Politics › Re: What Obasanjo "Said" About PDP's Choice Of Atiku During Tinubu's Visit by yemmit90: 5:48pm On Aug 18, 2022 |
austinvsb: Atiku just wasted PDP's chances this election. If North takes power again after buhari, more people in the South will be sympathetic towards disintegration campaigns Northern elites knows this, and they may eventually rally around a southern candidate at last minutes. Kwankwso may step down for one of the leading contestants from South. |

owunabastard: Just have it in mind that life is temporary, enjoy and appreciate nature. For me this depression of a thing is what westerners use to confuse we Africans. Nothing like depression in Africa before the advent of Internet and social medias. Some people foolishly believe they are lagging behind among their mates. Not everything you see on facebook is the true situation of many people. Know what you like doing and do it. Do not listens to people opinions once you are not hurting anybody. Remember life is too short. Get yourself happy. Never compare yourself with any asshole Exactly. Civilization is great but has taken the precious joy of a natural man. People hardly take life serious, their wants and needs are quite limited and within their reach. They don't dream more than their capacity like a modern man. They admires luxury life but don't go extra mile to get it. Society respected a little beginning and hard work. There was joy everywhere without discrimination among social classes. There were probably two classes in the society then, the elites and the masses. The middle class were regarded as educated people who barely have more economic advantage over the rest. The above was Nigeria before 2000. |
Business › Re: Enaira Becomes USSD Enabled From Next Week by yemmit90: 3:13pm On Aug 18, 2022 |
Kajaard: It's digital currency. So you don't need to transact with physical cash when you want to make payments at locations that accept the e naira or when you transfer the e naira to someone having an e naira wallet as well. Even if the recipient does not have an e naira wallet he can exchange the digital currency received for cash at banks or any institution where the digital currency is accepted for transactions.
I hope my explanation makes sense? It doesn't make any sense. If one can easily transfer money using USSD and mobile app, then what is the use of eNaira? It is better off as digital asset that's appreciate or depreciate like bitcoin, or better still, make it an instrument for cross boarders or international money transfer or exchange. |

Bravetunde: Please I'm not talking about the Parkinson disease candidate dying inside everyday. I think is the repercussions of stealingg that is making him to will will so much that the Pampers that they wear him can't contain the urine. We only have two presidential candidate.obi and atiku so which of them are you talking about You still not answer my questions. Why abusing him when he was never the topic of discussion? What gave you assurance that an untested Obi is good for the job? Let me give you a clue, all the presidential candidates are untested, and no one can predict what they will turn out to be in future. Just like the way we all thought Buhari was our messiah in 2015, but now turned out to be a calamity. So, I will ask again, what gave you so much assurance that Obi is the best for the job and will never turn out to be a Calamity? |

Bravetunde: Tinubu is a condemned corruptt kriminal and a bastardd that don't know his father's house, also a Stark illiteratess parading oluwale certificate. In Asia he would have been hanged on national TV even though he is sick and dying already. In Europe and America he would ha e been doing at least a life impressionment where he would have been forced to write a book on the disadvantages of been a theivee, corruptt kriminal and an okultist. But only in Nigeria does everything goes So fellow Nigerians remember that propagandistt are back to sale another rotten thing to you with propagandaa, cross check every news and get your pvc to vote for a American,Asian and European standard president. And after voting obi just go home and start rejoicing because your story will change for better with everything you ever dreamt of. Why verbally attacked another candidate when the topic only talk about Peter Obi? What gave you assurance that an untested Obi will do better than other candidates in a complex society like Nigeria? |
Family › Re: Do Children Owe Their Parents Repatriation? by yemmit90: 1:36pm On Aug 16, 2022 |
HowardWolowitz: Many times crimes are traced to children who want to give all they have to make sure their parents are in good condition, of course, that is good. My point exactly is that children do not owe their parents obligations to repatriate all deeds.
The concept of children's birth comes with the luxury of choice and consent, people get pregnant because they want to get pregnant, either accidentally or not, even if mistakes occur I THINK abortion before the formative of the child in the first four weeks might be legal, but I am not sure. This all adds up to the fact that most times keeping a child is CHOICE.
At a point when the child gives no consent of their own, you are then principally obligated to care for them, government can act in certain situations where there is foul play in child care and that is the extent of how obligated parents are.
My point:
Since you consent to the childbirth without the child's consent, the child owes you no obligation to do the same, IT SHOULD BE THE CHILD CHOICE TO EITHER PROVIDE OR NOT.
What is your take?

