cause of all their issues. |
sofeo:Nigeria's problem is that we're still trying to work out who senior who? I senior you. Gan si down. Eh me!? Who are you? I senior you first. See my 5 cars. |
Jii95:It's a pity. Initially he won't have bothered about it. But later on, as the terrible grammar continues to bombard his ears in EVERY SINGLE CONVERSATION, the guy will just be having headache and lose all interest in the girl. A crase woman that speaks proper English would even be more preferable to him. |
Hatrick01:But you people will go and look for girls and sisters in another family to marry and do girlfriend abi? The stress your escaped from not having sister, you will carry it in relationship and marriage. No escape |
doneback04:People japa, bank staff japa? Then it's only aberos and area boys that will remain in Nigeria and torment everyone else around them. |
