Powersurge:Who told them they are ugly? Who is the person that setup the rules as to who is fine and who is ugly and why ugly people MUST adjust themselves to become fine? Give me the name and address of that person. |
yinchar:Nigeria Na kukuma "if desired" country. NEPA if desired Agbero if desired Potholes if desired.. Japa if desired Nothing is compulsory |
Haveyoueatentod:If I carry ₦1,000,000 and give you now-now, will you keep it in the bank? How long can you leave it in the bank? This one that Dollar price is going up and down anyhow, that 1million of today will be worth 500k next year. So you will ultimately think to quickly invest this 1million in something sensible to retain or increase its value. And that is exactly where scammers will show up promising you heaven and earth. And that is how people get scammed. Will you say you were greedy to think like that? |
Fisiryorh:Chicken. Eating Chicken everyday will result in this size. That's how white people are also big. All those chemicals they add to chicken feed to make chicken grow to adult in 30 days, na the chemical don transfer to humans be this. |
dupyshoo:I left UK 2009. So I'm just marking up prices. I know all the basic rules still apply. I do keep in touch with family there. But I'm seriouly not breaking my head over UK lifestyle in details anymore. |
Toluene33:The diagram is from BT phone company (The senior brother of our collapsed government NITEL phone line) The mobile phone advert is from www.o2.co.uk. (A typical mobile phone operator in UK) This arrangement is very similar in all western/developed nations. Home internet with phone line and mobile phone monthly contract plans.

Angelfrost:Nigerians back home will NEVER be convinced that things are difficult overseas. So they are ALWAYS going to beg for money if you call them back home. Don't waste your time trying to convince them otherwise. If you just don't have money to give them, then stop calling them. - I'm in Nigeria here. I have a cousin in UK there. But we call each other and talk all the time without me begging him for money. This is only possible because I too lived in the UK at a time and suffered everything he is suffering. So I know 1000% that he doesn't have money. We can talk normally about any other topic except money, and his mind is at rest. But for his own siblings that have not yet travelled and don't understand, he has to blocked their contact as they were not allowing him sleep. Begging for money 24/7. |
Angelfrost:People travel abroad because they are tired of Nigeria. But they will still carry phone and be phoning Nigeria again? Ehen? Ok you want to show us that you are better than us Abi? Since you are better bring the money and give us Na. Otherwise shut up and face whitemen and their society and stop phoning back home. |
Dialpad:My company in Nigeria here, is the goodest company in the world. Now, some of my bosses went and put their profile on LinkedIn. As per, advertise yourself Na Abi? That's how LIRS (Lagos State tax revenue) saw the profile and came to attack our office, Pay-pay-pay tax. Shebi you said you are MD of so and so company, Oya you must be earning millions and your tax must be so-so amount. And it's not so. But Lagos State tax will not believe. Our accountant has to be battling with them every single month, to show the receipts and invoices of EVERYTHING that comes into that office (even if you buy chewing gum sef)...But each time they will find fault and ask for settlement and brown envelope. Tomorrow, they will say that that have not done any tax clearance at all, that we should start again. We have done 2015 tax clearance 5 times. But they will never close the case. All this is for our company that decided to the doing goody-goody. Tell me why any other Nigerian business will ever want too follow straight way again. If Nigerians can get free money from you in UK, they will instead gladly disturb you to get that free money instead of all this Nigerian stress. |
salbis:The truth is that abroad is opposite of Nigeria. Every problem you have in Nigeria, you will see and enjoy the solution abroad. (Light, fuel, good road). Every solution you have in Nigeria, you will suffer the problem in abroad. (Respecting elders, laughing/settlng police, supportive family, warm weather....) You won't know all of them until you reach there |
kabukabu50:Well, I guess you have stayed (too) long. I never got used to it. 15C was still my complete long sleeve and jacket weather. And I never sweated. It means you will collapse of heat exhaustion if you come back to Nigeria. It took me 1 year to readjust back to Nigerian weather. |
Gipre:Internet abroad comes in 2 mandatory flavours. 1. Home internet 2. Mobile phone internet - The home internet comes from the modem The modem is connected to the land line. The land line is connected to the home land phone. You may not use the home land phone to call, but it's working very well and you must pay a base fee of £20 ~ 30 each month to keep the service active. Then pay for home internet that is running on top of the home phone line £20 ~ 40 etc for unlimited internet but with very fast speeds like 20 Mbps, 40 or 100 Mbps. (your Nigerian phone data speed is roughly like 5-10 Mbps on a good day in Lagos. In the East 1kbps (WhatsApp dey hang for there). That settles home phone and internet every month. Now for mobile phone, you will typically take out a contract of 12, 18 or 24 months. They give you latest phone free, but you must pay £20, 30, 40 per month for unlimited calling and texting (SMS). But you must use data for WhatsApp and Twitter, so add small amount on top for data plan it can be 20 GB per month. But remember that once you reach your house, you immediately switch over to your unlimited WiFi internet at home. So basically abroad people have unlimited internet that is not favouring them. They just force themselves to be doing YouTube and video calls so they will know that at least they are using the internet for something and not wasting it. But that useless landline phone is there chopping its own steady £30 each month for nothing. And you can't save that money or stop the service otherwise all your internet will just end like that. £30 + £40 + £30 = £100 £100 x ~N650 = N65,000 per month for phone and internet. Nna, me sef I go complain O. |
