TravelRe: Is It Really Difficult To Find A Life Partner In US Or Canada? by 360command: 5:32pm On Sep 08, 2020
Before I start let me just say we are all different, one might have it easy, the other might get it by luck and another might be hard to get it..

It is not easy marrying in America. Then, people go like ,white women love the black .... well, it might be true but a few do and even though they like the black skin or d**k, it does not necessarily mean they would marry you except there are circumstances involve in it.

In America, not everyone values marriage and as Africans, we are quick to say "marry me". When you keep it that way , you scare your partner making it look like there is something wrong.

The Africans who already have their citizenship or green-card are not willing to marry you perhaps he/she wants you to suffer like how they suffered. Or they feel, you only trying to marry them because of papers.

I would say Africans do marry Africans, it just depends on the individuals.

After reading the OP, I thought about an ivorian song where he stated in the introduction; permit me if I may translate to English as he said it in French. He said " who says there are no good girls in Abidjan"

Now I am saying it to the people, who says there are no good girls in Nigeria.

What makes you think black people didn't call each other black?
White people called themselves white.

The pastor's statement is foolish and I expect more foolishness from this man of stupidity in the future.
I am going by their term "white" . They brought race and colorism. Now, the arabs are called "white" in the US public system. but I also know that as Africans we identify ourselves by tribes but not as colour.

Foolish statement. We never actually refer to ourselves as black but identify ourselves as tribes until when the "white settlers" began to identify us as blacks in terms of race.

I wish i could see the reactions of Phyno and Timaya behind the scenes because they prophetically warned this fat buffoon about his present predicaments but "dog wey go lost no go listen to whistle of it's owner".

To all the lazy bones and wasted sperms called Gee boys, yahoo boys or whatever, may you end your lives in misery and sorrow. Everything you acquired through fraud will disappear before your own eyes. You will not only return to square one, you will beg money to drink gaari when the consequence of your fraudulent ways hits back.

What is the difference between a yahoo boy and an armed robber? A yahoo boy robs his victims with gadgets and deceit, while the latter uses weapons to steal from innocent people. While we condemn and burn armed robbers, isn't it time yahoo boys face the same fate so as to serve as a deterrence to others?

To the empty skulls who will quote me and blame politicians for encouraging fraud may your parents be defrauded of their prized possession so you can feel the pain of scam victims.

The federal government has a lot to do in this regard. The national orientation agency needs to reorientate Nigerians on the dangers of fraud and encourage legitimate earnings. Crime doesn't pay. The law always win.
I condemn the act of Yahoo boys but no matter how you put it, crime seems to be paying to some people. Gee boys, armed robbers or political robbers are all part of this and they should face similar consequences.

jealousy and hatred is the reasons people act that way towards Nigerians. I schooled in Ghana, life was good for me during my studies. Keep in mind, I did not hustle but there was something about the Ghanaians who just hate you been Nigerians.

I could hear Ghanaians say, you Nigerians how do you make your money? You Nigerians think you can come and take our girls! You Nigerians don't quit! Etc
TravelRe: What Are Top Skills I Need To Learn Before Leaving For USA? by 360command: 1:13am On Aug 18, 2020
CuteMercury:
Good evening ladies and gentlemen, so by next year or next two years, it is now 100% certain that i will leave for the United States of America.

Though i am educated but what i have come to understand is that in our world today, most especially in the United States of America, learning a skill is very Very important and you can can never go broke or jobless if you have certain skills in the United States of America.

So i want to use the rest of this year to acquire a skill that will be of great help to me when i get to America.

So i have decided to learn interior home and office designing and decorating.

I want to ask if acquiring a skill of interior design is the best for me or what are the top skills you think i can acquire or someone can acquire before travelling to the United States of America.
you can choose to learn anything various members have listed ,it will come in handy at one point but the fact that I know is when you arrive USA, it might take you 1-3 months before you can work and think of this, it might take you another few months to acquire certificate for you to apply for a job but it all depends on your host whom can put you inline so as you can find job easily.

One skill I will advocate for you to learn is braiding.. just learn how to braid. Don't learn other things relating to hair styling such as applying chemicals etc because if you want to learn all those you need a certificate for it and the govt go check you on that where you need a permit etc..

With Braiding, there is nothing like certification, no govt approval etc.. you can braid girls hair in your house, in their house even though we know the law states that you should not braid hair in homes but a shop. Many people braid hair in homes.. after all, if you want to start, you have to start from home and then later find a shop.

There is money in braiding, as a starter you can make $150 a day.with time, you will build your clientele and you can earn $700.

