PoliticsRe: Opposition Parties Won The Presidential Election But Tinubu Is President. by Xpol:
The simple truth those shouting rigging rigging failed to acknowledge. Had it been APC faced a united PDP it'll be massive victory like 20m plus against 8m plus of APC, so tell me how on earth would that have been rigged.

Atiku, Obi, Wike and co. are destiny helpers that has been assigned to Tinubu.

A destiny that has no powerful and functioning helpers is bound to fail.

Your enemies or opponents can be your destiny helpers so Stop praying that enemies should die by fire

We can’t have a Muslim Muslim president and vice president and still have a Muslim senate president.

Some of these politicians must learn to be considerate and accommodating. This is the time to make all necessary concession in the overall interest of peace, unity, stability and national cohesion. We should all support the SE for senate president. That’s the best way to start the healing process.
Dem no dey dash person power. It's a process and you have to work for it.

See as many are respecting and accepting this man opinion now, let him say something like "the most popular man won the election" or send a congratulatory message to Tinubu and see how they'll be insulting him like he's a 17yrs old boy.

In democracy you have to respect contrary opinions, you can't force everyone to be on your side. Even the military head of state find it difficult to achieve that.

Hiss!!! Scientists with their usual lie lie thing. I've seen crabs, fishes, worms and snakes falling from the sky with my korokoro eyes while raining. I'd even catch the fishes and put them in a cup of water and be playing with them.

I was surprised to grow and be seeing these scientists saying the opposite

Look at the likes of Obi, Nnamdi Kanu, Wike, Buhari, Tinubu etc, if them tell you how many nights these men no dey stay with their wives you go know say their wives are single moms..

To achieve great things, man must leave his comfort zone and enter street
what you wrote there shows some level of experience, inexperienced man will wan to please his wife and give her his attention at all time till experience teaches him a great lesson.I'm not really referring to Banky though but general thing...

MrColdsweat:
Another suggestion is, nigerians must be able to choose the INEC chairman and state commissioners. It makes no sense that the president chooses who heads the INEC.

There should also be strict punishment, probably jailterm, for INEC staffs who compromise the election.
meaning inec chairman should be chosen from election. In that case each political party will present/back a candidate and that means any of the candidates that emerge determines which party wins the election.
PoliticsRe: INEC Needs To Be Reformed: Full Text Of YIAGA Africa's Post-Election Report by Xpol: 10:07am On Mar 02, 2023
Ajibam:
The first step of reformation is to completely make Inec non partisan
The only way we can do this is to try Private establishment, a firm that can't be compromised or intimated by money.
Give a private firm 40% of Inec budgeted money, they will carry out a fair election.

if there's a fair election, whosoever loses will have no violent outcome, you can't see all the atrocities in this election and keep quiet.

Inec must be totally reformed.
So how do we get a firm that can't be compromised. In one way or the others the private firm will still have link with one or two political parties.

Nowhere in the world you can get a perfect election. The losers will still complain of being rigged out while the winners accept it to be free, fair and credible Today if you ask Trump why he lost, he will tell you it's through rigging.

Take for example when you're playing a game with your friend and he keeps winning you, how do you feel? You'll fund an excuse to justify losing and sometimes the game even turns to fight

Though i'm not a religious person i knw prayer helps in situations like this. Without the holy spirit directing u on what to do regarding this matter every decision u take will backfire. My advice 4 u is to fast 4 just a day. Study the bible and a powerful christian novel of someone like Bishop David Oyedepo nd be deliberate abt it. B4 u knw it God will direct u on what to do nd ur frnd will even separate frm that man without ur effort
lol what a funny character are you, you're not religious and you believe in holy spirit direction, is it until you open a church before being religious?

Yes the election shows power belongs to the people especially in Lagos and the big K states.

Shocking election i must say...

Obi really surprised me, many people don use hin name ride enta red and green chamber, no be moi-moi...

Senators losing their senate sit, A no-name beating the hell out of the big wigs all because of one Name, OBI...
That man deserve some accolades, even though hin no win, his name alone produced winners, diz guys will forever be grateful to that name...
God really used Obi for those people, in their mind it was like let me just test this thing Jo and I'm sure they didn't even spend much.

See you, he will not even be sworn in as President
After swearing in you go change am to he no go pass one month on the throne >> he no go pass 3months >> 6months>>> ...... till he no go use more than one term...... >>>> he don rig himself in for the second term......>>>>> he no go finish the second term.... >>>> till you go tire. The time and passion many of you devote for these politicians is more than enough to better your life or better other's life( in case your life don already better) hating someone for no justification affects one's progress.

I didn't buy the obidient movement simply bcoz of the way your guys were trying to force others to be on your side and as someone who has has his brain intact I knew he would never have the 25% spread especially in the core north So for me I preferred BAT followed by Atiku and i wasn't expecting miracle from anyone that got it like the way you guys attached all your emotions, body and soul to Obi as if he came down from heaven and would turn Nigeria to Canada within 6months of being the president.

