This story doesn't make sense to me. The soldiers were arguing with the woman. The community gathered and soldiers went to the house of the woman to pull out her husband who was probably sleeping and didn't have a clue of what was going on. They started beating him even with the community there oh and they killed him just like that. This doesn't make sense to me at all. If the man had come out to fight them and got killed in the process, that would make sense. |
What is this madness! |
The former passport will have to be cancelled. When you go for renewal, once you get the new passport, tell them to cancel the old passport. You cannot have two valid passports at same time unless you getting an ECOWAS passport too. But when going for a visa interview, you must go with the two passports. figur: |
Yes but we were at a very high speed. I think we had attained sufficient acceleration for take off. The pilot really did an incredible job I must say. I am not sure he had upto 400m left to veer off the runway. So you can imagine the brake applied severally. I think that actually affected the braking system because after they must have serviced the plane and also replaced tires, during taxiing again, whenever he applies brake, the plane made an unusual noice and also shook. Well I hope faan does something about the debris on the runways. MajorJeffery: |
Staying alive is enough compensation for me. That even earned us 6hrs delay. We ended up using same plane after they replaced the tires and did some servicing. condomuser: |
I thanked the pilot for doing an incredible job but my story wasnt just about the mishap but all that has happened just this year alone. Mcowubaba: |
Yes! I am thankful that God saved me. I also thanked the pilot for doing an incredible job. You are right joey. I should call them out for their lack of maintenance and ineptitude but I wouldnt be doing that on NL. I am loved by God in a special kind of way bro ![]() joey150: |
He told us it was a bird strike. He went back after he gained control of the plane and we had to disembark from the plane. It was when we alighted that I saw the 2 back tires gone and that happened with a loud bang. condomuser: |
Watching this clip of the helicopter crash and counting the number of times I have boarded choppers and airplanes just this year alone and also my experience yesterday boarding Airpeace from Abuja to Uyo. How the plane lost two back tires while taxiing for take off and how the pilot struggled to gain control of the plane and finally was able to stop the plane from overshooting the runway. I say thank you Jesus for loving me unconditionally. |
Heat transfer from an electric powered system would be used in heating the fuel. martyns303: |

Yes! It gladdens my heart to see that this Govt is very serious about achieving Train 7 which will go a long way in creating employment for the people. ermm, what did I even say about Train 7? Feraz: |
Lonestar124:Yes, growing up it wasnt like this. The herders roamed the streets with their cattles and they were very friendly but from the look of things, things are no more the same. I got uncomfortable when during the first month of Buhari's regime, he dismantled all military checkpoints in NE and brought in the police. It wasnt long, we started hearing stories of killings in Benue then the East. Having all the security top chiefs from his region also makes me uncomfortable. Yes, these killings are politically motivated but our security system should be smart enough to find out who. The security chiefs were able to quell IPOB agitation between a blink of an eye but seem handicap with these wanton killings. 5 persons who retaliated the killer herders attack were captured and sentenced to death within record time but the muderers of the evangelist in Abuja till today have not been caught let alone the mindless killers across the country. The president went to US and told Trump that the killers are from Libya yet told states to reverse anti open grazing law else there wont be peace. Does that make sense to you? If these killers are from Libya like he said, why not bring out machineries and smoke them out. If this was a simple farmer/herders clash, why not tell herders to get their ranches? Please I am tired. |
I dont know why everything is rocket science in Nigeria. All the time I spent in the States, I never for once saw one cow on the street let alone on major roads. I am in Switz and the only time I saw fat and healthy looking cows was while ascending a mountain. They were in a ranch. Even Ghana and Cameroun that borders us. I never saw one cow on the street. Why is this a herculean task to solve. Why cant the National Assembly pass a law or even the Presidency put forth an Executive Order that anyone into cattle rearing must get a ranch for their cows. Why must it take lives? What is all this? No cow should be seen loitering. I am tired. |
Aswear.. It is really tough bin Nigerian. You go to the these developed countries and you wonder if the black race is cursed especially Nigeria. I am tired. |
Good news!!! |
Beautiful NEWS! This is long overdue. All these guys flaunting dollars and popping heneys n moets recklessly will have to explain their source(s) of wealth. Raid the clubs please. That is where you get them. Due to the long silence of the Govt, every secondary school boy now wants to go into yahoo yahoo because they see how these guys waste money. Our youths have been influenced by the 'GetRichQuick syndrome. Now it is yahooPlus, people using people and even themselves for rituals. If you live an affluent life, you should be able to explain your source of wealth. Good job EFCC! |
They may not necessarily be all Christians but there seem to be an agenda! I do think people are hiding under the umbrella of the President and perpetrating this great evil. For crying out loud, Buhari has been clothed with the garment of the GCFR and from the look of things, he seems unperturbed about the killings. He without hesitation and even without the NASS killed the IPOB agitation with maximum force and immediately proscribed them. Now he is treating the herdsmen issue with kid's glove. He goes out to tell the world that the killer herdsmen are from Libya then he comes home and says a different thing. For a man who is ready to tackle this menace, the IGP, Interior minister and even COA would have been removed a long time ago because obviously they have failed. Remember this quote; If insurgency exceeds 24hrs, the hand of the Govt. is involved. jimrog: |
What sort of stupid loyalty is Osibanjo claiming? Osibanjo should go read the books of Esther. She took it upon herself to go meet the King even when there was a great evil plan to slaughter her people. She staked her life! You cant be there claiming loyalty when the Christians are slaughtered like fowls. Evil prevail when good men sit down and do nothing. |
Thank you so much for this correction chiol: |
So Rochas wants to host them with the monies He is collecting from Imo state lazy youths. Rochas should not try himself |

Good sense of humour. Nice story. Where is the pt3? |
Which site can one see this match? Somebody should help out. |
I wasnt expecting to see a Nigerian die from Snake bite unless it is a village call. We are not that stupid to keep snakes in the house. Did someone just say Buratai.... Check history, he may not be a Nigerian. Nigerians and snakes are worst enemies. We dont thread same path let alone keep them in the house. Once a Nigerian see a snake, the first unconscious thing he does is to look for stone, matchet, stick or RUN! |
I am not surprise. The people holding down development in Bonny are their greedy chiefs and so called elders. Bonny should be one of the best Island in Nigeria but because of greediness of their chiefs and laziness of the youths, that is why they are where they are today. All they want is to be 'settled'. And that money will be used for drinking and womanizing. |
PointZerom: this guy is a mess I swear!I agree with Ohaneze 100%. I really do wish Nigeria is a one mother tongue country. I am currently working with some Italians. When they dont want you to understand what they want to say, they switch to their language and you hardly hear them speak in english when they are amongst themselves. The yoruba and hausa are trying. but the igbo man, speak igbo to him and he'll want to impress you with queen's english. |
You of all people said this. The first reasonable thing I have read from you since knowing your handle on this forum. IkpeAmakwana nwa... NwaAmaikpe: |
Nice write-up... i think you only got tired of her... If you really did love her, blocking her wouldnt have lasted. People have married call girls and things worked veey well for them. I heard of a guy who met a girl in a night club, fell in love and they got married. A guy who was struggling before he met this girl. Things suddenly changed for him... I enjoyed the read. |
Fayose the guyman... See packaging... lol |
