Some cars start on either P or N. I can be cruising at 30kmph, switch from D to N and then switch off the engine without stopping the car or using the brakes. When I want to start the engine again I just crank then switch back to D while the car is still in motion

I only do this with extreme caution though, truth is that it works.

It's an Honda City 2007.

It doesn't change the performance but it sometimes just Jerks a lil and we are good to go.

It check engine light remains on. Even after the decelerating. But goes off when I put off the engine and put it on.

Only comes on when I accelerate above 4rpm due to gear changes. It's an automatic drive.

To add to this, most of our vulcanizers carry a pressure gauge that is uncalibrated, faulty or they simply don't know how to properly read the gauge.

Most pen tire pressure gauge has 2 sides of readings one side is either Psi or lb/in² which are both same and the other side is in kg/cm².

30Psi=30lb/in²q=2.1kg/cm²

So imaging this, how many volcanizers know which is correct? If you tell a volcanizer to pump your tire to 40, how will you know if he pumped 40Psi or 4.0kg/cm².

If he did 40Psi you are safe.
If he did 4.0kg/cm²=57Psi
If he did 3.0kg/cm²=43Psi

Besides, these readings are so small and require good training to avoid reading in error, especially parallax error (O'level physics/chemistry).

Who has seen the coincidence with what Piyke has seen?

Some vulcanizers are actually using the wrong side of their gauge. Also, no vulcanizer will pump less than 40Psi if you didn't limit him to 35Psi. What they go with is the maximum tire pressure written on the tire against the car specific tire pressure. I have tried to enlighten a good number of them but they all stick to their wrong training.

I once asked a roadside vocah what PSI my tyre needed, he said '50' like a boss, I was wowed! Asked why, he smiled and pointed to a spot in the tyre where it was written ''51psi max''. I simply told him to use 40psi and ran for my dear life.

If 35psi is recommended as in most cases, why does the tire look a bit visually deflated where strictly applied? Especially with not too new tires?

Over time, when you drive, due to heat and colliding forces of the air molecules, the air pressure in the tyres increase. When you've parked and cooled sufficiently, the real cold PSI shows, usually in morning time.

Yesterday I was coming home in very light traffic.

There are cars parked on both sides making the road narrow. Still passable with diligence.

The car in my front wanted to turn left so he had to wait for oncoming traffic to give way. They didn’t give way and behind us the oncoming traffic was also blocked. Now no one is moving and here comes the inferno of vehicle horns.

The minute we started inching forward some maniac Okada rider managed to wedge himself and his bike in between my truck and a parked car. You would expect a sane individual to apologize but he asked me if I was blind.

If this was the average lunatic doped up commercial rider I would not be fazed since those are on a suicidal mission. But this is an older and well dressed gentleman.

If this man didn’t know the proper riding protocols then it’s a lost cause.

I’m also familiar with Gbagada express and it’s a much bigger road than the mile 2/oshodi one. Even the service lanes are access differently cos of crowd along the mile 2 side of which sm service lanes are even 2 ways rather than one way. Most buses drop passengers on the express and that’s the norm for years.

If u look carefully at the truck there was no collision or any sort. It just fell, tumbled at sm speed. Now I have seen these same bloody trucks carry loads or even containers and they are slanting to one side. People will stop and stare at the madness bt nobody know what exactly to do or say about it. It’s that sad.

That road is a newly built road at 85% completion. Trucks ply there to Mile2/Tincan/apapa axis.

Why did the truck fall exactly? The simple answer is over speeding and loss of control from Sm incident in the truck or outside it.

The bus based on current bus system layout has no single fault here. It Cleared of the Express as is common with that place. Then next side besides the bus is an open drainage system.

These containers shouldn't be carried by trailers, since train transportation isn't functioning well in Nigeria issues like this will keep occuring. Btw safety measures should be ensured by the appropriate authority for trailers carrying these containers to curb the menace caused by this things

A trailer is not built to tumble or tip over unless it is faulty, unworthy to drive and the driver is completely reckless. I stated b4 we do not have strong winds like in some state highways in the Us that can topple trucks in motion. So why shud trailer be failing if not that our government is useless and irresponsible.

Look at the beautiful lives lost due to government incompetence and lackadaisical nature to preventing death trucks from plying our roads. It has to STOP!!!!!!

I just had it to the brink!!! One of my client has been checking quite a lot of ViNs for some months now with me and still no headway......this guy has paid a lot of money to run his VinChecks with nothing better coming out, i just feel sorry for him while checking this one that he sent to me few moments ago.

He has been checking out a lot of Honda Accord 2013-2018. All of them he has checked either has high mileage, flooded or bad history.

He is someone that likes a clean car!

A lot of dead cars are in naija!!!

What can we do to stop import of these Abroad-Condemned written off cars to naija?

Please if anyone has a clean title good toks 2013-2016 Honda Accord in Abuja revert!

Now the report in detail

1. 4 years ago, in Lagos, I was searching for a registered Kia Rio. All the samples I saw were terrible save for one who's interior, body and electrical were still okay but engine was having issues. I spoke to some mechanics to assist me replace the engine. They were either terrible in their response or I was not convenient with their response. I spoke to Gazzuzz, he gave me his words and condition which I found pleasing and easier. In less than 2days, he fixed the car and replace AC compressor and car was driven to Calabar in Cross River State. Car is still in use as we speak.


2. Last week, I was searching for the catalytic converter Bank 1 and Bank 2 of 2GR-FE for Lexus RX350. I searched all the spare parts market in Abuja. What I was seeing were either reworked types or types which would fail very soon. Time was running out, I saw one from a seller who quoted 280k for both and they were rusty and brownish. I decided, I rather kill myself than take such bad samples for such an expensive part.
I dialed various contacts in Ladipo but the price was still terrible till I remembered Gazzuzz had a 2GR-FE engine and transmission with Catalytic converter and harness he was going to sell off.
I dialed him and he sent me pictures of the catalytic converter. I was beyond pleased but scared of the price. I asked him with great trembling and humility "oga Sir, eskuse me sir, pls sir, what is the last price?", then he dropped the bomb shell, it was cheaper than the types I was seeing, but then again, he said because of you, I can further reduce the price by a factor of 12345. My joy knew no bounds. I sharply fired up my mumu bank app and sent the funds to him. 2days later the cats were facing me with my two korokoro eyes I saw and beheld for beauty of these cats
I installed them and I've driven 200+ miles yet no mumu catalytic converter below threshold faults any more!
