mayorchelsea:
Must everything always revolve around tribe? Is Oliseh's denial of being Igbo the sole reason for his failure? You want your right to self rule in the guise of Biafra to be established but can't respect Oliseh's choice of tribe?how pathetic. Everyone has a right to choose whatever they want.
Which choice of tribe? You think tribe is something you choose? A Delta-Igbo man like Sunday Oliseh came on air to deny being Igbo thereby losing the goodwill of his people.

Politics › Re: Newswatch Magazine Headline About Buhari And PTF: Throwback by zendy: 1:07am On Feb 27, 2016
Well everyone can see it was the year 2000, long before Buhari thought of becoming a civilian president. It has long been public knowledge that allegations of massive corruption trailed Buhari not just as PTF Chairman but as far back as his days as Oil minister in the 70's. Naturally, there are many people who don't care about such allegations as long as they are politically benefiting from the system

Deadlytruth:
But An Igbo man, called Azikiwe, introduced "one Nigeria" at a time when both Yorubas and Hausas made it clear that Nigeria was the mistake of 1914 and a mere geographical expression which should not be further amalgamated but left in such a way that each region would be on its own and enjoy its own resources alone. Had Igbos, led by Zik, abandoned their "one Nigeria" fantasy and faced reality as proposed by Awolowo and Ahmadu Bello, Nigeria would have known peace and the war avoided. But Igbos kept on chanting "one Nigeria" despite seeing it clearly that Nigeria was not really one and could never really become one. If not for a selfish interest and ulterior motive why did Zik and Igbos decide to live in fantasy while reality was staring at them directly in the face?
I can't blame Zik for believing in one Nigeria. Zik was not a soothsayer who could see the future. He was a man who thought that with self rule, Nigeria would be a great country. Until you try something, you can never be sure if it will work or not. So Zik was willing to give 'one Nigeria' a try. It's just unfortunate that it had and still has disasterous consequences.

Politics › Re: The Horrors Of The Biafran War. What You Need To Know (with pictures) by zendy:
Funny enough:
It was Nigeria that came down to the east to start fighting

It was Nigeria that starved those kids to death by creating an artificial blockade, something regarded today as a war crime.

It was Nigeria that forstered the war when they rejected the democratic notion of a referendum offered by Ojukwu and instead, chose the dictatorial notion of 'Nigeria by force'

The war was a testament that the house founded and built by the British criminal known as Lugard and called Nigeria has no foundation

The war exposed the fact that there are people who have a sense of self determination and others who have 'slave mentality'

The war was a lot of things, but no Igbo man worth his salt should ever view it with any sense of nostalgia, for freedom is one of the very few things in life worth fighting and dying for

The only thing people don't know or understand about ibos is why they think anything is unique to their tribe. There are hardworking ibos and there are lazy ibos, just like you will see hardworking and lazy folks in any group anywhere in the world.
There's absolutely nothing unique to ibos except maybe the language.......and a certain head feature.
It is 'Igbo' not 'Ibo'! The 'g' there is very important to how the word sounds! The same 'conies' who say they are 'one Nigeria' with us Igbos, but since independence to date, do not know how to say the name of our tribe correctly. Jokers!

For all the extrajudicial killings in the USA of black people and the war crimes committed by them and other western countries in war zones I never read nor hear about amnesty international investigations into the allegations. I'm not excusing any wrongdoing that African countries may or may not have done but I'm curious as to wether or not the west is using amnesty international as one sided watchdog. I'm all for justice but let everyone feel the long arm of the law.
How do you expect Amnesty international to go into a war zone to conduct investigation? Every killing in the USA, wether extrer judicial or not is always investigated. This is Nigeria we are talking about here.
Politics › Re: Fulani Herdsmen Doing To The South What Bokoharam Did To The North by zendy: 9:59am On Feb 26, 2016
omolami:
There seems to be an arrangement by some northern vampires to do to the southern regions what bokoharam s doing to the north through fulani herdsmen. It is disherting to observe that while fulani herdsmen continue to wreck havock in the southern region Buhari pretends not to know. He does not react nor even make statements on it. One tends to believe that the whole idea is premeditated by some northern elements of fulani origin to divertstate the southern region. My advise to southern regions where fulani is killing people on daily basis without caution is to form strong vigilante to match these fulanis. Continued wailing without forming an army to equally attack them is dangerous. I strongly suggest that these southern states should be pro active by taking the killings to the fulani enclave the southerners should not only target the fulanis they should ensure all their cows are killed too. T he earlier this is done the better because the idea is to scatter the southern regions like bokoharam has done to the northern regions. It is a preplanned issue by some northern vampires.
I remember discussing with a friend of mine about the menace of Fulani people in Igboland. How can people drive their cattles through another man's land, destroy farmlands and when the farmers protest this act of trespass, the farmers are killed? But the truth is that that these Fulani people are all carrying sophisticated Fire arms while the farmer has at best a dane gun, most times just a cutlass. I have seen Fulani teenagers carrying AK 47's. Nobody dares question them, not even the Police. It is useless to fight them. Fulani people think that Nigeria is their personal property and that they free to do what they like. It will always be like that in 'one Nigeria'. But there is Nigeria proverb

