When it favors you, you will start following white people, then later you will open another thread how white people are the cause of all problems in Nigeria.
Do you think the people supporting the Twitter ban you quoted know the genesis of the situation in Nigeria? Do you think they did any form of research?
What do your likes even want sef, for all of social media to get shit down? I hope you know that nairaland is also social media.
Ekpeitit: If you're ashamed of being a Nigerian then you're not a Nigerian and your passport should be revoked. You don't go around talking shit about your country and expect to be respected. People from your tribe contribute nothing to the economy of this country and we can't wait for you to create your so called Biafra with your 5 Igbo states. It's time for you to leave Nigeria. You are useless to this country, all you talk about is war and crime.
blazepascal: Both PDP and APC are failed parties. Its time we vote another party. let's see if there can be a change .aren't you guys tired of this madness.
HarrisAWalcott: Twitter has no right to interfere in the politics of another nation. They step over the line attacking the Nigerian President by deleting his posts.
People mostly voted for this man to spite other tribes.
They even said if it’s Nepa certificate he has they will vote him, if he is seen robbing cbn, they will vote him...
It was more about hate than anything else.
Even now, people are saying Tinubu is the best Yorubas can offer in 2023. Do you think the people saying that don’t know that he is corrupt. Do you think they did not see the pictures of bullion vans at his house the day before election?
When you go online and see what smart Yoruba guys are doing ehn, especially in tech, then you will now wonder why someone will point at at Tinubu as the best.
I think it’s mostly about spite men, It’s like the crabs in the barrel theory
It’s always a wonder reading comments from people who say Nigeria is indivisible and must remain one.
On hearing/reading these comments, a person that isn’t familiar with the history of Nigeria might think Nigeria was formed through blood and sweat of its people and not through conquest by the British.
The British came in and conquered the space now known as Nigeria, eventually almagamating the northern and southern parts of this country.
So why do the same blacks who were conquered fight with all their might to REMAIN CONQUERED?
Why do some Nigerians fight to still have the chains around them, calling the creation of conquerors “indivisible”?
Reasonable blacks are trying to forge a new path forward, one of their own creation, yet those that claim to hate the white people and blame them for all black peoples problems will be the first to stifle any initiative to break away from a country created by the so called white monsters. You can’t eat your cake and have it too.
You can’t with one breath chide white people and in another breath claim Nigeria is indivisible. That will be a highly unintelligent position to take.
StaffofOrayan: Never seen a people so cold hearted! They don't even pretend to care anymore, Look at that mockery of a protest by so called Northern women, the placard read 'stop killing northerners'!!! Even the damn protest was a paid political/tribal manipulation,
Very unfortunate men.
If we were to tally the amount of souls lost to terrorist in this country, I wonder what the total would be.
Rissamenti: Twitter Desperate To Appease Abuja, As Buhari Ban Bites
Twitter staff desperately searching for Nnamdi Kanu's posts to delete. https://t3.ftcdn.net/jpg/04/15/18/20/360_F_415182065_jg2StGBXviMQjodAJ1QiHnQdLVd8h2aG.jpg . . Twitter has gone ALL OUT to make amends with Abuja, over the recent standoff between the US social media giant and the Nigerian Presidency, led by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.
Only yesterday they expressed their ''deep concern'' over the ban placed on them by Africa's biggest economy and largest internet ecosystem.
Then yesterday they followed that up with desperate attempts to remove all threatening and offensive posts by Biafran secessionist warlord, Nnamdi Kanu, from their platform.
As if this was not enough, Twitter went on to REMOVE its longstanding 'Support EndSars'' badge on its moniker.
All this fence mending within barely 24 hours of The Nigerian govt announcing the ban of the popular US platform.
This case highlights the validity of the ONE NIGERIA proposition.
The power of this country will be dissipated if it breaks up into these little tribal republics of your small-minded, visionless dreams.
No other African or black nation would be left to stand up to these ...foreigners.
We'd all become Sierra Leone replicas. Ignored and bullied by the rest of the world.
God forbid the breakup of this African Colossus.
You really are disgusting men!
Unity begger.
The same whites you hate created this country, now blacks say they want to dissolve white mans creation and you are here upholding the same creation.
You lots are so confused it hurts.
What is wrong with having tiny prosperous countries as opposed to one big country with zero unity?
You are the type of person that will look to harm those who no longer want to have a relationship with you. Is it by force?
Let me say it one more time so you understand just how dumb you sound. The same white people you hate are the ones that created Nigeria and by upholding this false union, threatening your brothers with war, how are you different from the conquerors of the past?
StaffofOrayan: Over 80 people were massacred in the North, Infact the blood has not dried but none of you give a damn! Infact you all avoided the thread, and have been opening different threads on this meaningless topic, even if you are paid for this don't you guys have any humanity left?
