Emergingnation:
Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has mocked Oduduwa agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Igboho over his arrest.

Igbokwe said Igboho’s arrest was an indication that “Juju” does not work.

Sharing a photograph of Igboho wearing charms on his Facebook wall, the politician said, “Juju” failed in the Southeast and has also failed in the Southwest.

The aide to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State wrote:

Leave the topic, let face reality!

In Ghana, the president can address the citizens with their local dialogues And everyone will understand

In Kenya, the same thing and many African countries and some western countries.

That alone show the oneness balancing of that country.

But in Nigeria, we don't have a language.

We say our national languages are

Igbo
Yoruba
Hausa
And we end up using English as our national language.

Is that not enough reason to see that we have nothing in common?

Let everyone go to where they feel safe.
Nigeria cannot work with the unimaginable differences that we share.

Let those with the know-how work to separate us to our ethnic comfort. Please!
ABSOLUTELY FALSE!
Anyway, EVERY Nigerian speaks/understands Pidgin!

Nonetheless, language is not determinative of nationhood…
Canada has 2 major (plus indigenous) languages, Switzerland has 4, Belgium has 3, etc.

Renowned author, Chimamanda Adichie has called out the parish priest of the Catholic church in Aba who verbally attacked her over her comments about the catholic church.

This happened at her mother's funeral mass where she had reported to have walked out but later came in to explain the reasons for her actions and comments against some practices about the catholic church in Nigeria.

In her speech, she was seen speaking in her local dialect and point out why people should not be forced to donate money for launching.

EducationRe: FUTMINNA Graduating Student Wears "Cheated In Every Exam" T-shirt by 9jaRealist: 9:29am On Jul 22, 2021
Justseyii:
Are these people not watching the news? Why set yourself up like this?
Sixsigmahub:
Another Final Year Student in a Federal University in Nigeria has been spotted by the school authorities with an Examination Malpractice Shirt.

It’s been a very trendy month this July as the internet as been raging hot since the news of Uniben’s Peace Ufuoma being investigated by the School authorities for wearing a shirt that said, “Aggressive malpractice brought me this far”.

According to be report by , Department of Microbiology, University of Benin has constituted a committee to probe the results of a female student, who marked her graduation in a controversial shirt.

Some weeks ago, a video had gone viral on social media which featured the young lady, Peace Ufuoma, wearing a shirt that reads ‘aggressive malpractice brought me this far’.

In a meeting on Tuesday, July 13, the management of the institution begun investigating all the results of the lady and a report is to be given within a week.

The memo sighted online by Siggy correspondent was signed by the department’s head, S.E Omonigho, and directed to one Prof I. O Enabulele to head the committee.

There had been reports on Wednesday that the student was asked to rewrite all her papers from her level two till the end of level four.

The report also alleged that the school management is of the opinion that Peace Ufuoma be used as a scapegoat to tell every student of the University of Benin that examination malpractices are not allowed within her walls.

In yet another unconfirmed report released on the evening of the same wednesday, the spokesperson for the University of Benin, Benedicta Adeola Ehanire, has said there is no report yet from the panel set up to investigate a 400-level student, Peace Ufuoma, who is under probe for alleged exam malpractice.

Everyone has had one of two things to say about the incident but the fact remains that the University of Benin has made her point clear in publicly declaring that she has no room for malpractices of all sort and offenders will be prosecuted squarely.

Amidst all these drama, another photo surfaces online of a young male graduate of a yet to be identified University boldly showing this sign-out shirt which read, “Cheated in every Exam”.

A source has reported that the school authorities have started to take the “Uniben move”. They might have to start investigating into his record to find loopholes.

What is going to be the end of this? Are they going to take any drastic decision against the young man?

https:///another-final-year-student-spotted-with-an-examination-malpractice-shirt/
Why would any “drastic decision” be taken “against” the dude? huh

How DUMB would the authorities be to think this was a confession?
How USELESS is the university admitting to be for someone to cheat in every exam?