One day, one day. Monkey go go market, he no go return

Biafrarep:
I watched the video & was shocked at how wicked & heartless Nigerian soldiers can be. Even the holocaust wasn't this barbaric! In the video, Ipob people were seen praying in a school compound, then all of a sudden some mobile policemen arrived & discovered that the gate was locked from inside, moments later, a large number of soldiers in hilux vans arrived, some of them climbed the fence, shot at the padlock & drove in furiously, it was like a war front, next was sporadic shooting & IPOB members ran in different directions. When the dust settled, there were many dead bodies lithered everywhere!! This is not a scene from the ISIS or Syria, this is 2016 Nigeria, a country supposed to be under a democracy!!! The savagery & barbarism of an average Nigerian is mind boggling. This were unarmed protesters, what they had were just placards!!! Are we indeed a well developed human beings just like other races or are we animals?? What a cursed nation!!!
That video captures the essence of the tragedy called Nigeria. Lord Lugard created Nigeria by shooting and killing people and denying them their basic rights. The same method has been employed ever since to keep Nigeria one. The question remains, why? Wearing a uniform of any of the armed forces has now become a licence to kill at will and at the slightest provocation yet they say we are in a democracy. Thousands of people have been massacred under the watch of president Buhari but he has done nothing to reign in the excesses of his security outfits. The so called APC supporters who claimed they are agents of change are fast becoming worse than PDP ever was and most of them cheer on their murderous commander in chief in making arbitrary arrests, disregard for the constitution and court orders and the senseless killing of unarmed people. They actually want Buhari to be a full blown dictator even though history tells us that dictators never do well.

Nigeria we hail thee

As we all know, ipob leader and their followers don't obey the constituted authourity, their leader enter this country without using his Nigeria or british passport, yet to them it was right, the illiterates ipobs were warned by law enforcement agents not to disrurbed the peace of the estern Nigeria, yet they went to the streets burning mosques, shops, trucks and disrupting the economic activities of onitsha market, forcing people to join the protest, yet you called that peaceful protest,if you people think buhari administration is a walkover,i adviced you to think again.
Biafra is a bad dream.
You may not know this but it is no necessary for any Igbo man to enter Nigeria with a passport, least of all Kanu. Just birth certificate alone is enough to enter Nigeria since it is a legal form of identification. Even a driving license is enough to get into Nigeria so when the clueless Buhari talked about Kanu not coming into Nigeria with a passport, let someone go and educate him. The burning of trucks and a mosque only happend because Buharis murderous security forces fired on peaceful protesters. It is the right of people to protest under their right to freedom of expression and movement. Where have you seen people forcing another to join protest? Did anyone point a gun to someones head and tell them to join the crowd? Buharis administration is a murderous regime and such Governments have never helped anyone in history
Politics › Re: ABA 'MASS GRAVE': We're Still Investigating - Amnesty International by zendy: 5:47pm On Feb 25, 2016
As we all know, the Buhari administration is not a respecter of the constitution. Not even Buhari or his fellow APC followers know about the doctrine of "presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a competent court". That's why Buhari came on live TV to declare Dasuki and Kanu guilty, that's Buhari doesn't know what bail means and that's why you APC supporters shouting 'jail him!' 'Execute him!' 'Hang him'.

Every time that Amnesty international and other human rights organisations report the killings, torture and illegal arrest of people, it not only discredits the regime of Buhari, it also seriously dents the image of Nigeria because these organisations have a worldwide following.