I knew the easter were pushing and polishing him as an angel just to have their own turn of the presidency of which i saw nothing bad in that but they should have been preaching their gospel with love and be winning more souls for him instead.

Mine is Obi winning more than two states outside SouthEast as Reno Omockery boasted. Lagos and FCT including 3 Northern states

Obi won in SouthEast SouthSouth SouthWest and NorthCentral. Na em really shock me.

Even Reno's Atiku is still hiding grin
That Lagos own too shocked me but Rivers carries the highest voltage. It could only be a magic not a miracle

Mine is Obi's performance, he was the real shocker. I love how he trashed pdp more hahaha. I am happy power remains in south. It must nt revolve around North all the time. Lastly congrats to Tinubu may ur tenure favour us all.
Obi really tried and what really helped him that much was that many people are tired of APC and PDP so they need other alternatives of which he's the most popular of the alternatives.

Not that he's a saint or messiah as many portrayed him to be.

This present Nigeria will even be hard for an Angel to transform. So I don't deceive myself thinking when a particular person wins Nigeria will turn a paradise.

Brendaniel:
Tinubu did not win any region, the only region he may have won was the south west with a very low margin of not more than 40℅.

How you guys stay comfortably and support criminality shows that you guys don't look at the long term effect of things and the fact that you guys feel you will never be on the receiving end one day for not doing the right thing now.

Yesterday while watching PDP members rejecting the result and crying about rigging, I just had a flash back to the days of PDP, and I said to myself: who would have ever thought that one day the PDP will be crying of rigging in this same Nigeria, the same Atiku was vice president and OBJ who is complaining now was president, they controlled the executive and the national Assembly, I said to myself: what did they do to make sure elections where free and fair when they had to opportunity to, what laws did they pass to strengthen the electoral Act against rigging and manipulations or making electoral crimes punishable with life imprisonment ?

The only answer that always came up was that the system favoured them and they never looked beyond that time, today they are at the receiving end, today your party is in power you are enjoying it too and not looking beyond now, who knows you might also be at the receiving end tomorrow when you need the system to work for you when you need it most and it might not be there for you...

My major annoyance is that the country will keep been affected negatively because a system that produces leaders through a fraudulent process will only produce fraudulent leaders

This is like supporting someone who faked his certificates to become MD of a company and you expect him to perform for the good of the company
Accepting defeat is not an easy thing but not really hard for real politicians who truly and only want to serve the masses.

When making it a do or die affair then it becomes a selfish agenda.

No be by force to serve the masses the decision should come from the majority of the masses themselves.

What made it even easier to support Asiwaju as a core northerner, was the fact that he was unarguably the best candidate - by sheer capacity & track record of excellence in governance and leadership recruitment.

We hold the value of “Amana” (trust/loyalty) dear to our hearts generally as Northerners regardless of religion. Our brethren in the SW were also steadfast and loyal throughout this outgoing administration, helping obliterate deliberate anti-North propaganda and containing Igboho’s excesses which the ipob terrorists tried to latch on to. Together, we ensured the hate-mongering ipob terrorists leader Nnamdi Kanu was contained and quite effectively restrained.

I am glad that the North has demonstrated its selfless commitment to the unity and progress of this country beyond all doubt. We have humbled the naysayers that said it was impossible for Tinubu to win Northern votes alongside his own region. Indeed this is a victory for Nigeria.

A big thank you to the 12 Northern governors for insisting on power rotation to the South. Thanks also to candidates Kwankwaso and Obi without whom the defeat of Atiku would have been difficult if not impossible. Finally, thanks and congratulations to my fellow comrades on NL who remained thick-skinned, steadfast and focused till the end, amidst the barrage of insults and endless propaganda. Renewed hope has come.

Here’s to a peaceful, prosperous and absolutely fantastic new administration of the Lion of Bourdillon, the Jagaban of Borgu & Asiwaju of Lagos -

None if these politicians can change your life directly, no any messiah among these people. Better put more effort in changing your own life for better.

This is what am saying

This people think we are fools
The State labour party wins always have a close number with Apc
Inec can't pull the wool over our eyes

Ekiti people are not really educated the way we think

This election revealed alot about south west

Imagine Ekiti were selling thier votes even on credit

One thing am gonna start celebrating in Nigeria I don't care if anyone will tag me evil

I'm gonna be celebrating 🍾 when ever I hear bad news happening in Nigeria....if the suffering and killing increases I will celebrate it because I can't imagine Nigerians at this critical time allowed a sick old man again to rule
And for those people that put aside religion, tribe and political leaning and put aside petty sentiments and did the rights thing this election may you continue to prosper...I'm not igbo, yoruba or hausa..
OK make sure you also celebrate when you're at the receiving end of the bad news.

So because your preferred candidate didn't win Nigeria should burn down right?.

Election shouldn't be a do or die affair and people should stop being too emotional with it.

Anyway Myself and my family doesn't have any intention of relocation back to Nigeria in the nearest future, burn it down OK. Mtchew.
