No one in the future should undermine the Niger Delta, cause that’s directly were the resources for this came from.
You can tell the region that funded your city to “go back to their village” and the likes. |
Politics › How Many Apps Have To Register In Nigeria? by VaselineCrew(op): 11:21pm On Jun 09, 2021 |
Why all the focus on Twitter for registration?
There are thousands of applications both on the Google PlayStore and the Apple App Store, which Nigerians use but aren’t registered here.
Apps from games, productivity apps, lifestyle, music... and social media, of which Twitter is just ONE.
Following Lai Mohammed’s logic, every app must register in Nigeria, even you wallpaper and theme launchers on Android. |
Politics › Re: Lagos Named The Second Least Liveable City In The World - BBC by VaselineCrew: 10:03pm On Jun 09, 2021 |
There are a lot of things that Lagos can do to help improve and blaze the trail for Nigeria
A few of these are (note these problems are common throughout the country)
- Cover open gutters There is no reason for Lagos to still have kpotopoto poo and pee mix with algae gutters open to the public.
-Enforce traffic laws I don’t mean officers just standing at junctions, because most traffic infractions happen on the move and not while stationary. So you need a mobile force to PATROL and Pull Over malefactors. I once told someone that in the U.S, you can’t change lanes without using your signal and he didn’t believe me. The devil as the day is in the details. You can not overlook things like people driving on lanes, in the bush path, not using signals, and expect to have an orderly traffic situation, it will NEVER EVER HAPPEN.
-Reduce hawking/begging on streets This one is kinda hard, cause of the economic situation in the country, but it will be disastrous in the long term to have so many out of school children live their lives on the streets chasing after cars.
-Provide Pipe Borne Water A lot of houses already have boreholes for water, but a lot also don’t have this. It would be nice to provide one of the most basic infrastructure to the people in the form of pipe borne water.
All in all Lagos and the rest of our lands will continue to improve, and hopefully in leaps and bounds with the right leadership in place. |

Coldshisha: Okay who are you voting for in 2023 what party and candidate
Kindly state your valid reasons
. I’m thinking Sowore but still open to ideas beyond apc and pdp, unless of course those parties were to by chance bring out brilliant candidates, which isn’t a likely outcome going by their antecedents. The why for Sowore is cause he would be one of the most brilliant presidents Nigeria has ever had. Graduating from an Ivy League school and growing Sahara reporters to what it is today are some of the things that endear me to him. With voting other parties, there’s a higher likelihood of getting the best (or close) man for the job, as they don’t subscribe to the zoning policy laid out by the apc and pdp. How can merit be upheld in a system that promotes “turn by turn”? It’s almost like flying in a plane piloted by the best pilot in his/her class, versus flying in a plane with a pilot only there because it’s the turn of his/her tribe to fly the plane. |

To them, anyone can call Nigeria a shithole and get away with it as long as he is white. To them, any company can do as they please in Nigeria as long as that company is owned by a white man. They complain too much about Nigeria importing things but they are the first to condemn anything Nigeria produces, Just check the thread of Nigeria producing her phone and see the toxic people this country breeds

WoundedLamb: Hhmm... But these are two very different tracks. These countries were in existence before electricity was invented. They invented electricity at some point in their existence and some decades later, they came up with technologies to spread it all over the West. It's not as if it took them years to catch up with some pre-existing technology. We are not asking Nigeria to invent electricity or create anything, we are asking Nigeria to harness a technology that has been in existence long before the country was born. Please, let's not compare adoption with invention.
Just an opinion. Abeg loud it for him to hear bros It’s like you are not aware of this guy and him blaming al Nigerias problems on whites |
Politics › Re: The West Only Began To Enjoy Constant Light In The 1960s, So Nigeria Is On Track by VaselineCrew: 2:11am On Jun 08, 2021 |
Rissamenti: We always talk about Europe and America as if they've ALWAYS had constant light from the get go, with no problems.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
They suffered their fair share of POWER CUTS and NO POWER ACCESS right up till the 196OS.
1960s is like yesterday, in terms of our world.
As stated by research:
''In the 19th and early 20th century, electricity was not part of the everyday life of many people, even in the industrialised Western world. The popular culture of the time accordingly often depicted it as a mysterious, quasi-magical force that can slay the living, revive the dead or otherwise bend the laws of nature.
With electricity ceasing to be a novelty and becoming a necessity of everyday life in the later half of the 20th century, it required particular attention by popular culture only when it stops flowing''
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electricity
Another source confirms this, saying:
''The oldest American power lines date back to the 1880s, and most of today’s grid was built in the 1950s and 1960s with a 50-year life expectancy.''
https://www.popsci.com/story/environment/why-us-lose-power-storms/
So Nigeria is not going through what America or England did not go through in their development.
We WILL succeed. You are such an enemy of the black race men Always looking for excuses as to why Nigeria won’t develop. Next you will say white people stole your technology and it was in Africa that science started, bla bla bla Then when they ask you about separating Nigeria, a white mans creation, you will say that Nigeria is indivisible |

Buhari supporters inc have given every reason imaginable for banning Twitter from breaking laws, to supporting terrorist, to deleting of Biharis post and TAXES Why not ban google, Facebook, YouTube and the rest for taxes, let us know we are isolated from the outside world. thebosstrevor1: Chai
Anyway, you can brag that you can tweet using vpn and other methods that can bypass vpn, good for you but Twitter influencers cant earn while brands cant use or advertise on Twitter.
Twitter make money from advertising.
Imagine, government block your debit cards from working on Twitter. That means brands won't be able to advertise on Twitter thus making Twitter lose revenue.
Twitter and Twitter influencers will close shop in 1 month.
Nigeria government have many ways to destroy Twitter.
Blocking Twitter and vpn is just one way, Twitter are losing some revenue with this ban, if government stops bank debit cards from working on Twitter, they will run away and block you from tweeting.
So who wins again? NIGERIA Look at how this guy is so happy that Nigerians that found a livelihood on Twitter will lose it. Na wa for you. He said Twitter influencers will close shop in one month. So how does that help the Nigerian unemployment rate? Chai |
