Travel / Re: Uk Visa - Visa Appeal Process by delarontus(f): 7:52pm On Dec 02, 2009
@orexjoe: U just need to do what they asked you to do. Go with the previous letter. It is the discretion of the ECO to give you permission to change your sponsor i.e the college or even your course of study. For all you know the previous college might be processing its licence and be given a B rating for now.
Travel / Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered by delarontus(f): 7:19pm On Dec 02, 2009
@ Sonye: If your course is 9 months or less (Inner London) = U need course fees and £800 for each calendar month of the course up to 9 months i.e £7,200. Outer London = course fees and £600 for 9 months i.e £5,400.

If your course is more than 9 months (Inner London) = 1st year of fees, or for continuing students fees for next period of study and £7,200. Outer London = 1st year of fees and £5,400.

U don't need to multiply by 12 or by the number of years u're studying.

Inner London includes Camden, Islington, Southwark, City of London, Kensington and Chelsea, Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Lambeth, Wandsworth, Hammersmith and Fulham, Lewisham, Westminster, Haringey or Newham.

Why can't Emeno use the company's account if they have documents to show they have been authorised to do so?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries by delarontus(f): 7:50pm On Oct 23, 2009
Its 28 working days. You can use the conversion on either day but its best to add a little extra for the fluctuations in exchange rates.
Computers / Re: Nigerian Company Wants To Monopolize The Internet by delarontus(f): 8:30am On Nov 21, 2007
@Seun: You said Galaxy was suing the federal governement for not allowing them to monopolise the internet but in your quote, its Interstella suing for N10 billion. Please clarify, who wants the monopoly? I think its Interstella from the stories i've read before now.
Travel / Re: What And What To Travel With As A Student To London by delarontus(f): 2:03pm On Oct 27, 2007
@D10: Most Nigerians feel this way when they visit better countries but they end up doing nothing about it either because they do not have the opportunity to do so or they are just selfish.

Please make an impact when you do return.
Business / Re: Need Someone To Help Register An Ltd Company In Nigeria by delarontus(f): 1:03pm On Oct 08, 2007
I can register the companies but since we do not know each other, its better you get a trustworthy contact in Nigeria who will liaise with me. That way, both parties' interests are represented. This is what I suggest to my foreign clients in order to be transparent and get documents properly signed. I can be reached via delarontus@yahoo.com

Please take anti-malaria drugs because you will not get tropicalised drugs like ours. They are allowed by immigration.
Education / Re: Online Msc/mba Degree, Anyone Gone Through It? by delarontus(f): 9:23am On Sep 07, 2007
University of Leicester has a representative in Nigeria called RDI Nigeria. You can find them at 10B Lalupon Close, Off keffi Street, S/W Ikoyi, Lagos.

Basically, they recruit students for the University here in Nigeria and the students get to keep their jobs while studying. The unique feature of this programme is that every student here in Nigeria has the same status with a student on campus at Leicester. The certificate does not indicate that the programme was done vis distance learning. The fees can also be paid in instalments during the course of the programme.

Business / Re: Pls Help Me My Gtb Mastercard by delarontus(f): 9:10am On Aug 14, 2007
@Sleek mc: I currently use the GT Mastercard and i've never had any problem with it. I've been able to use it on websites such as Oxford, T.M Lewin, Next and other leading stores that accept Mastercard. I think the problem is with those sites though i'm not sure. When the padlock is open, it means the site is not secure so don't use it there.

You can call 01-2712701 and lodge a complaint on Mastercard.
Business / Re: Banks Rejecting Coins? by delarontus(f): 5:00pm On Aug 13, 2007
No bank will accept the new coins from you because the idea is to disburse them for spending and not to keep them. The Central Bank has issued a notice to all banks to pay out coins and not to accept them so that people can spend them. However, they failed to realise that the price system has not taken coins into consideration so people don't get to spend them.
Business / Re: Pls Help Me My Gtb Mastercard by delarontus(f): 10:32am On Aug 13, 2007
If you're that smart why did you come to the forum with your problem? Is it so much trouble to realise one was only trying to help? Lots of sites accept mastercard and if the ones you visited didn't accept yours, tough luck!
Business / Re: Pls Help Me My Gtb Mastercard by delarontus(f): 11:22am On Aug 10, 2007
You can only spend it on sites that accept Mastercard which is what you should have looked out for in the first place. You can sell it to someone who needs to shop online in order to exhaust the money on the card.
Literature / Re: Which Books/Novels Are You Currently Reading? by delarontus(f): 6:40pm On Aug 01, 2007
I haven't read Shogun. The first and only one of his books I have is Tai Pan and i haven't read it. Maybe i'll summon the courage to read it sometimes soon.

@tianshe

Is Tai Pan interesting? I've had it for years without reading it
Romance / Re: How To Keep Him Calling Back by delarontus(f): 10:09am On Jul 23, 2007
Seun, the advice is for ladies to use on men that's why the topic says "How to Keep Him Calling Back". The advice won't work on ladies by men.

There is poverty in Nigeria and no matter how hard one tries to shield visitors from it, an eagle eye can see behind the facade. He only said what he saw!

mukadas: Please why is it that most flash sticks do not open automatically when you double click on them to view the files. Instead it says what type of file do you want to open the flash with?

I thought it was caused by viruses until i scanned one stick using AVG, Kaspersky, Norton 2007 and Ad-Aware SE and found nothing. But the problem still remains. When you right click the stick you'll see open(o), autoplay, explore(x).

Literature / Re: Ken Follet. by delarontus(f): 8:59am On Mar 08, 2007
True that. I still picture them as 'twins' in my head. It was my first Ken Follett.
Literature / Re: Ken Follet. by delarontus(f): 9:43am On Mar 05, 2007
I love his books. I've read 'On Wings of Eagles' which is non-fiction about two employees of Ross Perot in the U.S, 'Key to Rebecca' about a secret code. and 'Third Twin' about two twins.

He's very good and recommendable.
Religion / Re: Jesus' Tomb Found? by delarontus(f): 9:22am On Mar 02, 2007
@my2cents: For once i've found someone on this forum who is focused on his topic and does not want digressions based on sentiments and personal beliefs. Please keep it up.

We'll wait and see what they show us when the day comes, wonder if its true.
Autos / Re: .. by delarontus(f): 9:59am On Feb 21, 2007
A brand new car is better than a used one any day. Think of having to visit the mechanic to fix one problem or the other. With a new car you only have to service it and it will last at least six months before you see a mechanic.
Phones / Re: Mtel Wap by delarontus(f): 9:17am On Feb 21, 2007
The Mtel GPRS is not for the public yet because its yet to be launched. The few people who can browse now are lucky because they either have friends or friends' friends. 'Man know man' is the name of the game there.