A beninois gf did this, she usedto earn $10 per hour working in hotel, warehouse which was $80 per day. When she started braiding, she was making $150. Today, that girl whom I usedto visit in her house braiding, has a shop, employing 2african girls who are student. What she makes a day, she can pay for her shop rent in 1 week. That girl earns $700 in a day. And her hair pricing are moderate. Same story to a Nigerian girl that I know, she makes more money than the beninois, employing girls in her shop..but her hair pricing is high..

Let me just say this , nothing comes easy in life, you have to work but you have to be smart about it.

I can also say, if you learn how to become an electrician, you should be able to negotiate with the staffing agency between $24-$28 per hour as long as you know the job. As an electrician, you are sure of having 56hours per week. Do the maths..

Construction, plumbing is owned by Hispanics, they will want to pay a black man low until you proof you can do the extra....

In fact, everything pays in the USA but I just gave you a bullet point as how things will be if you are to come new in America and which is best to breakthrough if you know the skill involve..

Merci mon frere!!!
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Retailers' Shops In Ghana Locked Up As Police, Army, Flog Them by 360command: 3:12pm On Aug 14, 2020
SmartPolician:
I have followed the debate online
The Ghanaians always insist that they have existing laws that no foreign-owned small-scale business is allowed to operate in their country.
Their argument is that they are just few in the country
So, if they allow foreigners to come in their numbers, they will dominate the space and drive their people out of business.
Why question is, Why do Nigerians still go there to start small-scale businesses when they know that they have such laws in place?
Perhaps Nigerians are just being our lawless selves, believing that with some tips everything is possible.
The law conflicts with the ecowas laws even though this matter has been brought up on several occasions at high level but there are measures to which Nigerians or foreigners can still operate. Such that ,they should register under the trade unions of Ghana as well as apply for a resident permit.

Now, the criteria to get the permit to trade might be expensive as a "foreigner" which they do not look into "ecowas" but they tend to make it frustrating on the Nigerians which brings back these issues continuously.

Personally, given the years I spent in Ghana, I feel it is all about hate, envy, jealous seeing the Nigerians make money in Ghana. Keep in mind that there are other foreign nationals who engage in such business ; not that they have regularized their papers but the Ghanaians deem it fit to target a group of people.

Note: Ghanaians trade alot in Cote d'ivoire but do you see ivorians disturbing the Ghanaians about permit even though we know the Ghanaians conduct business illegally.

They all thought it is easy there. Where is the free money US government pays, where is the free provisions & groceries Canadian government shares around? They should have stayed behind to enjoy it na.

If you have been stranded before, nobody will tell you it is convenient to chop your gari with happiness in Nigeria than leave in another mans land where even your close friends & family will abandon you.
bro, stop all your rubbish write up. If you have not traveled, don't write what you don't know. The govt of Canada actually do give benefits to immigrants and its citizens, even if you are in Canada on asylum, they still help you out.

All those Nigerians who got back, home is home,I won't take that away but if those Nigerians are not involved in any form of big level govt jobs, entrepreneurial skills, na Sahara. somebody who is working in a mental home in the USA without papers is doing fine.and even when you have your shit together in north America, the sky is your limit. I have friends who are nurses earning 70,000usd to 100,000usd (though u go work) per year. Can a nurse in Nigeria earn 30,000usd a year?

A Nigerian girl friend called her people back home in Nigeria, guess what , No light. I do not think I can eat my garri in happiness where there is darkness. I rather eat that Garri in happiness in a country like Benin republic not Nigeria..

The truth is if you have lived in Japan, this is no news.

If someone loses his item and an individual(local or foreigner) finds it, they always return it.

I once had $1000 and my passport misplaced, but it was returned to me intact.

This is a norm in Japan..

If you try a social experiment where you purposely lose your phone, 10 out of ten will return it.

In the future, when water from the tank starts pouring to the roof, it will weaken the cement or rods used in the making. The sun begins to penetrate through thereby creating cracks on the wall. Also, you start seeing watermarks which spoils the interior and exterior painting, moulds or some green things starts growing..

Right from the first date I guess. I believe it should be sooner rather than later, before things get deep. You might just tell him when you get to the "tell me more about yourself" part. It's simple, just say your name is Amina and you are a single mom. It helps to weed out partners that aren't serious about you or guys who can't handle it.
the partner who got you pregnant, why don't you keep him since you all were both serious to be pregnant. Ashawo!!

I understand you clearly and you are on point. With education and training, it does not matter who teaches or trains who..

I have a gf from Burkina Faso, her brother went to Niger for military training. That does not mean the Nigerienes do not learn from other countries.

Even the United states who were in the Philippines also learnt from the Filipinos when it comes to jungle fighting..

Note: I get wat u mean and you are on point but like I said, with education and training, it does not matter who you learn from.. the British forces do have experience when it comes to dealing with terrorists, even Nigeria knows but it is still part of globalization as we need to learn from each other.