It is quite unfortunate that the White you people are coping wrongly are not thinking the same way. Go and check very well, majority of them are living with their parents, infact their parents plays a major role in their lives and decisions even as adults. Anyway, when you start training children, you will know the importance of being taking care of by your children when you are old. |

The day those mentioned, especially Obasanjo supports the idea will signify the end of this ungovernable entity. |

Channah1: If you can't give money ( which what most people in Nigeria would really want) the only help you can render is helping the person relocate to a saner country.
Open a business for them by sending items for them to sell and earn a living.
I wonder what kind of help you can possibly render a person in Nigeria if not money. Abi you wan help them dey sweep house from away? I wonder too. |

Politics › Re: Reasons Why Obi May Underperform As A President by yemmit90: 6:13pm On Aug 06, 2022 |
Nigeria may remain the way it is until we all focus on institutional re-arragement and grassroots policies in our various local governments.
It is quite unfortunate that some politically daft youths still thinking a messiah is somewhere that will turn the country to gold amidst her enormous institutional problems, insecurity and incredible corruption by the civil servants and the general public.
A good president alone can't cure Nigeria problem but combination of good leaders across 3 tier of government especially legislature and jusdiciary that will be ready to make necessary adjustments to current constitution and reverse back the country to regionalism as well as total independence of local governments.
Before anyone attack me, I am not a supporter of corrupt Obi, Tinubu or Atiku. Only waiting for the time Nigerians will stage a massive protest and demand for total eradication of 1999 constitution or true federalism. |

Reinaldo: Many people in the SouthWest will vote for Atiku instead of Tinubu. Just like what happened during the Osun governorship election. I dont think so, Yorubas and their PDP stake holders wont allow another Fulani to take over after Buhari has spent 8 years in power. If north too know what is good for them, they will not allow Atiku to take over from Buhari because the division we are seeing under Buhari would be a child play compare to what the country will turn to. Majority will vote for Tinubu, while some will simply go for Obi. |

Sorry for the negative words used on him, already modified it. Kindly do the same to the one you quoted. Munamoqel: the government that now uses 97 percent of it revenues to pay debt should cut back on taxes !and pay the debts with ! Yes, With proper planning, government can still raise significant revenues from various taxes. Let me use this simple example, if import duties on a particular car of country A is $500, and the importer was about to imports 5 cars, and the same importer go to country B where the import duties is just $200 dollar on the same car, and was able to bring 15 cars due to the fact that he is selling at lower price. From above example, Country A will make $2500 from importer, who might be struggling to sell his cars as a result of high price., while ountry B will make $3000 from the same importer, who will sell his cars fast as a result of lower price. |

Lol,they will definitely know this but corruption in our system may not allow them to think straight. Alot of them are working with those guys in black market. For them to send EFCC after these guys in Abuja, it means they know they are the major problem. If importers can maintain official rate, and the government cut than import duties on cars, machines and other consumable products, their prices will almost falls back to pre - 2015 era. |

Munamoqel: so Mr clue if they allow international transfer how will they settle the transaction with master card ? Since CBN do not earn dollars ans it rationing the few it get from oil sale .Nigeria filled with idiots ! The same card that has a limit of $20 a whole month? Is like you dont get it sir, let me go straight to the point. For this country to allow her economy to dictate exchange rate of Naira to Dollar, Bureau de change business must be totally eradicated or strictly limit to Airports. And to achieve this, we need to allow a simple wiring transfer of naira to dollar at ease without much charges. By this method, you have successfully cut off about 98% of total dollar demands from black market. The remaining 2 percent would have little or no effects on the price of imported goods and services. Besides, this method would be far less attractive to any individual for exchange business. Dollar would be surplus, scarce, and at same time maintain it's true value. By then, it would very much easier for CBN to use economic tools to increase naira value. |