I have no doubt in my mind that the murderous regime of Buhari will slaughter thousands more Nigerians before the first term is over. Buhari is an ex military man who thinks that everything in life is solved by guns and bullets.
Politics › Re: Nyesom Wike Visits Relatives Of Victims Killed By Army In Rivers State. Photos by zendy:
The brutal and repressive regime of Buhari continues its senseless killings of civilians:

Shiattes slaughter in the north

IPOB killings in Onitsha,Portharcourt,Asaba and Aba

The Calabar air bombardment

Now, shootings in Gokahana

The list continues of a regime where a cattle rearing tyrant has shown the world that he cares about nothing about the rule of law or human life. Nigerians have the worst civilian dictatorship in their history.

I commend Wike for showing compassion by going to commiserate with his people who were victims of military gangsterism. I can only hope other Governors like El Rufai,Obiano and Ikpeazu learn something from Wike, to speak out and support victims of military brutality within their domains

Why should one bother with fasting and prayer, also calling on the Church to be prayerful for his release when Kanu has boldly said he is not a Christian?
You do not have to be a Christian to believe in one God or to pray for another person who doesn't follow your religious inclination.

Asari Dokubo is historically right about the name Biafra. It was Frank Opigo, an Ijaw man, who suggested the name 'Biafra' when the eastern Nigeria consultative assembly met in Enugu on 27th May 1967 and mandated Ojukwu to declare the Eastern region a new independent country.

Politics › Re: Buhari: Jonathan And His Wife Must Go To Jail by zendy: 8:07pm On Feb 23, 2016
americanigga:
Nigerians cannot lie that they did not know who buhari was before they made him their president. We knew what buhari did in 1983 - 1985 we knew his philosophy, several documentaries where done to remind us who he is. We knew he is virtually an "Illiterate dictator" but we still voted for him. The question is why did we vote for a an "Illiterate dictator"  instead of a PhD holder and a seating president.

The answer is very simple we consider buhari as an "Illiterate dictator" but Jonathan was worst- Jonathan was and he is an ineffectual buffoon, a corrupt wolf in sheep clothing.

I will not blame Buhari if the economy collapses, because we knew his antecedent. But I will blame him if Jonathan, his wife, and other PDP thieves do no spend the rest of their life in jail.

I did not vote an "Illiterate dictator"  to fix the economy I voted him to jail The Corrupt Ineffectual Buffoon.
And after jailing GEJ, how will that affect the price of Garr? How will that improve the massive Government deficit? How will that help that thousands that are about to lose their jobs? How will that reduce the impending inflation due to the fall in the Naira? You think jailing GEJ will stop others from stealing? What about all the others that stole before the coming of GEJ? I'm not against GEJ going to jail if he has done anything wrong, however, there are more pressing issues than that. Compared to GEJ, most Nigerian presidents, alive or dead, did much worse.

Politics › Re: Buhari Has Performed (in)credibly Well by zendy: 9:38am On Feb 23, 2016
I'm not a PDP or APC fan. There is no difference between those two parties and both are as bad they come. However, GEJ has done his own part and bowed out of the national stage leaving posterity to judge him, but the present stage with Buhari leaves much to be desired. The much talked about change supporters were touting everwhere wasn't change for the better but change for the sake of changing. If APC had really meant change, it would never have adopted a disaster of a man like Buhari as its leader. But APC had to adopt Buhari in other to get the much needed northern vote. In other words, mediocrity was exchanged for political power. To this day, nobody in APC including Buhari can tell us what the present economic plan is. Nobody knows what the vision of APC is besides kicking PDP out. Buhari in his first media chat openly displayed his contempt of the constitution and of law courts by challenging why accused people should be given bail, Buhari doesn't even know the basic legal term of everyone being "presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law". How can such a man lead a nation anywhere? Corruption is not all about arresting a couple of big names, corruption is more about plugging the holes by which public money is siphoned away. How can someone be chasing rats while his house is burning? You chase Rats after you secure your house.

Under this administration, thousands of civilians have been gunned down in cold blood from Shia Muslims in the north to IPOB protesters in the east to certain communities in the south. And some will be shouting change? Change of what? Change of one incompetent Government to another? Some change indeed.
