You make it seem like it's a taboo for men to cook, you married a wife not a cook, she shouldn't have a life just because she's married to you, instead of you to get closure and make her your friend you're talking about Enugu girls, maybe she feels the same way about you and can't wait to get away from you too, get your sh!t together and take care of your kids like a man instead of whining on NL like a lil b!tch.
Thank you my brother. The OP sounds like a male chauvinist who see marriage as a slave master relationship.

Takeaways;
1. She kept lying it wasn't a cat and was even trying to claim some invasion of privacy- loose
2. The air hostess and (captain) were very calm and did a good job trying to pls both the complainant and the accused until the truth was established
3. Funny side, (maybe some witch turned her baby into a cat, that's perhaps the reason for her insistence)

Lastly, it wasn't a real cat after all. She's just a trouble maker!
She is a mentally disturbed patient.

set out from oyinbo Lagos to SOKOTO via a Young shall grow CHINKO bus loaded to the brim with automobile engines and motorbikes among other heavy loads. We journeyed for 3 days because the excess load kept damaging the balloons of the very fragile Chinese bus. Finally got to SOKOTO on the 3rd day. My body was already slimy from stress and sweat. Took off straight to the market and found myself a shack to sleep in after managing to shower at a public bathroom. Fourth day I set out to market and bought about 10 bags via a so called middle man versed in the business. I never knew I dug my grave by playing into his hands. This guy bought me 8 bags of bad onions covered by good ones. Set out back to Lagos on 5th day and I boarded a separate bus to Lagos. It took about 2&½ days for my onions to arrive Lagos and by the time it could arrive mile12 it has started decaying with a clear evidence of the bags dripping with water. I handed it over to another middleman who helps people like me to sell and take commission. I told him I will be selling at so and so price after getting the market value from other sellers, then I left when we had an agreement. The next day or so, I had a terrible accident that got me bedridden, my phone got destroyed in the process and so I lost all contacts, therefore couldn't call the middleman in-charge of selling my onions. After about 2 weeks when I mustered every ounce of strength to move outside, I headed to mile12 straight. On getting there some of the northerners that recognised me were all over me staring moronically at my battered right hand. Lastly after exchanging pleasantries I went straight to the man in-charge of my onion bags to get my cash only to be shown where my onion bags were stacked already rotten. For some minutes I was confused and dazed at the same time. I opened my mouth to speak and no word was coming out, when I gathered the last strength in my body to speak and asked the man why he didn't sell my onions, he said that I didn't give him permission to bargain with buyers and that I just pegged the price and left, gosh I was flaggerbasted at the stupidity of this malaam who I didn't know whether he was being inhumane to me because of my tribe or he was simply being brainless. Long and short of it is that a business I went into with about 250K didn't yield up to 70K capital and profit in return. As I walked away from mile12, something in me knew that I wasn't coming back anytime soon. It was a very terrible experience for me and honestly the stress wasn't worth it.
That's the problem with this Nigerians. They expect seccess at first try. And if they fail they simply give up. That's not the attitude of success.

I think that mind set was put into Nigerians by Pastors who teach that failure is God's punishment or curse for not paying tithes.

For you to truly succeed YOU MUST EXPERIENCE MANY FAILURES. Failure is the best teacher. After each failure you get wiser, stronger and more determined to succeed.

Listen to the speech of Deshauna who won miss USA after 6 failures.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_f8vpS4IRk0

If you had accepted your mistakes as part of the learning curve, pick yourself up again and try again, your next try would not have been so spectacular. You might have become an onion or food magnate by now.

You are being subsidised by your relative for power, shop space and storage space then.

I am curious as to why your relatives failed to provide laminating services in his business cenre business. Most business centres I know laminate documents, ID cards, NIN paper slips, certificates etc as part of their business.
Does you relative make N2 million profit per year after deducting shop rent, power and taxes (both legal and illegal)?

A refinery that is domiciled in the South will have Engineers from North working on it. No Catchment Quota for even host community. This is the type of Nigeria some people are ready to die for.
It's a private refinery. Dangote can hire only his relations if he so wishes. National character does not apply to private companies.

Catchment areas applies also only to public corporations and companies. Host communities negotiate conditions with private companies before the commencement of the project. If host communities see employment of their people as paramount, they would have demanded a percentage of jobs from the beginning, but we know how host communities operate in Nigeria. They prefer to collect cash and share now now instead of long term benefits

Remember, at first I only had N30k, 27 out to buy the machine, 3 to buy laminating film.

I only have half of the money with me right now becuase of:

*Feeding
*When I got my first 100k, I bought new SUMEC FIRMAN GENERATOR
*My mom and Dad exfences
*Bought a new bike for N380k
*Bought a plot of land to build a small shop (computer center)
*Buying of laminating film, which is currently 3.6K after each 4-5 days
*Bought Infinix Hot 10 for 56k
*And many other things.

Things that helped me More:
*Patience
*Perseverance
*Prayer for success
*Selfishness
*Not having a boyfriend to distract me.

I will use my remaining 1M to buy computer, printer, photocopier and other computer center business tools.

Help other youths.
How much was the plot of land and how much did you use to build the small shop/computer center? Cost of Block, cement, electrical wires and finishes are moon high right now.

How much do you use to run and maintain your SUMEC FIRMAN GENERATOR? Remember petrol is currently at N165/litre.

Very impressive and a great motivation for all. But OP analysis is income based. You need to give us the expense side too. Like how many liters of fuel you use per day, tell us about wear and tears. Tell us what you use on generator maintainance . Your daily transport expense. Do you pay any tax to LGA this will help people. Before everybody go and get laminating machine
Believe me if a business can make you a millionaire in one year with just a N27k laminating machine, everyone would have gotten a laminating machine and drive down the cost ( law of market equilibrium). It will be just like pure water business.