Anyway, this is the same nation where DUMB people wanted to prosecute someone for wearing a “Dot Nation” t-shirt. SMH

I had a very nasty confrontation with them at beggar , I use a diesel car but that day my car cut gas, so I came out open the engin to fix it , na so I see this towing van o.
Before I knew it , one had jumped in the car, in the driver's seat. Na so I change am o
I told them tha if they do any rubbish I would cause an accident right there. I told them that nobody will tow my car out of there. I started the car and left.
They are all on illegal.

My fuel pump cut on 3rd mainland bridge them I manage to park by the side they park the clowns came with their towing van....I tell them before dem tow thus car one person go enter water
Of course, cars can always breakdown…
But when that happens, they should be towed OFF the road.

You are putting other road users lives at risk…
And bet each of you know you could not get away with that in any civilized country.

Nigeria is a jungle. When you know this you've known peace..

My Experience
My baby was admitted at a private hospital close to Akowonjo round about. After discharged from the hospital, we were asked to get a particular medication from any pharmacy outside as they don't have it. I decided to go through the dopemu flyover to drive to iyana ipaja. This was at between 5:45pm to 6pm, immediately I drove half way the bridge I noticed on coming vehicle in my lane, I was like why are these guys using one way, same with my wife as she was sitting behind with my daughter. As I approach the small round about after the bridge to make a U-turn, boom a police Hilux van just drove and blocked the way..8 armed police men came out and pointed their gun and asked me to park. At first Instance, I was wondering what happened, what did I do same with my wife...people around were shouting one way one way! One of the armed men asked me to open my door, which I did and he hopped in and instructed I drive to their station that it's one way. I then told him that I know it's one way, but I'm rushing to the pharmacy to get a prescribed medication for my daughter who was discharged from the hospital, i showed him other medication given to us by the hospital. Oga still insist that we go to their station that m car must be taken to Alausa.
We got to their station, and the Hilux was right behind us..so he asked me to go talk to his boss. I approached the man and told him that I drove through the one way because it's an emergency, I needed to get a medication for my daughter. He was looking at me that do I know how much I'll spend if my car is impounded and taken to Alausa, I responded Yes sir. After like few seconds he asked me to leave. I shouted shun sir and Thank him..when I drove past where the police men obstructed me, some men standing there that witnessed the scene were asking me that, oga they release you, you get luck o....That from 3pm dopemu bridge is one way o.
How on Earth would I'd known this, they said there's a sign post to this..i said ok o. If not for my little daughter I don't know wetin for Shelley that day.
Nigerians and “my own is different” mentality…
You broke the law and you’re forming indignation.

If you were abroad would you drive against one-way traffic?
But you folks turn Nigeria into a country of ANYHOWNESS and then wail about “jungle”!

If Nigeria can be termed a “jungle”…
It’s only because Nigerians act like ANIMALS! SMDH!!

Today I was driving in Lagos and suddenly I saw the car in front of me make a U-turn. I didn't take it serious then the car in front of me signalled to me to make a U-turn.

Before I could make a U-turn this towing vehicle was already in front of me. As I turned, the next thing I saw is the towing vehicle reversing straight towards my car at high speed. The speed was high enough to crush my car and and even give me and my passenger serious injury.

Thank God, I managed to dodge the towing vehicle.

Firstly, there was nothing to indicate that it's a one-way.

Secondly, this car could have injured me or perhaps killed me and even gotten away with it.

Thirdly, it wasn't even on a highway or expressway. It was on a local street, why put people's lives at risk in enforcing a "crime" that doesn't put people's lives at risk?

Now, I'm wondering:

1. How does the Lagos State Government justify this act?

2. Is this how the Lagos state government impounded all those cars they show on the news?
Exactly how does driving against one-way traffic not put people’s lives at risk? huh
Or do you want the government to wait until someone is killed before enforcing laws?!