As in...
No comments from the presidency yet, and their minions are going round bashing Twitter just because of one deleted post.

You are so confused.
White man came and arbitrarily drew maps for Africans with guns, yet, you same black African will still uphold what the British created, while cursing whites in the process.
Abi is it black man that created this country?
Then why are you and your likes ready to kill your fellow blacks to uphold a white man creation?
Mynd44: He can name his dog as he likes. When such action was purposely done to provoke his neighbors which will lead to an ethno-religious crises, he has crossed the line.
This is just like me making a video showing myself tearing up and burning a Quran and saying "Hey, I bought it with my money" and not expect the DSS to breaking my effing door in
madridguy: Good, let him stay inside INBOX small and learn some simple lesson in hard way. This is how they bring problem upon themselves and when the jungle matured they start crying foul.
Bunch of hypocrite with hatred blood.
You have been a terrorist right from the start men!
WalkerMichael: Dear NL brothers and sisters, i lost my mother on Monday such a hard knock on me . I just hope God comforts myself and 3 sisters. I promise to make her proud for life. please help me with your words, I'm really down.
So sorry for your loss bro!
I pray she is resting in eternal peace in Jesus name, Amen!
May God bless you and grant you the means to cope, and the means to make her proud.
May God bestow you with intelligence, wisdom, kindness and love to live a fulfilled and fruitful life.
muykem: I read above subject now with tears almost rolled out of my eyes. I am not support or against the ban of twitter but my point is that Nigeria should be proud of their country, we are more important and strategic than we think. Wait and see how twitter will as a matter of urgency render unreserved apologies to Nigeria.
Why will they have to apologize to Nigeria?
Was it Twitter that decided to ban Nigerians?
As a matter of fact, was it Nigerians that decided to ban Twitter?
I think what you meant to say was that Twitter will soon apologize to Buhari
ivolt: Even though Buhari is unfit for president. There is no such thing as state of the union address in Nigeria. Of all the speech he has given before, could you point to an inspiring or insightful examples?
We have real critical issues facing the country but you guys will be chasing after shadows.
If speech is so important to you, kindly send a bill to the National assembly to that effect.
That's like saying communication is not important.
In any organization, family, or leadership position... communication is always important.
Robbery started at 11pm and ends at 2am 9ja police arrived at 3am

Yet when some reasonable people ask for better leadership that would tackle things such as this, the same Nigerians would always prefer the same old politicians that don't give 2 fvks about them, it's so sad.
There is an intellectual leader in waiting now at governorship and president level, that can push for things like this. People that would take police drilling and response time personally, like it deeply affects them. They could mandate that each police precinct have a response drill, blocking of crucial exits to and from an area. Take Lagos for example, you could have response drill exercises by police squads every weekend or every month, were you are to respond at a certain area and have to deploy teams from all over. That way you see the challenges involved, like do we need more bikes because of traffic, is the traffic allowing for emergency vehicles? If not, how do we enforce emergency lanes and keep sellers and hawkers of them?
Yet we just elect people that will go sit in Abuja and travel out. Like how can you even try to make changes when you can't even go from state to state to see somethings that need changing?
What pains me is that the Nigerians are responsible for this, cause they keep putting these politicians who don't care in power. Always! It pains me dearly, that they can not give the mandate to responsible people who will actually transform their society.
U.S police just arrested that naija guy that is an aide to a governor and they did not parade him in boxers and singlet, with fraud documents in front of him, yet, they got the job done by investigating and arresting him.
It’s always the same picture framing when it comes to police arrests or works.
The “suspects” are paraded with some of their clothes taken off and guns or whatever weapons are usually placed in front of the suspect before a picture is taken.
I’ve never seen any other police force behave in this manner.
Why do they remove the clothes of suspects?
Why do they take pictures of suspects and send to the media?
nedekid: Ok. This is evening so hope you have resolved the issue. Anyway, the point I was trying to make to you is that a ticket good, it shows you reached them. I personally prefare writing an email to open a conversation, or if the money is worth it, I go to the bank, get a piece of paper and make my complaints and get them to acknowledge it. Ie stamp it and give me a copy. In this your case, I would have done that this morning saying in the letter, I complained almost 2 weeks ago. I called last week. Today is 14 days later and it has not been resolved. My friend it works miracles. Even the customercare ladies sitted will have to consult a higher official before accepting it. But they must. My point is always try to make a "case". Incase you have to take it further. You know there are cbn laws covering interbank transfer failures and time frame when they must be settled.
Thank you for the lengthy response, it is much appreciated.
The matter hasn’t been resolved as I was told to wait till today.
I will have to go to the bank personally next week if I don’t get my reversal today.