ednut1:I lived in UK once. Compared to Nigeria, it is cold for 12 months. In their so called summer, when the whites where going about without shirt, and licking ice cream, I was still very comfortable in full long sleeve shirt, trouser and inner vest, without any sweat on my face, or armpit. For the other months, I put on another heavy jacket untop of this base. And for winter gan-gan, I wore: 2 x inner vest 2 x long sleeve shirt 1 x winter jacket 1 x wool scarf around the neck. 1 x boxer shorts 1 x long Johns (trouser form of singlet) 1 x trouser 2 x wool socks (double socks) Thick leather shoes/boots with thick rubber soles. 1 x head warmer (wool cap) 1 x felt/wool gloves This is the complete set everyday for winter, otherwise you just catch pneumonia, cough and die. Nigerias temperature is 20 to 35 C year round in the South. UK temperature is - 10 to 25 C year round . So it will always be cold and terrible for a tropical African like us. I only opened my room window like 3 or 4 times thoughout the year. |
Nawttiboi007:Don't mind the stupid woman. Giving useless excuses for ashawoism. |
To padlock gate, na im una dey talk all this long English? Make una no finish this internet O. I go still browse tomorrow. |
owobokiri:Men Men do it. |
CodeTemplar:There's no money = There's no money. If you go around building schools, the money for salaries and teaching equipment is more than the money for building the school. So after building the school, there will still be no money for salaries and medical equipment. Of what use is the school then? |
Fiscus105:https://www.quora.com/Why-is-democracy-not-good-for-Africans Nigerian problem no dey finish. |
oshozondii:Na just to make sure people bring out all their hidden money back into circulation to change. |
lansile:As a simple word of moral advice, avoid being alone in the same room with opposite sex person in the first place. Marry your wife and you can be alone with her in same room anytime |
Jones4190:Tha lady is married. Why did you let her owe you in the first place? You were thinking that such would lead to pant activities? She's married. Leave her alone. If she can't pay for your business thing, tell her SORRY. You don't do credit business. Simple. Instead of all this long nonsense story . |
LordErrk:So he ran away with their key, or he didn't pay for the room. And they were so stupid not to go and check the room since. |
COMPENGRFRANK:If you are the owner of the hotel, checking in the guests by yourself, one by one, you will be weeping when you see the type of people coming there. One old man and one small girl. Is it father and daughter? Is it boyfriend girlfriend Is it kidnapper and kidnappee? Should you put your mouth and talk abi just collect their money and check them in? You will just be seeing the hipocricy of Nigerians checking into your hotel.. |
bjtinz:Sheybe if the man came with her, they will both write their names in register. When he is leaving, he will pay for his room and then they should ask him about the girl that came with him. The staff should make sure, he go and bring the girl before checking out. |
Omihanifa:Hotel is a useless and unsafe place filled with highly unprofessional people. One morning around 6:30am, I branched by a hotel because I was feeling sick. I went straight to the lounge to sit, rest and eat. I only wanted to eat. So no registration or anything. 3 hrs later, about 9am, I ate fine and decided to leave. By then the receptionist had resumed. She was asking me, if I was "Checking out", WTH?? I didn't even Check In before. Infact, she doesn't even know who is and isn't inside that hotel. Any alien from space can reproduce inside that building without their knowledge.. |
dazzlingd:All bank workers nationwide should simply go on strike . But will they? Greed for money will not allow them |
ghiloman28:But of course They will all be paid.... .. ...with the old Naira notes, after it becomes useless.. |
Sleekfingers:I really hate the destruction of machines and property. The main point is that bikes are not to be used inside of Lagos state. If only the riders can just take the bikes outside of Lagos state instead to avoid all this destruction. But I guess the government just has to proceed with the destruction to maintain the point. |
Medianna:This particular lady in question is a TOTAL stranger. She and OP met on dating site. She then asked OP on date (Because of long-throat). Probably, OP has not manned up enough yet to ASK her FIRST. The BLEACHED, washed out lady, now thought it was a good opportunity to get OP indebted. She's stupid. But OP should have picked up this signal right from his phone/computer and just declined the date instead of wasting his time with a girl he does not even like. OP don't even like bleached girls. They both wasted their time. |
brandsoncharlie:Nigeria is a funny country. The Bleached lady asked him out, let her pay for all their food. Because on a very normal day, the man should ask the woman first and then prepare himself and pay. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnj0CoZJ0Nc |
EmmyDJourno:Don't mind th stupid OP. Him and the girl were busy talking nonsense on Facebook, then he still expects a person that talks nonsense to behave like a normal person. |
Sweetvie:OP intended to disgrace her from the very first sight of her bleached skin. Which makes me wonder, after hookup on Facebook, did they not share pictures or do video call to even see each other? What if it's that beared girl that came to the date? Him for sh1t for pant.