O.P welldone but I Dont agree with what you have just written. U can never and I mean never save upto 1m from doing this job. Yes, you might make 1m but when you calculate your savings minus expenses within the month you will be left with little.

I have been doing this job for several years now and i also have a cafe. I have the customers in fact I sleep in shop most times but to save milk within a month, na lie.
Pl note, I Dont spend recklessly
You are the only practical person so far. Even though I support the moral of the story, the practicality is doubtful. I currently run 3 separate businesses with monthly turnover running into millions. Yet running costs is chocking me.
First of all 30k cannot start a business whereby just one asset is 27k. You have to pay for shop or space. For just space where you put umbrella, you have to settle omo-nile/local government officials weekly if not daily.
Then we talk of power, except the lamination machines can run on firewood. You have to get a stand by generator, and buy fuel everyday. You have to maintain the generator. You also have to provide storage space and security for your equipment unless you carry all of them home everyday.

Then we have to put into consideration your own living expenses. Unless you are still being fed and housed by your parents, you will have to pay house rent, food and utilities from your business.

Now, how are you going to save N1 million in a year after all these expenses in a Nigeria with hyperinflation?

From the woman's story one could deduce she was telling the true story, even giving instances n calling names with verifiable details......
Nigerians really need to learn how NOT to conclude, judge n condemn before hearing both sides of the story.....
Nigerians are very emotional, just appeal to their emotions and they can start worshipping you.

Maybe they sent the girl at 2 am to buy spiritual items from spirits.

The girl wants to blackmail the couple for cash, she never cared for the baby.

Phut:
Feed the baby when? Tina’s husband is a bus driver. Tina also works. If she feeds the baby in the morning and comes back 12-14 hours later (accounting for Lagos traffic) do you know what 12-14 hours of no food would do to a 2-3 month old baby? When Tina recognized the situation as dire, she took the baby once more to the hospital for treatment.
The teen mother is very culpable in all this. She is a troubled teen, who abandoned her baby and was in gross dereliction of her duties. The couple reported her several times to their compound people, but the teenager would not listen and ran off to do some “highly questionable” work, while abandoning her baby. When she ran off to follow prostitutes, why did she not take her baby along. Why did she not cry out if and when her baby was seized, initially? She waits till her baby is at the point of death to resurface with a cock and bull story that her baby was seized because of hospital maternity/delivery bills. Meanwhile Tina continued to spend on medical bills after the girl ran off. They even made Police reports, documenting that the teen mother had absconded.
The girls ways are not pure. They helped her and she is repaying their good with evil. Please watch the video. Avoid the danger/pitfalls of a single story.
The teenage and human rights lawyers just want to extort the poor couple. If the couple are able to get good lawyers, they would go scot free. The teenage girl abandoned a 2 months old baby who should be on exclusive breastfeeding and people are still supporting her. Nigerians are really weird people. A girl that should be cooling her heels in prison is the one that people are feeling sorry for.

Even though the couple made a grave mistake by letting the baby die, they should at least be commended for spending money on both the teenage girl and the baby. They paid all the maternity and delivery fees (and that is not cheap nowadays). Where are the girls patents and family in all these? Where is the man that got her pregnant? Why does the couple have to adopt the baby by force?

Take baby to police station? Maybe you are not domiciled in nigeria. Nigeria police operates like a criminal organization. The Nigerian police would accuse her of kidnapping the baby and arrest the madam, and then ask her to bail herself with at least N150,000

Sir/ma,
In my opinion, even if the girl ran away and left the baby or even joined the family pregnant, or didn't breastfeed the baby, you will still agree that a lot of babies lost their mothers at birth and survived without breastfeeding. The woman claimed to have employed a nurse and even aid 30k and after all this, the intervention of police and social workers were required for the girl to access her baby.

I'm not taking sides, but I'm thinking the woman should just own up to her errors. The baby was in her custody and in the process ended up malnourished
What do you want the madam to do if girl ran away and left the baby? Are you saying she must against her will take care of a baby she has no relations with?

This is a case of societal failure. There should have been an institution where such babies are dropped to prevent them from dying or suffering. In the West, if your neighbour reports the maltreatment of a baby or a child, the child would be taken away from the care giver (even if it's the parent) and taken care of by the state.

Are you talking about the madam or the teenage mother? There is no proof that the madam refused to feed her own child.

Was she owing you like she claimedhuh
We don't know yet. If She left her baby without making provisions for its feeding and upkeep, then she will have reimburse those that paid for the child's upkeep. That's how it's done in other jurisdiction. You can't just drop your baby in other people's house and then demand they feed and care for your child.
Wo, no need to ask plenty questions, this Tina woman no wicked woman and should be made to face the law to it's full length, case dismissed
Yes all responsible for the baby's death must be made to face the law to it's full length, the madam, the mother, the man that fathered the child, the nurse, all involved.

It doesn't matter if they are related by blood or not. The day they took her, she became their responsibility. The woman even used the word husband sister to describe the girl. We know how kin works in Igbo land. They didn't take her back to the village neighbour. They accepted the baby under their roof and left him to die. What happens to the duty of care? They don't need to abandon their baby to take care of this baby. Even my mother's goat feed her kid alongside another kid. Only a mother understands this situation better. Please allow me to vent. Good morning.
You are just being unreasonable. Probably you are too young to understand the pains of nursing a newborn baby.

The couple made terrible decision in taking a pregnant teenager to come and take care of their own newborn. Probably they were desperate. But it backfired.

Everyone from your village is called your brother or sister in this part of the world even though you are not related. The husband specifically mentioned that they are not related. Since they are from the same village, the wife obviously would call her sister or cousin-sister.
