@ op, those words of your husband owning u, is just mere words to show he is Oga, which no one disputes on... but think less of it ...we all know, nobody owns anybody, even in marriage, we simply companions ... just words, nothing more..and he knows it.

Divorce is the only option...this is pure bondage, not marriage..be wise, life is short.. My mum's sister died in an isolated and abusive marriage in her prime age of 45yrs, because she stayed back, beared, prayed continuosly believes her husband will change, but unfortunately he became worse and nonchalant and even married a 2nd wife. But she still stayed in their home, because she wants to protect her children from the trauma of divorce. She slumped and died through cardiac arrest one morning , while taking her bath ...... and :oher eyes were plucked off, when she was about to be buried .... it was terrible moment for her children, my mum and her family...
No bad and inconsiderate man is worth the hassle...hell no! ...May her soul rest in perfect peace

op,tell your sister to stop crying. one she should thank God, she is hale, hearty and fertile as her doctor has certified and check her. Then 2ndly, she should place her hopes on God. I have an aunt who married at the age of 25yrs to a handsome youngman. They were both doing well, but during the 2nd year of her marriage , the husband died through a car accident when travelling for buisness. He left her with twins boys, both 1yr olds. She cried uncontrollably, it was a terrible period for her but with advice, consolations from family, she summoned up courage , went back to work and struggled to cater for her twins boys alone. The boys are now 20yrs olds , recently gained admission into d university, but b4 then she had bn trying to get married , but no one suited her taste. She placed her worries on the Lord, was and still looking good for many yrs. If u see her, u will think she has not given birth b4.
Then lo and behold, an uncle of ours called her on phone , that he has a bosom friend recently divorced who stays abroad and needs a caring wife, as from age 35yrs to 50yrs. And my aunt is just 45yrs old. He quickly matchmake them... They saw each other, fell inlove.. the man is 55yrs but if u see him, he looks 40yrs :Dand now she is married, shuttling from lagos to uk every 2months, due to work and her boys in school. She is so happy.
Pls your sister shouldnt loose hope, there is still a bright light at the end of the tunnel . Be prayerful, happy,and humble..it is well with her mind, amen.

@ dailynews, am not bad mouthing virgins, there are goodwives material in some women either virgin or not. but its out of place when ziqqy or whatever he calls himself, posted how he feels sorry for his frnd marrying a non virgin, that he knows too well, which is a total wrong concept. He will be amazed how his frnd cud be living in total bliss and understanding with his new bride. Making reference abt my neighbour's wife , does not mean all virgins are bad..it just shows, virgins too can stray after eating the fruit of sex, can also have bad behaviour ...a goodwife, which most men want does not necessarily have to be a virgin, its all about the upbringing, monogamous mindest, loyal and every other thing that makes a woman fill her home and surrounding with peace and love.

I am someone that believes in reality and practical issues. One thing that saddens my heart about this country, the churches, and Pastors especially. Cos Pastors are like role models to alot of people, and they all preach prosperity and acquiring more wealth in life, which is good though. But it should be balanced with awakening people's conscience on what is good and bad. And that what people sow, so shall they reap.. alot of people will say they are aware of good and bad ways, but i bet u they are not aware, they are simply floating inbetween. The best people i have been opportuned, blessed to meet and interact with are people who are not church fanatics, but people who realistic, practical, truthful and down to earth,go to church once in a while and without adding bible verses to every statement they make. As more churches springs up, the society is becoming treacherous and all man for himself.Now, with this mindset, how will the country, people progress?
